Jam-packed January 2WW Thread

Thanks! I am still skeptical. I'll feel better tomorrow when I can test with FMU. I still can't believe I got a positive! It was only like a 1hour hold tops after dinner! I saw a faint line after 3-5min and could definitely see it by 7-8min. Crazy!

Ugh. Now the hoping and praying everything turns out ok starts. I hate the 2WW and early pregnancy!

I have no real symptoms, which is weird for me. This has never happened before. If I am hard pressed to come up with something, I've had a stuffy nose for the past 3 days (but the weather is warming up and this is typical for me), I am a more thirsty, and I am sort of a space cadet (forgetting things but not near as bad as with DS3). The only thing that really stands out to me, is I am more emotional. I'm a tough cookie and can be on the aggressive side. My DH and I got into a disagreement last night, and I totally started crying! No one ever hurts my feelings, EVER! I don't allow it. I let it roll off and go right back to them. People can be jerks and it's not my problem- it's theirs. So looking back, letting him hurt my feelings is definitely the only real symptom I've had that can't be explained away.

100% for real! that pretty pink line looks alot like mine did with dd3 and dd4 especially! you got pregnant from a 0-2 attempt! AHHH! LOL you can say hell has frozen over for you XX!! :P

Emotionality is always a big sign for me and my pregnancies. Im more sensitive by nature but you wanna talk about crying fast and easy see me pregnant in the 2WW, lol..so id say thats a good sign XX (and if it continues you will find alot of pink expecting moms continue to be hyper emotional! all the extra girly hormones)

How many attempts did you have XX? Are you doing E3D?

I had one attempt on either O-2 or on O day, depending on when I Oed. I have NEVER conceived with O-2 or O day attempts before! We were just BDing whenever my DH wanted, which worked out to be E3D on average. I had a few EOD attempts well before O and well after O. I was just going with the flow, since we've been TTCing for 11mo and with the stress of my DS2 needing surgery and my DH being sick since October.

Or it could be O-3 and O day attempts too. Basically, I can't believe I am pregnant. With all of my children, I was only able to conceive from an O-1 attempt. Well with DS1 it just happened to work out that way, since he was a OHW.

because you normally get O-1 babies i think its safe to say you ovulate pretty quickly in your window meaning the BD on CD 14 was probably too late in the 'game' since your first pos OPK was CD 13...i think you ovulated CD14 and swimmers from O-2 got that eggie. The only alternative i see to that is you ovulated RIGHT after you and DH DTD depending on how early PM the attempt was and you had sperm met egg at exact moment type situation..but idk something tells me this was an O-2 attempt :P

because in theory ovulation on CD14 is an O-3 attempt i should specify i think you ovulated within 24 hrs of your first positive OPK on CD13 so i think eggie popped early morning CD 14 so it would still be pretty much an O-2..only YOU know for sure though because it says you had increased sex drive/O pain...those symptoms probably occured pretty close to when goldie made her move so only you know for sure if it was O day sex that got you pregnant or the sex from 24-36 hours before :)

DD3 came from O day sex..i didnt believe it because i figured if i nailed my ovulation day she had to be a boy..(shettles) But i was wrong :)
DD4 was an O-2 attempt while pretty damn blue friendly if i say so myself...:)

Were you doing anything else for pink sway (diet, etc) or just sticking to the every 3 day bd schedule?

I'd say it was the Jan 7 BD since you still had EW and your temp was still below coverline.

Thanks! I feel I Oed on the 7th too. We BDed late that night around 12:00am, and I am pretty sure I had Oed before then. I'm just shocked that I conceived from an O-3 attempt!

I was doing the LE diet (veggie version) with very little chicken and no red meat or fish. I had just come off a Clomid cycle. I stopped exercise because of my DS not breathing several time during the night while sleeping before having his surgery. I ended up drinking lots of alcohol this cycle, because I didn't think I would end up with a BFP. My SIL was home for the holidays and is a sommelier and loves to mess with my palate, haha! I started drinking caffeinated coffee midway during the previous cycle too.

Thanks so much! I haven't told him yet. I'm waiting for him to feel better. He's been sick since the beginning of October with what started as a cold/ear infection that has now morphed into a massive sinus/lung infection. I don't think he could handle hearing the news yet. He will hear that he has to support me, since my first trimesters are typically rough. He simply doesn't have the energy to do that right now. I'll tell him when he's better or on Valentine's Day, whichever comes first.

I think subconsciously he knows. He's said a few things, is real lovey (normally he's a bear when sick!), and has been experiencing morning sickness, haha!

Thanks XX, I could use all the hope and baby dust I can get. It's coming up on 2 years of TTC and sometimes feels like maybe it will never happen for us but not giving up trying yet. Does you husband take Vitamin D? I was just listening to a Dr on a podcast last week stating our Vitamin D levels are responsible for how we react to respiratory infections, MY DH has been having a sinus/cold issues for the last 4 weeks so I made him start taking Vitamin D everyday, figures it can't hurt :)

We actually heard that too, and his levels are very normal. He takes a 2,000IU supplement daily. I just feel so badly for him right now [emoji20]!

I hope your DH feels better too!

Hi ladies! Just wanted to say that I have thrown caution to the wind lol...I pretty much stopped swaying because I am putting a hold on ttc until July but during my fertile period DH and I BD almost everyday that week (except for one day) so now I'm just waiting to for another week to see if I'm pregnant. I know I diminished my chances for pink but I'm still holding out hope (that's if I'll even get pregnant this cycle). Part of me wants to be to get a BFP and another part says that if I don't get one its because we need to wait but only time will tell at this point. One more week to go!
