I took one to two glasses every day from when AF ended through to O. I took it the cycle I started clomid and conceived DD on Clomid cycle 3 but I had a three month break from clomid and the grapefruit juice between clomid cycle 2 and 3. Needed a break as clomid gave me extreme anxiety (I am not an anxious person at all - I'm a dance and drama teacher so I'm always on stage and performing for people and my students). Two cycles of the stuff back to back made me so paranoid and anxious about everything - large spaces, crowds, too many aisles at the shopping centre hahahaha

Oh dear! I can relate to that. Too much thyroid hormone makes me feel like that!

So how soon did you see results with the grapefruit juice? Did you see more ewcm the same cycle you took it?

Don't rush , I think it's better if you waited and it's better for the sway as well to be in diet longer !

I'm feeling very impatient today. I've waited for many years to TTC again and I'm finally gonna get a chance. The cycle is going too slow loooool. *sigh*

@cosmo - I definitely saw results the same cycle I started drinking the grapefruit juice. But I was making sure I had 1-2,glasses every day from AF to O, never missed a day.

@business - yeah I think I'm going to wait till maybe March next year possibly later.

Unfortunately I didn't start drinking until a couple of days after AF, but I'm having 3 cups daily plus Robitussin. Well see how it goes! :)

@business, why do you feel you want to delay?

I had relatives who just gave birth , and I remembered how is it like to labor and the pain , then the first month !

And lots of other things .

I can imagine how you feel, but don't let fear and past experiences make decisions for you though, perhaps this pregnancy and delivery can be different and much more empowering. You have plenty of time during pregnancy to prepare and make the changes you want to see :) check out Home - Indie Birth , maybe you can find info there that you like.

Why did you decide to TTC in the first place? Maybe going over that why will help :)

I think that's a super reasonable anxiety. We ALWAYS knew we wanted more than one kid, but pregnancy and labor are so awful, I sometimes go, "Yikes, SHOULD we just adopt?"

But then we're selfish and think about how we made our DD, who is literally perfect to us, haha. So I mean, why wouldn't we want to bring more of that into the world?

Just remember -- there ARE drugs for L&D, haha! I'm definitely going to look into that hypnobirthing when we get to that point again.

I was planning to take epidural when I was pregnant with my son, actually ، that's why I got pregnant pregnant in the first place , the idea that I can deliver without pain , but then I delivered when I was in my family's town, and they didn't have epidural "sigh"

I asked my husband today, what made you excited for having another?
He said because his sister just had a son, and this made him remember how is it like to have a new baby and all that delivery action and the excitement to have a new member in the family!!


Now only 4 weeks till my ovulation, I hope this is enough to make me forget what I felt about labor lol

at's so awesome for bre! I'm currently down and out with a terrible gastro bug. Can't hold anything down and just trying to keep fluids into me but even that comes up.
Due to start AF tomorrow or the next too just to add to my tummy bug too!

So, looks like grapefruit juice is helping. I found some stretchy cm last night and this morning. It's still white so I consider it "creamy" but my creamy cm has never been stretchy before. It is so early on for me! VERY excited! lol.

I'm not exercising at all these days u_u barely even walking. I injured myself shoveling snow (and also got a few major workouts ) and I haven't done much since. That's the only part of the sway I haven't adhered to consistently. meh.

So awesome bre! Gives me hope that I can have a boy. We've decided we'll try our first cycle in march. I'll have to get back on my HE diet seeing as I have barely eaten anything the last two days and when I did it never stayed down anyway.
Glad the grapefruit juice is working Cosmo!! I'll begin drinking it probably the cycle before my attempt.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Xmas. I hope my tummy feels better soon so I can enjoy all the food! I'm going to make sure hubby starts eating more consistently as he is a known meal skipper because he gets so busy at work.

So AF started tonight and hubby wants to try this cycle! I was like no, not keen! So we decided we'd wait for the next cycle - so first attempt probably early Feb. A month earlier than I'd like but he wants kids close in age. He's completely on board for a boy and has been on supps for about 12 weeks and sleeping naked for about 5 months and going commando to work hahahaha. I've told him hr better improve his eating habits cos he gets so caught up with work. We have six weeks holidays together at the moment so I'm trying to improve his eating. I got in the scales today...I've lost 2 kgs in 2 days from this bloody stomach flu.
How is everyone else doing?

As for me, my temp dipped this morning but opk was - last night with a light line. I don't get the 24-48 hour notice most women get. Last cycle my OPK was + the day I ovulated so I'm a bit nervous. CM is still creamy but cervix moved up high. I get EWCM the day I O in the evening and the next day lol. At least the creamy cm is workable and not so sticky as usual. Lots of preseed will be used haha. I'm just really nervous I'll get stuck with one attempt :| I have not tested this morning since my OPK instructs to wait until late morning.

DH is just like "has it been 48 hours yet?" loooooool he does not like to abstain at all. I don't blame him.

I only get a positive opk the day I ovulate too! I can do the OPK the night before on a clear blue digi and get nothing and then 24 hrs later (the day of my dip) get a solid smiley. I never get flashing Smileys which makes it hard, so I know your pain.

Since I started the supps , My ovulation delayed to CD 20 ! I usually ovulate on CD 16-17-18
Is that a good or bad thing?
I have been drinking a cup of green tea everyday
And today I noticed lots of EWCM !
I'm so going to drink it next cycle as well

My O was delayed too. I'm usually about cd16 and O'ed last cycle at cd21. I noticed lotsnof EWCM with the green tea too!! I'm still going to use the robitussin though when I have my attempt.

How's everybody's exercise been going? I've been a bit slack and haven't walked as much as I would like and really need to do some more weights! (going to start that for the next six weeks!!)

I don't really exercise, I just left weight for like 8 minutes , or squat with weights

How's everyone doing??

Only 5 days till AF ,
Things are going fast !!

I was going over my sway , I don't like most things
Im not eating enough red meat !
I let myself getting hungry a lot !
I don't exercise enough !
I still eat sugary food !

Im gaining weight though ..

So I will start changing this right away

I will eat more red meat and eggs
I will exercise daily (only 15 mins lifting)
I changed corn flakes to whole grain cereals
I will snack every 3 hours (even of I wasn't hungry I will force that food in lol)
I will add coconut water on fertility days
I will cut back sugar !!


DH is eating one real meal only (dinner when he's home after work)
He keeps skipping breakfast, and he said he doesn't have time to eat , ugh!

So I asked him to take a vacation on the week of my Ovualtion !!
Hopes that will work

Hi business, when you say sugary foods like what? Chocolate? Candy? Etc.
How many red meat meals per week would you have?
My DH is the same with only one good meals per day but lately I've been making him cereal for breakh ( so I know he eats it) and forcing some type of lunch into him. Men!!!!
I'm so sick of eating eggs. I was lucky to have them once a fortnight after two months of then like every day I'm sooooo over them!! Haha!
Does your microscope work off saliva? I have a maybe baby microscope one that never showed me as fertile no matter how much saliva I put on and I'd get a positive opk and temp to know I had ovulated but never saw "ferning" on my stupid thing.
