I had a luteal phase of 10 days which yes, is the short side of normal, but many doctors will tell you 10 days isn't great. Fertility friend calculates this for me so not sure re your other post question.
My fertility specialist said he prefers 12-14 day luteals though as 10 can be too short for implantation to be adequate before the lining begins to degrade.
I know this is true for me as I've been pregnant 3 times and lost it super early.
Then I tried soy iso and it extended my luteal to 12 days for 2 cycles then 13 days, but that cycle I o'd really late on cd24 and the cycle ended up being 37 days.
I spot from af to o, not usually between o and af. Apparently this is unusual.
This is all only a problem because I've been TTC over a year. So obviously the luteal and spotting could be culprits. This is my first cycle on clomid so hopefully it will extend my luteal. It hasn't stopped the spotting but I'm not sure if the fertility specialist wanted it to or not. He was more concerned with my luteal.
