Welcome kitkat and dreaming to the 2WW. As for me, 5DPO and no symptoms at all...not even sore nips like I had the last two months. For me that is actually promising, but given my bad timing (4 days before O) I'm trying not to get my hopes up. I know I will be crushed to lose the last opportunity for a 2014 baby. :(

Hi all!
Catching up for a few days absence and see that som of you have BFP:s!! Congratulations!!
I have gotten the flu of my life; haven't had this high fever ever as a adult I think. Between 39-40 degrees celsius (202-204 F) and it just doesn't go down, not even very much with paracetamol.
I started googling and it seems that high fever is not good during implantaton, it can increase risk of e g authism and other stuff. So I would really want to get fever down, but since we made an attempt before we fell sick I don't wanna take just any medications that are to be avoided when ttc.
I guess my body isn't really in optimal shape of getting pregnant right now, but if it wold attach (against all odds), I don't wanna ruin anything.
I am now 4 dpo so I hope that an eventual egg is still floating around for a few days, I tell myself it's ok as long as it is travelling around and not attatching. That would give me another few days to get better. Anyone know anything about this (fever/risks/medications etc).
Also haven't done exercise (of course) and haven't been able to eat more than a cup of yoghurt here and there during these days. The only thing I would really LIKE to eat now is cereal. I know thats a big nono for ttc girl, but if a bowl of corn flakes is the only thing I have during the day, would it still be blue?

sorry to hear you are not well marika. On the cereal i think you should just have it - when sick like this you need to put your health first and you do need to eat something. If this is the only thing you can keep down then you should have it IMO. Its not like you are eating normally and then having cereal on top of that.

Marika, first I hope that you feel better soon. I ate a bowl of cereal last night. I think my allergies are acting up, fever, chills, (which happens to me) and etc. I took so much medicine just to feel better by the end of the night it was that or a supreme pizza that my dh had delivered.
So exciting about all the BFP's!
I'm excited since I got a smiley face on the digital OPK this morning but haven't seen an equally dark line on the analog test yet. This happened last month too and I'm thinking maybe I will test the analog ones again tonight and make sure not to pee for 4 hours before that time. I guess either way ovulation is going to be happening soon. I would so LOVE for this to be the month to get pregnant. I miss snacking really bad!

DH and I decided to attempt this month so I'm now 7dpo, our sway wasn't the greatest (in particular my diet) but we would love another christmas baby :bigsmile: if it doesn't work this month we will have a two month break, get out sway well underway and then keep trying and hope we get lucky
I am so tempted to start poas, I swear it's more addictive than smoking :rofl: but I'm going to try not to until 9dpo (Friday) I have sooo many symptoms but I know that doesn't mean anything really

I haven't got any cheapies to test with at the mo, and told DH to hide the CB digital!

Kitkat, this is my 4th cycle TTC.
Marika, plain corn flakes without vitamins are girl friendly if you can find them. If not, one day won't hurt especially if you're not eating much otherwise. Get better soon! I have read that being sick can actually improve chances of pregnancy by encouraging implantation, so I hope that is what happens for you.

This may sound like a silly question, but how to know your EDD on the Internet if you have a late ovulation for the fisrt time!?:confused:

I searched pregnancy calculator on Google and found one that lets u put in the day that u ovulated and ur lp.
Cool, just used it, and it said 22/12/14 but we'll see how it turns out at the first u/s.
Lol, I haven't had a BFP yet and already thinking about a first u/s, WTH!

Yeah I think ur right. It just gives us an idea of EDD.
All you need to know is O day. I use babycenter.com 's DD calculator. EDD12/26 here, blech!
I'm 6-7 DPO and trying to resist the urge to test...maybe on Saturday. I think the due date would be off for me because my LP is only 10-11 days, not 14. And I have a 30 day cycle every time which is also not "normal." Usually I calculate it myself and then give the midwife my "LMP" that would have her come up with the right date. I bet it sounds crazy though. :)
Well I'm CD 14 , got a positive OPK today and we had been attempting pretty much every single night until tonight we are just too exhausted from moving and everything so hopefully all of our other times will stick a bean for us.

LP length doesn't affect your DD. But it is a good idea to count back 14 days from your O and to give that as LMP. Mine would be so off otherwise, considering I Oed on CD28!

Thanks for your kind advice on the cereal - I had a bowl of regular corn flakes with skimmed milk and it was good. There was nothing else I could think of eating...
Went to the doctors today since fever is still high and it turned out I have a bacterial infection that needs antibiotics. I wanted to scream in the room - "NOO - my sway!" but didn't of course but asked him twice if it was really really neccessary and yes, it was.
So now what? How long do they sway blue for me? I'm right now at 5 dpo and supposed to take them for 9 or 10 days. It's Doxycykline if anyone knows of it.

Marika, I think given that if you are pregnant, sex has already been determined and will implant very soon, the antibiotics shouldn't mess with this month's attempt. You MAY want to skip next month depending on what Atomic thinks or how strict you wish to be. B

I am super excited for you ladies to start testing and hopefully getting BFP's!!!
7-8 DPO so I broke down and tested....I think it may be a line! A super super faint line, can't even get it to show up on a picture. I've got my hopes way up now, eek! Can't wait until tomorrow to see if it gets an darker....it could wait two more days for a real difference.
