Thanks for the warm welcome :).....I am armed with my pH strips...bahahaha....I going to track my cm and pH as soon as this iud is removed...Hubby already thinks I am crazy and its about to get worst....lol....I am going to try my best with the girl diet...I have been losing weight since Jan using Bio Slim nutiret drink thats high in fiber, so i guess I am going to have to stop that and follow a strict girl diet ....well as strict as I can....I have already started skipping breakfast....thast a hard one for me...I get so crabby when I am hungry...lol....I will try and do everything I can to finally get a girl...this is my last baby...

OK ladies....I have a question about using my opk....I have had my IUD for almost 2 years and I dont get AF, once its removed when should I start testing? I guess I better wait until I actually get an AF and go from there....I always use to have a 29 day cycle and ovulated around day 13 to 15.....Another question, I am full of them today.....once you get a + on the opk how long do I wait before I try my sway....With both boys I just checked my cm and when i had the ewcm we always baby danced...lol or we just did it frequently all month...I am so scared to screw this up....Please help :$

Ladybug, I feel your pain!!! It was super hard for me to skip breakfast, and still is!! I get very cranky too when Im hungry and everybody around me feels my wrath! Lol This is my last shot too so I was willing to try whatever I could!! You get used to the diet after a couple of weeks and then its not so bad as long as you dont surround yourself with food all the time that you cant eat!!! Good luck!

I had an IUD as well but I still had spotting during my period. Though I really couldnt tell when I was O because I didnt get EWCM, just crampy. I do remember after I had it removed last year, sometime after I started having tons of EWCM at O, which I had never done before even prior to my IUD! Im not sure, do you have to have a noticeable AF to O?? You dont have any spotting or anything?
To your next question, there is a forum on here about timing your cutoff thats really helpful! If you are doing a cutoff, you really dont want to DTD after or when you get a definite + OPK, because that would be pretty close to O. Chart your testing and cm and that for a couple of months until your attempt and you can usually tell when youre going to O unless its very irregular! What I did personally, was watch the fade pattern in my OPKs! I had taken pictures of lasts months where they started to fade as it got closer to O and then the day of O when it was a true +. Then this month for my attempt I DTD when it was almost +, I was aiming for a 2 day cut off! Pay close attention and study those OPKs and watch how the line changes and its good to take pics and you can look back and compare or just keep them!! Thats what I did for next month!
EWCM is more boy friendly because its alkaline!! So it would be ideal to make your attempt before it turns EW, unless youre like me and get EW like 5 days in advance! Then thats when you can take Zytec or Sudafed to dry it up and drinks lots of Crystal Light! Your supplements and diet help to dry it up as well! If you are doing the lime douche, that it for drying it up as well! But Atomic says you have to have a little to keep the sperm alive, and youre body is always producing more! So just try to keep the EWCM to a minimum! I used Rephresh for my attempt and it lowers your pH and everything it somes in contact with to around 4.5! So that helped lower the pH of my EWCM, because I did have a little. It also lowers the pH of the semen when DTD, so you dont have to keep trying to lower your pH until O!!

Thank you so much prayingforaprincess.....That makes total sense.....I do have ewcm with the iud and I can usually tell when my AF would normally arrive by the cramping and I have been tracking that for months using fertility friend....Sounds like you had a great sway attempt I am praying yout get your BFP and your baby girl finally :)

I'd like to see what it says for me! the one I went by was right on all 3 DS and my sister's DS and my cousin's DD. Ldybug, feel your pain. My boys think my pH tester is a lighter for the candles in my bathroom! I haven't done anything OWT but i did get a manicure and pedicure on O day for the ions and I made sure to have bright pink polish for good luck:)

I just spent 3 hours writing out all the info I've collected from these forums, in a word document. Yowsa. It's a lot to take in! I have more dairy in my fridge than I ever thought possible....and I'll be dropping some cash on opk's, preg tests, and pH meter really soon. Where did you guys buy your stuff? What pH reader do you have?
I'm still waiting on my AF....I never thought I would want her back so bad! LOL
I'm a little nervous about starting this diet and falling off the wagon when we go on holidays in 2.5 weeks....but again I'm scared that if we want to just go for it after April is up...we won't be able to TTC if I haven't been on this diet for awhile.
I think I'm also stupidly hopeful that my reading from Sister H. was correct. She gave me an incredibly detailed reading, told me I had 3 boys...described my passions, boys, family life, hubby's job, my homebirths and labours, my long pregnancies to a tee...and then went on to tell me that she see a girl for my final child. And there was NO info online for her to gather. I was shaking for hours after I read it. I hate to rely on a psychic's reading...but I can't help but hope she's right. she also said I would be pregnant in Feb or really soon.....but she often get's the conception and birth date turned around so she said I could be due in Feb....well...that would mean I'd be pregnant in May:) LOL! What's that term? When a person makes the psychic correct by doing exactly what she/he said she would do?? LOL Who knows!

Hi ladies, I have a couple of questions if anyone has a chance to answer. I'm preparing my sway at the moment, I'm starting the diet in may. I'm really have a dilemma about ace-jel, is anyone using it, is it worth it? I was just going to use rephresh as I liked the idea of it not being stressful but now I'm not so sure. Aci-jel is expensive but I'll get it if it's worth it. Also is anyone using saw palmetto? What are your experiences of it? Thank you! I'm following all of your journeys and keeping my fx we all get pink!!!

Glittergirl, I cant remember which one it was we used at work! I just looked at the one I looked at before and I forgot the site that quickly!! I think it was chinesebirthcalendar.org maybe! Its beige colored and has a chinese drawing and tells the story of how the calendar came to be and why they used it. I was wrong about next month, it says boy for me, then girl girl! But I looked at several and theyre all different!!

Ok I read the other day that your BBT stays up when youre pregnant instead of going back down before AF...well my temp at O is usually 97.7-97.9, it hasnt gotten any higher......I havent been able to temp the last couple of mornings, but I did this morning and it was 98.2!!! Do yall think its an early pregnancy sign??!!! Dang that makes me want to test but Im only 4 dpo!!! Lol
