Much appreciate Atomic  I purchased 21 meal plan for blue as well, starting on it right away.
Hi Atomic, I am interested in a custom plan but I am unsure where to start. I am not a Dream Member yet so do I buy that first or how does that work?
AT the top of this page is a blue box marked membership and plans. Click that and it takes you to our options.
You do not need to be a Dream Member to get a plan. :)
Hi Atomic,
I've heard high testosterone level increases odds of conceiving a boy. How true is that? Secondly, DH is considering increasing his testosterone using testosterone booster tablets. What is your opinion on the following product as a testosterone booster:
ULTIMATE NUTRITION
Thanks!
It may be true, but we have found that it is best to use the most natural and healthy ways to enable the body to make its own testosterone instead. People who use artificial methods to inflate testosterone unnaturally seem to have overwhelmingly more girls, so it does not seem to be male testosterone levels alone that sways.
I do not want anyone taking tribulus, there is too much conflicting information about how it works.
Hi atomic I am finally over the MC and have decided to go for one more try in August ideally but ok with September/ October as well. I just completed my plan questionnaires and the only thing I forgot to mention is that from mid June to mid July (30 days ) we will be fasting sunrise to sunset. So if u feel August is bad to attempt based on this fasting period I can do later otherwise August is ideal for me to ttc.
I have it and I have done plans for people who were doing the fasting program. My inclination is for you to wait one month and start in Sept. instead but we'll get right to work so we can build up as much muscle as possible before then, so you won't lose much. :)
Sounds good thanks
atomic do the custom plans come with any meal plans ? i did not purchase the 21 day meal plan separately.
I kind of formulated a meal plan for myself and was wondering if you could take a look at it and see if it is nutritionally balanced or not.
or do u recommend i purchase the 21 day meal plan ?
They come with a pretty basic plan (the blue one is more thorough than the pink one, really) but YES of course I will look at it! Send it in a message or post under the thread where your questionnaire is.
The 21 day meal plan, I believe is helpful (or I wouldn't be trying to sell it to people LOL) but totally at your discretion.
I cant seem to locate the thread so I will message it to you. Let me know when you get it.
Thanks a bunch !
I will message you with the link.
got it .... i will take a look at these resources as well. But i did PM you my daily meal plan do let me know what you think.
Thanks !
first thing tomorrow ok???
Oh yes plz take ur time
Hi atomic, I was just wondering if you do personalised plans for diet, exercise, supplements and any other general info for ladies going ht? I've seen your plan for swaying pink for those who may go ht but I'm definitely going ht so thought I'd ask if there's anything totally geared to that route? Thanks
Xx
No, but I help you guys in the forums however I can. :)
For HT, a lower carb (but not TOO low, don't cut carbs all together) diet with lots of colorful fruit and berries, and nuts, with whole grains or even gluten free is best. Lower or eliminate processed foods.
Mod exercise is always good but don't overdo. 4-5 days a week.
Supps - they help you with that in the HT section and know far more than I!!
Thanks atomic! Xx
Atomic any updates on my plan ? and I did post a question about exercise in the other form if u could take a look
Yes it's done, I think I saw it is posted today. I am going to move the diet question into the same thread with your plan so we can have it all together under one roof.
Ok
It has been posted.
Do you offer money back if the plan fails? Also, I read somewhere on here that said a good plan could sway 80%! Is that true in your opinion?
No we do not offer money back because we are very upfront with the fact that swaying is not an exact science and we cannot make any guarantees. All we can do is provide you with all of the knowledge we have one the subject AND the personal support is worth every penny that we charge for the plan if you are truly doing to give it your best shot. We have no control over what each of you actually do with the recommendations we set forth. If you want a guarantee, I would look into IVF because that is the only way to guarantee anything and even they don't offer money back if you end with with no embryos of the desired gender to transfer! Don't get caught up in the percentages. Most of you are at 0% success if you have all of the same gender- so the stat I last saw of 66% is pretty darn good compared to the 0% most of you come to us with. We use stats to notice trends- it does not actually represent our member base as a whole because we have thousands of people that never post and just lurk.
No, the money is for my time and help and not any kind of guarantee. Swaying is in NO WAY a guarantee (if it was ever possible to ensure 100% gender selection, the whole human race probably would have died out a long time ago because the human race "needs" about 50-50 boys and girls to survive.)
While I believe that it is possible to sway gender a considerable amount (possibly up as high as 80% for boys, 75% for girls) I want you to focus on the LOWEST number instead of the best case scenario. Go in expecting the worst (which is 60-65% for pink, 70-75% for boys) and make your decision based on that.
