Mummy2boys I meant to post earlier (but got totally sidetracked) to ask how things are with you? I know you initially wrote this cycle off but how are you feeling now? Was thinking maybe you could post a screenshot of both this cycles chart and the bfp one with initial low temps of the overlay cant be done?
Temps after 1st wake up (longest sleep) were in the 35.8-9 and the 2 after those, each hour they kind of climbed to 36.12 max sorry going from memory.Quote:

Emshe I would definately enter those temps (ones after longest sleep) as even your later ones are below your usual post o temps? At the end of the day you know ypu haven't oed so they would be accurate as such and at least then ff will be able to pin point o day (hopefully of course [emoji6])
I have crosshairs, but just as pbn3 said, I didn't ovulate that same day. It gave me the same day as my peak, but my peak was at 10 pm on the 4th and I had pelvic pain up until last night the 6th. Woke up to no pain at all. I'm think I Oed the yesterday the 6th. Maybe FF will correct itself after a few more days.

So, should I keep doing e4d (today would be the day to, if so) but what if I get a POS OPK this weekend and it hasn't been in the four days? Do we go ahead and BD anyway or should I hold off on the E4D until I get an OPK?
First off, are you doing 72 hr or 96 hr version of e4d?
Need more opinions, but here's mine.
So today is our Thursday. Dtd tonight and if your positive opk is saturday and you O on sunday, then you will have an approximate o-3 attempt. If you add in another attempt on Saturday, then you'll probably have an o-3 and o-1. Boosting conception odds, but less girl friendly.
If you dtd Thursday and your +opk happens sunday then dtd then and that will give you an o-1 attempt and a good one attempt with high conception odds and being girl friendly. I don't feel as a o-4 attempt counts at all.

Mummy2boys it says broken attachment?? What tests did you use?
E4d (72 hr version) is meant to take away the stress of opks by giving you one viable attempt without the stress of 'do I/dont I' add an attempt if pos opk falls on a non scheduled day. But heaps of ladies still do opks anyway to get an idea of when they may o. I would stick to just e4d as your pos opk may come early or late. If you're really not wanting to add an attempt I'd probably ditch the opks to take away the temptation [emoji4]Quote:

Anyone else have horrible guilt about not being on prenatals? It makes me want to start prenatals after each confirmed O date and then stop after AF. When do you plan on starting? After BFP? Would it hurt future sway months for 10-14 days of prenatals?

That sounds strange. I read that FF will give you crosshairs if you have 3 temps that are elevated, so maybe that's happening. Maybe the crosshairs will adjust. I've had that happen before. Pbn3 has targeted my chart perfectly everytime.Quote:

Mummy I see those pics and I do see a faint line!! I'm hesitant too given the crazy luck you've had with false positives but I do hope this one is real and gets darker in the next few days!!!
HGMama - Love the pic!! Your little man is so cute!! As far as the prenatals, even with 3 m/cs I didn't feel guilty about that. BUT I have been taking 1,600-2,400 mcg of folate/day for over a year now and atomic says that folate is the only vitamin proven to prevent birth defects! I think if you're eating a sufficient amount and taking folate/folic acid it's OK! Just start the prenatals as soon as you get a BFP (hopefully in a few days from now!)
I don't feel guilty about not taking prenatals because I am taking folate (I wouldn't skip that) and eating more fruit/veg and healthier foods on my version of the LE diet (alternate) than I was pre-TTC.

If I don't get +OPK tonight, I will likely ovulate at CD 19 or maybe even 20. That puts my one attempt at 3-4 days prior to Ovulation and might likely not result in pregnancy... So should I BD again, at +OPK? If I do that, I risk more than one attempt!
Both decisions have its advantages and risks! What would you do in my shoes?

I completely understand your dilemma and it is such a tough time making the decision. If it’s your first month ttc you might want to really stick to your guns with the one attempt if that is really important to you. But if your in a rush to conceive maybe again at +ve opk. All depends when it turns positive too.Quote:

Hopeful, I’m 41 and I do sometimes ovulate on the same day as pos opk. I have also read somewhere about the surge being shorter when you are in your forties but I don’t know how true it is.

Mummy I’m 41 too, and my GP said that over 40’s , it can Happen the same day or sometimes you can get a surge and you have already ovulated . But I wouldn’t have thought the day before.
I am wondering if my temps were off this month, because I was sick the beginning of my cycle, and also had enormous work related stress at the same time. So my temps may have been higher than normal.

Are you UK by the way? I’m sure stress can definitely affect temps. Mine have been lower than usual this month which is odd considering the lovely weather!

Hopeful you are 2dpo for sure in my mind. I'm not even considering any earlier a possibility. Because you're only 2dpo and ff requires a 3 in a row sustained elevated temp I think you'll find your crosshairs will shift after tomorrows temp is entered. If not, let us know and I'll explain how to change your chart interpretation method [emoji4] However I can see you have no opk entry for cd14? Was it pos or close to? I thought you had gotten a pos but I may be getting mixed up...Quote:
