I did terribly today. I didn't skip eating after I woke up. I had chocolate ice cream then nachos with greasy homemade corn chips, beans and cheese.
I suck at this so bad! Haha! But...I haven't had anything since then...hmm...

That's ok Lissa. Just get back on track today.
So far today:
Grande Starbucks iced coffee with cream and sugar free vanilla
Lunch: plain beagle with plain cream cheese. Cut up cucumber and cherry tomatoes to put ontop. It was so good! Then I had a mini ice cream cone.
Not sure what I'm going to make for dinner.
I just ordered my personalized sway plan so I can get the ball rolling myself. Only 2 months left until my attempt and I feel like my eating has been so boy friendly.
Yesterday was
Coffee 4 cups morning
Lunch at 11am egg whites and hot sauce with 1/2 avacado
Some light cheese with it
I snacked with Ritz crackers before dinner.
Chicken breast for dinner with soft tortillas with peppers and pineapple
Sliced cucumbers with vinager and feta and Tzakeki sauce
Late night snack was dairy Queen blizzard (icecream )
And a bowl of light salt and pepper popcorn.
Even reading this I am cringing. So bad

I have your questionnaires, Robin! Thank you!
I started the PCOS version today so this morning I had two cups of coffee with Splenda and splash of creamer. For lunch I'm having brown rice with asparagus, salad, coconut water, brown cow yogurt, and a graham cracker with whipped p-but butter. Dinner will be wasa crisps with marinara and mozzarella, a small sweet potato, egg whites and some moscato (definitely looking forward to that). I hope we all do well on the diet and get our DD:fx:
I've had a pretty good week so far. My husband made a vegan chickpea peanut stew which is a tad high on fat and protein but can fit within limits if the rest of the day is lowish. I've been having that for lunch with a salad or rice bowl with veggies for supper the last few days.
hi ladies its been awhile since i post something, well been struggling with the LE diet finally am doing it, no breakfast(sometimes i cheat n eat around 9 or 10.00).minimizing my meat intake twice a week just small amount, usually lunch and dinner pasta or rice, chocolate in the middle, coffee aswell with milk, no excercise except walking n running around with my beautiful boys, little wine once or twice a week(its a big change for me, not big fun of wine but anything to get my girly) that all, what do u think ladies am i doing ok ? any suggestions? please need ur help
I would drop the chocolate if you can live without it for a few months. Other than that it looks good. You don't HAVE to have pasta and rice everyday if you find yourself getting sick of it, you could have anything if you can make it fit within limits. Also I don't think it has to be wine if you don't like it. I try to drink a bit of alcohol regularly and it's often a shot of hard liquor because I find it easier than a whole glass of wine.
Fav new lunch to share with you:
2 low fat tortilla wraps
Salad
Cheddar 30g
Finely chop lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, spring onions and coriander leaves. Stick in a bowl and drizzle with lime juice, add black pepper and some chili flakes. Leave for a few mins to merge. Put half in each wrap, add the grated cheddar cheese and fold up! Yummy!
Came to 434 cals, 13g fat, 16g protein
Yesterday I ate way too much grated cheddar on my supper and was way over limits. Sigh. Guess I'll call it a cheat day. Today I'm probably good. I basically just ate white rice and beans for lunch and dinner (leftovers, fridge is nearly empty). I might go eat a waffle with a bit of peanut butter before bed.
I've been way under on everything, despite having a 4th small snack. I guess I needed it!
My DH is gone at a conference for 5 days, and even though I have my In-Laws to help me, things have been a bit stressful. I don't eat much during this type of stress. My milk supply is fine, thank goodness! Hopefully it translates to more weight loss!
Keep up the good work ladies! We can do this!!

Love the support in these forums :-)
Hi All
Hope it's ok I join in here. I've just started the LE diet in preparation for TTC in October. I've gained a lot of weight in the past year, so probably good timing to get that under control also!
I noticed Walmart sells the Shiratake Miracle noodles in store now if anyone was searching for those.I could only find soy noodles around here so I'm excited lol
Hey i just wanted to mention that since I can't always keep up with these support threads, when you have a specific question on diet stuff, please start a thread so I can reply. I was involved in a couple ongoing q's on this thread but I'm gonna stop reading it now, so please don't forget to start a thread so I can answer your q's.
Well just come back from a weeks hols to Cyprus and I did so well with diet. Just coffee for breakfast, a brown roll with light cheese, a pkt of rice crisps and a mango for lunch. Then a different salad each night for dinner. I had sushi salad two nights, prawn salad one night then just different fruits and cheeses on salads the rest of the time. I had two cheats of apple pie with a scoop of ice cream but that's it. We walked every night for a least an hour and I swam around the pool for an hour three nights too. Was so dreading that I would cheat but it was rather easy as we were in a hotel so I only ate what I ordered. Just weighed myself and I lost a lb, I do think that it's probably because it was so hot I sweat it off!
I was wondering about you frillylady and also glittermouse. Welldone on the diet and exercise on holidays, I just had pizza, I needed a cheat. Not looking forward to inputting it into mfp!
When are you attempting? We had or one attempt on Thursday am, but because am unsure of o am moving to e4d' s so attempting tomorrow morning!
I've been doing soo good on the diet until today. I'm home visiting family for the next two weeks. Today was a total bust. Anyone have any tips on how to stay in the diet on vacation without causing too much attention!?
Doing ok girlieplease I just needed to step away from things for a while. Our next attempt is Thursday I think, good luck with yours.
I know what you mean navywife I'm a big fish eater and when I visit family they have always made me something special. I just put plenty on my plate of what we can eat so it looks like I'm eating plenty and I've even put things on my hubbies plate so I don't cheat!
LE ladies! These dinners are very delish! And she now offers "light & lean" versions of the original. Highly recommend the veggie lasagna. Got mine at sprouts!