Those of us with 3-4-5 of the same gender have a lifestyle that strongly supports the conception of one gender vs. the other. Our odds are not 50-50 to start with. My thinking when I was swaying both DS 4 and DD, was that if I could do something to get to 50-50, I'd take the flip of the coin at that point, because after 3 boys, my chances just "doing what I do" were probably much lower than 50-50!
Hi,
I am a 39 year old single woman who will be using frozen donor sperm via IUI to try to conceive my first child.
Because I am older I worry if I have a son he'll have Autism, and I worry it may be harder on a son to have no father figure, so I would like to try to sway girl.
I also have Hashimoto's Hypothyroidism and high estrogen, which I believe is why my weight is about 10 lbs higher than I want.
I was going to go in for IUI this month but I found this site and could put off the IUI for one month to try a plan. I was told I would need a custom plan. I was told to ask on the forum on what steps to take next.
I definitely want to do IUI next month as I'll be 40 in September and also I think my fertility tests expire in July.
Hi Caroline,
At 39, we don't have the time to spend waiting for a plan so if you do want to go that route, I will bump you up to the front of the line and get you your plan right away. I DO NOT want you to postpone the IUI at 39 for any reason! I wouldn't even have you do much besides diet and exercise, and a couple of supps, because a lot of the stuff we do is not going to work with the IUI.
In the following thread I have an alternate diet called "atomic fertility diet" (it is 5 from the top and can be done by anyone, I just put it in this thread for the sake of convenience because most people who use it have PCOS) and I think you should follow it with the variant for people who are going HT for a girl.
All right, thanks for the answer! I will check out the thread.
Haha yes it would help if I actually posted it, sorry. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...rt-3-pcos.html
My point really was that I am not even sure you NEED a plan. If you want one, I'm happy to do one and I will bump you ahead, but I feel a little bit like I'll be taking your money for something that will not be a super huge benefit to you (although the coaching would come with it meaning you'd always get your questions answered within 24 hours).
If you were to want to go that route, the link to buy is here http://genderdreaming.com/forum/payments.php
Yes, I'll probably buy one because I will be doing the IUI in June, my nurse said it's ok and that gives me time to wean off the anxiety meds I'm on. I'll buy it when I get back from the store.
Thanks! :)
Since I can use the atomic diet, I suppose the only thing I would need to know about is exercise and supplements. Would I need to purchase a plan for that?
Thanks in advance!
No, I can help you in the forums with that.
The only advantage of a sway plan for someone in your situation is the coaching that comes with it. I would just not feel right accepting your money without you going in with the understanding that much of what we do won't apply to you.
I'd def. have you doing the exercise 60 min. 6-7 days a week if you can.
RE supplements, we have some discussion to do because most people take very little in the way of supplements (we all take folic acid, of course). You may have lowered odds of conception with IUI and I am torn what approach to take, because I don't want you to have to go thru many rounds of IUI to fall pregnant when we can take some supplements that may help up your odds of conception, but possibly could sway blue. What are your thoughts?
Thanks for looking out for me about the money, because as a single woman I do need to save where I can.
Well my plan is that if I don't conceive from an IUI, I will get my eggs frozen. I don't want to do multiple IUIs, not only can I not really afford it but I don't feel like I have the time. I will want to get my eggs frozen for future IVF before I turn 40 if the IUI doesn't work.
I don't mind if the supplements could help me sway blue if it would help my fertility. Thanks again for your help!
Would you ever consider an egg donor?
Just giving it to you straight, your body doesn't know about birthdays and so on and your eggs are in a gradual state of decline from birth on. So really there's not a ton of difference between your eggs at 39 and your eggs at 40. But, all that having been said we're going to just hope that this is an academic conversation and the IUI will work.
What I would do is have you take a brand name prenatal without megadoses of anything, but we will take megadoses of folic acid (I would have you take 2000 mcg and folate is better than folic) and vit. D 1000 IU total (including that in your prenatal). WHen I was TTC at 39/41 I just took Women's one a day, not fancy but it has a wide array of nutrients and already has the 1000 Vit. D in it.
Add in a pregnancy DHA supp and Coq10 (ubiquinol form best) 400-600 mg
If you do not have thyroid problems and if your prenatal does not have iodine, I would add in 150 IU of iodine.
Coq10 should be weaned off gradually at BFP.
Folate continued till end of first trimester then gradually weaned.
Other supps are ok to continue thru pregnancy.
oh and if you do end up freezing your eggs let me know as there are some supps that are ok to take if you won't be pregnant that month. (things that help egg quality but may not be best if you will actually be pg in the same month as egg retrieval)
All right, thanks for the information, I really appreciate it!
Sorry for taking a while to get back, I was very busy yesterday and today.
I have tried prenatal vitamins in the past and they gave me bad nausea. Is there any kind of tips to help with that?
I too hope the IUI just works, I am certainly praying for that! :)
And yes, I would consider donor eggs if my own become unable to be used.
