After 6 months of BFN, I am starting to think that it is prob. best to drop it anyway.

How much LR are they supposed to take? I started my DH on it this cycle but only gave him one pill a day...
Just looked on the bottle and they are 450mg/pill. Should I give him two from today for the next 7 days?
Atomic did you get my message? :)
THe proper dose on LR is 450 mg 3x a day from AF-CD 14. But if you give him smaller amounts than that, it's still ok and will only help
For us it's only been 3 cycles of BFN as I've taken 3 months off of TTC over the course of those 6 months! On cycle #4 of TTC right now and feeling lucky! DH did not take the LR on our months off, so this is only his 4th month on it. We never did the full 3 capsules a day, just 2.
But yes, for anyone else who's been trying continuously for 6 months with LR I'd say drop it as well.
Still searching for info on ole. Is it used for same purpose as lr? To lower testosterone? Same possible side effects?
My dh is 38, decent health, average weight, have gotten prego on first try for four kids, and decent sex drive. Would you suggest lr or ole? Don't want to do both. Think I can get him to drink diet coke since he's a soda drinker or would zertec help ph? He has seasonal allergies. Af should be here in a few days. Do you take ole from af-o?
Thanks
I answered this in another thread.
If you guys have questions it is SO much easier for me for you to simply start a new thread and ask your question than to go around bumping a bunch of old threads. I try very hard to answer all threads and it takes time for me to even just open and shut a thread without replying to it.
So which is better for ttc girl- olive leaf or cranberry? What happens if DH takes both?
don't have him take both, since they're both blood thinners it may cause serious side effects if he takes both.
We don't know which is better. Two different groups of people take them, and since one group may be more "set" for pink than the other, it skews the results. I generally use cranberry for guys up to about 35 in good health with no medical or sperm health issues, and OLE for older guys, men with health probs or on medication that interacts with cran, or with poor sperm health.
