I have a new appointment on the 4th of november (then I'll be 12 weeks). I hope to know the gender by then, but it's very early so we will see. My due date is the 18th of May.Quote:

First of all I didn't do the diet and I couldn't do the work out for several days in a week. But I did use the rasberryleaftea (wich gave me a strong OPK, more than I used to), my DH used olive leaf for several months, he did FR but abstained 1,5 week before positive OPK and we DTD once + we did jump and dumb. I also drank a lot of coffee (wich I never did with my boys). So I really hope I did enough for making this sway succesfull.

PinkHope - one thing I always keep in mind is some people do an entire kitchen sink sway and STILL get an opposite. Even the best sways aren’t fool proof. I think it sounds like you did some great things - FX for your girl! [emoji178]

I agree with Taytum. I had strong sway with Clomid, after m/c, 8 month on LE diet etc and probably it is another boy. Nothing is 100% unfortunately.
But I don't lose hope, I have about 10% that tech was wrong and it is my girl LOL.

Good luck Hannah! We have a girl and three boys as well! Hoping I get my bfp very soon! Very hopeful for this cycle! Will be due July 4th, but due to csection they'll take baby on ds 1's birthday. June 27th.

So I've noticed quite a bit of waiting for gender scans in this group. We found out at 10 weeks with our last through the blood work used to test for any issues or abnormalities. Not the teaser ways, the legit blood testing. Trying to decide to do that again or wait until the scans. [emoji23][emoji23]Quote:

I am having a really hard time resisting the urge to tell people and start planning for this baby! I think this is actually the first pregnancy too that dh has been super excited about from the start! Its so exciting!

I was craving salty mostly at the beginning of the pregnancy. With all my boys i was a sweets gal and it shows now they are all here [emoji23] the other thing i had which was strange was night sickness not morning sickness 🤣
We have been reluctant to tell anyone more so to save ourselves from harassment until we know the gender. Only my in laws and my bestie know and a few from work.
If we can confirm gender at this weekends scan ill be telling the rest of the family.

The blood test is around £500 in Northern Ireland - as much as I'm tempted, I can wait 6 more weeks and have a gender scan done for £45.
I know my doctor would probably guess for me at 13 weeks but I would rather a definite answer so going to wait ....very hard to wait tho!
My NIPT blood test came back yesterday and it is a GIRL!!! [emoji166] After 3 boys I'm still in shock that I could be having a girl!!!

I’ve been craving carbs and sweets - almost exactly what I did with DS. But, had all day nausea for several weeks with this one - only about a week with my son. But, could be worse!!

I have had terrible morning/noon/night sickness for weeks, I have been prescribed cyclizine which helps alot and I can now move and do stuff (I was literally sofa ridden) I have never been this bad with the boys...i have everything crossed for this being a girl x
With my boys I craved pickled onions and lemons, with this one I don't really crave anything just more food aversion (most things make me want to throw up)
Well as for booking in appt the midwife team haven't received my referral so I'm not on their radar, spoke to a midwife today and she said she will arrange my first scan and they will book me in after that, so still waiting. Hopefully I receive an appointment soon.
I had my first scan today at 5w 3d. The yolk sac is forming on the right side of the uterus and I know so many on this site believe that Ramzi has been debunked but when I look up actual examples, it seems to be fairly accurate. So what makes so many people here think it's not reliable? I mean, I know nothing is 100% but it has been right for every one of my friends and coworkers who have had early scans. It was accurate with both of my boys, this scan looks exactly the same as DS2 at this same gestation (I didn't have one until 7 weeks with DS1). Anyways, I'm feeling a bit defeated and I'm already certain that my pray and sway did not work.
One thing I'm nervous about is that my hcg came back at 3,708. On October 8th it was 215 so a doubling time of 2.2 days. With DS2 my HCG went from 290 to 24,316 in that same amount of days. I don't have the figures from DS1 but it was super high with him as well. I hope this little bub is ok :fingers:

Don’t sweat Ramzi! My DS3 was on the left and he is definitely all boy! I put more stock into nub theory.

Didn't expect to find myself here. We have 4 boys and just found out (about 30min ago) I am pregnant with baby #5. I did LE diet early last year for a few months and then my lifestyle eating habits changed to a laid back mostly girl diet. DH and I hit an extreme rough patch early in the month, lots of emotional stress which lead to us being careless 2 times, obviously right when this one was conceived. I would be happy with either gender this time (I had already accepted living the life of a boy mom) BUT know if it is another boy we will get less than favorable reactions from everyone around us. Due Date June 28th but all my kids were born early, that would fall more in early June timing. Sorry still in a bit of shock!
