ash thats so funny :) you can totally rock a natural birth if its what you want :) ask what other pain med options they have and talk it through with them see what they suggest! it may be that they approach a non-epidural birth very differently, keeping the room calmer/quieter/low lights/use of the pool of you want it etc.. its worth knowing your options if the epidural hasn't been the best fit for you in the past
plus its your 5th baby and you've had 4 normal deliveries already.. baby's gonna be out in like 2.4 seconds ;)

4blue2pink my babies have all been super small and I'm trying to hold this one in until after Christmas so he/she could be a bit bigger and that scares me [emoji15]!

Ash- How big are your babies usually? How many weeks do you typically go into labor at? All my babies were bigger except my daughter she was 7 pounds. My first son was 8 pounds 13 ounces he was the biggest and that was the most painful of all my deliveries. I will say that no matter the size of the baby they all hurt but if you can walk through the contractions or sit on a birthing ball that helps a lot and try to breath as calmly as you can when you have contractions it really helps. Also have your husband rub your back where it hurts. And definitely the worst type of delivery pain for me was having to lay in bed to push them out. With my daughter I was allowed to be on my hands and knees and it was by far the least painful quickest and easiest delivery of them all. I definitely prefer no epidural the recovery for me anyway is way quicker. When it gets really painful you are almost there and they come out quickly. My daughter took 2 pushes and she was out. And the labor lasted about 5-6 hours total from beginning of contractions to her being out. Since this is your 5th child it should go quickly.

Ok oops, hit send by accident, I was going to say that I was excited to find that website with a good price!
Busy day, my good friend stopped by with her 5 month baby girl & OMG she had the cutest baby boho chic outfit with the cutest bow & the cutest socks! Maybe holding a precious baby girl will bring me some luck lol [emoji166] Then we visited my mom's house for awhile & I picked up my maternity clothes that she was storing for me yay!
Ash-I remember you saying that you were taking an expensive medicine-is that supposed to help you keep your baby in longer or am I confused?

Momoffourboyz my first tried to come at 34 weeks and with meds and bed rest we got him held off till 39 he was 6lb13oz 2nd had iugr and I was induced at 37 he was 5lb 9oz third was 35 weeks he was 5lb 2oz and fourth came at 36w6d and was 5lb 11oz surprisingly my fourth hurt the worst because he came out sideways! Thanks for the tips! Maybe I can do it mine usually come out with a couple pushes also.
Lola yes I am having to start weekly progesterone shots next visit and they're supposed to help you not have contractions. I will take them from 16w-36w. Luckily I had no side effects last pregnancy so hopefully it's the same this time. Yay for maternity clothes I sold all mine [emoji30]. I'm really considering a pair of belly bandit leggings for this winter and a pair of wallflower mat. Jeans and I think I'll be Set.

Ash- Oh my goodness they were tiny babies! Mine all stayed in until the 40th week or over. I did everything to get labor started at 37 weeks but it wouldn't start until they were ready to come out. I can't imagine sideways, ouch. My daughter was facing the wrong way when she was coming out but it was surprisingly still less painful than laying in bed with that pressure on my back. For me the back pain is what is the worst.

Ash-little babies! Hope the shots help! I'm hope to not spend too much $ on maternity clothes. In an ideal world, I'd like to spend it on a girl instead haha.

aww ash they are dinky :) mine have been a bit of a mixed bag weight-wise,
number 1 40 weeks 6lbs 8oz
number 2 39 weeks 5lbs 15oz (suspected IUGR)
number 3 39 weeks 7lbs 15oz
number 4 40 weeks 7lbs 2oz
number 5 40 weeks 7lbs 14oz
number 6 40 weeks 7lbs 14oz
oddly both my girls were the same weight.
bigger baby honestly doesnt equal more pain, fingers crossed this one stays in a while longer for you :) i reckon if you go to 39/40 weeks youd be looking at about 7lbs