Thanks for sharing Linz. I always have Amy's Organic, dairy free bean and rice burrito for breakfast. They're really good.
I eat Amy's a lot too. Rice and bean burrito is my go-to lunch when I don't have any leftovers to bring to work.
finially i'm getting along very well with LE diet yeeeee hope i stick to it. even i started drinking coffee n i like it. would like to thank to all u ladies and atomic:DD::DD::hug2:
The other night I struggled and ended up scoffing pizza. Afterwards I kept saying to myself "I want a baby girl more than I want a pizza". Hopefully this new mantra will keep me strong!
And yes I know I could have a pizza as long as it's in my totals but this was on top of my carefully selected LE meals for the day!
Ok so today I'm having lunch in a pub with friends so there'll be lots of calories and few veggie options, but I'll choose one anyway. Knowing that the lunch will be fatty I'll have a buckwheat/pearl barley veg salad for dinner. Filling and low fat
I seem to be living off salad pittas or roast veg at the moment. I found some mushroom and spinach kievs in Waitrose which I had last night with my roast veg and it was very tasty. Need more ideas for pcos meals because when I get bored I cheat! Having a quesadilla made with corn wraps and pizza sauce for dinner, I'll probably add mushrooms, onions and a little mozzerella to them. My little cheat after dinner is always a Soreen squidgy cake mini in either toffee or chocolate. For lunch I've been having two slices of wholegrain toast with a spread of lighter butter and a large piece of water melon. Next attempt is any time now so I'm being super strict and it's killing me!
So how long am I supposed to be going between meals? How many hours?

And why do we have to be on the diet for a long time in order for it to be more effective? I would think that by doing it hardcore around the time of ovulation and maybe a week before would have the same effect?
I need to be enlightened!

Overnight fast of 12-16 hours, so 12-15 hours from last meal until the first meal of the day. Between meals, basically as long as you can. Obviously if you need 3 meals two of them will be closer together. The main thing is no snacking and a long overnight fast.

It takes time for the changes we are making to our body to register that maternal condition has been lowered. Both on this site and with the Trivers Willard Hypothesis, 12 weeks on the diet is the sweet spot.
If it only took a week of hardcore dieting, the whole human race would have long died out and everyone would have their desired gender. When we are changing our environment, we have to do so slowly to keep ovulation still going while at the same time signaling to our bodies that "times are tough".

Well. I haven't been doing it for long enough so I guess my efforts are wasted. Sigh. I keep hoping that being a vegetarian will push me over to where I want to go! At this point I am just sending out intentions into the universe. Haha!

If you've been vegetarian for awhile, that would count! I would TTC and just work on limiting snacks.
I, for example, used to eat a lot of meat and did big time while I was pregnant. Even though I had my DS3 7.5 months ago, I have to be more strict than you. There are loads more nutrients in meats that sway blue much more than any healthy vegetarian meals have.
You are more set for pink than you realize I would bet!

That is so good to hear! I have been a strict vegetarian (no meat at all) for over a year now! But the snacking is just my potential downfall.
You have been so imformative and encouraging! I really appreciate it, XXforhubby [emoji8]

[emoji8] back atcha!!
This isn't my first swaying rodeo. I swayed pink when trying last time and ended up with my sweet DS3. I was my worst enemy last time. This time, I'm doing what has proven to work for most of the people most of the time- LE diet, exercise, one attempt via BDing every 4 days, coffee, alcohol, and breastfeeding with close age gap to top it off. That's it. If it doesn't work this time, then I'll be at peace knowing I wasn't my undoing!
GL to you!

Our stats show that this isn't the case. no one knows why. We speculate about the reasons if you'd like me to, but it's just that we have not had good results with the "strict 2-4 weeks" approach and have had with anything longer than 12 weeks.
This doesn't mean that what you've done has been wasted, because for all we know, our odds would ahve been even worse among the 2-4 week dieters had they not done as much as they did.
Above all else I want you to do what works for YOU. There is no magic schedule to follow, you're just trying to extend that time when you're not eating a little. Some people may prefer to do it one way, others a different way, and it will really help you stick with it if you allow yourself some flexibility on this.
