CVD sorry the last trimester is tough. I dread the last two months. With my second I was crippled with pelvic pain...so so awful. Hope I manage to avoid it this time. I did pilates between the second one and this and really noticed a difference in my stomach and back muscles so I hope that helps somewhat. Hopefully the weeks will race in and may will be here before you know it. I hope to get a c section date end of june!
Heidi- do you have any suggestions for prenatal Pilates? Im not so keen on yoga (hurts my wrists and knees). But i fancy Pilates, just havn't found a prenatal one yet.
Bama- my condolences *HUGS* I can't imagine. Hope you find peace, somehow.
CVD- you are nearly to the end! It's getting so close! I hope the time goes through quickly since 3rd tri can be tough.
AFM- i had my 20 week u/s today...im happy to report that baby girl didn't grow a hotdog! LOL (I was so worried they were wrong at 16 weeks since she was hiding her bits and so little). But no hiding this time! The tech was hilarious "Oh! Yep! Thats a Vagina alright! Yep!" LOL
LOL I am sure the hubby isn't too thrilled with my new attitude. I just keep reminding him that I am in my 3rd Tri and that I am NOT going to be all rainbows and flowers. Today I have had 5 or 6 people tell me that I don't look like I am going to make it until June 20th. Gee thanks, lol. Hey prenatal appointments are still pretty exciting cvd. I am starting my 2 week checks now so that should be interesting.Quote:

AFM, I'm finally better from the worst sinus infection and bronchitis I've ever had. I won't forget the agony of that any time soon! I'm now officially in the 3rd tri and I'm seeing my midwives every 2 weeks now. Eeeeek! This is going so fast! Hope you're all well!

P4P your photos are fabulous and don't worry too much about the comments. They are more to do with other peoples issues. My boss keeps telling me that I look ready to pop already. She only has one DD that she had at 26 weeks due to preterm labour. She said it was too scary to go through that again so I think she may be a little bit jealous of my fabulous bump and healthy pregnancy 😜
Cvd hilarious about the coach diaper bag! I told hubby about 3 weeks ago that I wanted one as my birthday/push present, lol. Now I just have to find a style that I like. Yeah the midwife told me just to be careful with my weight gain. She said it is most likely due to the fact that I lost a lot of weight right before I became pregnant. Suppose they just don't want me to have a huge baby.Quote:

They are concerned about your weight gain?? It's so hard to watch it I find, my doc has mentioned mine a couple times too, I've gained 35lbs so far. Oh right right, I remember that issue well at least you braved the cold cause the pics look great!
Thanks pearl and Jadis! I don't feel like I look fab but if you ladies insist, lol. I just finished my glucose screen and boy was that a sugar rush! I came back home and drank some water and I feel much better. I am getting ready to meet the new pediatrician at noon so I'm pretty excited. Switching because they have evening and weekend hours and they come highly recommended by two friends of mine. We were beginning to not like the new doctor at our current practice so it was time anyway.
Oh yeah...cvd I would have thought you would already be doing the every 2 week thing but hey as long as you are progressing nicely then I suppose it isn't necessary. I just like to go so I can find out how big Joelle has grown and to hear her heart of course :-) I would imagine you will probably start going every 2 weeks and then every week beginning at 36 weeks?
Ah yes! I'm an hour east Toronto and we had snow too yesterday!!! My husband even got stuck in traffic cause of a car accident on his way to work yesterday! At least today is nicer. Yep they are concerned but I wonder if she is measuring big. The midwife didn't say but she just mentioned my 40 pound gain and I guess because I have 11 weeks to go at a pound a week...she is concerned. She did mention that it is likely due to my massive weight loss right before getting pregnant.

She also said baby is growing fabulously!!! She thinks 8lbs by my c-section! I have gained 37lbs so I'm over the "recommended" gain but I'm not bothered, I eat healthy as a horse so it's just meant to be that way. I'm starting to get nervous/excited/scared/anxious!!!! Booking my last prenatal has really made things seem a lot more real. 46 MORE DAYS!!! :cheer:
Awww Bama I'm sorry dear. My co worker failed her one hour also but she did fine during the 3 hour. It's the waiting that is the part that kills you. I did mine Wednesday but I won't have results until next Tuesday. The nurse said if they don't call then I am good to go. I already pre registered but I have to pay a $750 co pay before delivery so I am working on that. I already did the tour too and my son loved it! He keeps asking if we are going to the "hos-pickle". Too hilarious. My due date is the 20th so it will be interesting to see how close we are. I think my little girl is coming before June 20th though. And yes the hospital bag is packed. I know I am not on here much but I had my 20 week ultrasound and we are having a healthy baby girl! I was so sure it was a boy--everything pointed to a boy and I will no longer believe that conceiving on the day of O will lead to a boy, that a low heart rate means boy, that dreams are accurate, that a different pregnancy means a different sex, etc etc. Not that I believed all those things but all OWTs pointed to a boy while I passed the time. You just never know!
Also, I conceived 2 weeks after a chemical pregnancy. I had more CM than ever and a higher sex drive with multiple O's during my fertile time. We dtd 2 days before O and again on O day...I really just wanted to know I was carrying a healthy baby but the girl news was an added bonus! Hope you all are well!
