this morning, early around 5am i had ovulation cramps. i tested later with strips and it is not obvious positive yet but darker than yesterday. we did BD in the morning.

We have noticed a pattern where people have a rush of CM 1-3 days before O that then dries up right before O. This is ok - I myself and many others have gotten boys with that pattern. Go for it!!! FXFXFX!

HI atomic,
today when I added my temp.. suddenly my ovulation date moved to CD16. I had bad ovulation pain at mid night of cd 14 or early morning of cd15. My ovulations tests also point toward cd 15 (as the darkest). I dont know what is right but all I know is that if it is cd16 then we had attempts on cd14, cd15, cd16.. and i didnt have a o+1 attempt on cd17. is that still a good attempt for a boy..? it is already done and dusted now but just keep thinking about it since morning. today is CD19. so i did o-2, o -1 and O day if. cd16 was O day.

Ovulation pain does not tell us when ovulation happened. you can have O pains before, during, and after O. Darkness of test (as long as it's POSITIVE) also doesn't mean anything. Can you post your chart or email it to me at atomicsagebrush@gmail.com?
It's totally possible that you Oed CD 16 with positive on CD 15 or CD 14. Those attempts are great! You do not need an O+1 attempt. The only reason I do that is for people who have more like 48 hours between surge and ovulation.

please see my temp chart attached above.
you can see on cd7 and 8 i had a spike but i guess those were the days i had mild headache and little cough. initially there was a dotted red line pointing ovulation to cd14 and yesterday it was moved to cd16 with a solid line but i was really thinking cd15 was my ovulation day. we couldn’t bd cd17 or cd13.

Mostly same usual symptoms that I get between ovulation and AF.
I have cramps, breast pain nothing new except that cramp seems more noticeable this time, maybe because I am looking for it. lol. Also saw just a bit of brown discharge on Saturday but only once, so I am not going to hope or count on that. I think I am really scared to get my hopes high.
Trying to keep calm and not test too early even though I am so tempted to [emoji23] really hard to keep the early tests away and this few days feels like the longest ever. I am 7 or 8 dpo today. i will wait until 12 dpo to test Fx.

Hi,
I tested today at 11DPO and it is BFN. Probably out this month.
I had really bad cramping and soreness this month .. have no idea why.. had a little hope but at the same time we both were sick while we tried so i was little worried about the sway. maybe for the best!

Sunday as per the calendar. I usually have a 28 days cycle.
mixed feeling for now. I truly have bad cramping from dpo5/6.. I wonder why. if AF came i will be worried why I had cramp. I still have it on one side while I type.

Your chart was a bit strange, is there any way you might have ovulated later??
Some people, myself included, have noticed cramping around the secondary estrogen surge. You are describing something that sounds fairly strong, though, which makes me think that it was either O or...
Another possibility is that you have a cyst. This happens and can be quite painful, but usually resolves on its own and doesn't stop u from ovulating in the future.
What many people are afraid of, but that this probably ISN'T, is a chemical. That cramping you're describing would be too early to be related to a chemical, and it's unusual to notice cramps even 7-9 DPO, because it usually takes a little time before your body kicks the "I'm pregnant" vibes into high gear!

Yes the cramp is strong enough to distract me at times and at times I just wanted to lay. I have a feeling that it could be cyst from the way i get this pain. i felt burning and inflamed on the sides at times and makes me feel like i have some wounds inside .. not that I have but that’s the sort of feeling i get at times. inflammation kinda feel and then cramps in the middle like am about to start period and goes away. it is not just on the side or middle. it was either side, otherwise middle. mostly on the left. my ovulation pain was on the right this month
when AF arrive, i will try and get some test maybe with the doc.
if I have cyst, why is it painful? does it mean it is going away? how can we check if I have it?

Ok, so if it was all over the place it's less likely that it was a cyst. Usually cysts are in ONE place. They hurt because they get bigger than what your ovary "likes" and can even rupture (which is very very painful) You can't tell if a cyst is going away if it's painful, it doesn't mean anything other than that it is present.
But since you're having pains all over the place I'm assuming either your ovulation was delayed or you are pregnant and it hasn't registered on the test yet.

Really I don't know, I usually ovulate on cd12 but this month the ovulation pain I had on cd 12 was very mild compared to previous months. But the pain returned strongly yesterday cd14. So I may have had a late ovulation. So I probably started 2WW today.
Anyways we dtd cd 8, 9, 11, 12, 14. I wish we had BD cd 13, but I was exhausted after work. But I've been trying for so long now, that I don't feel anxious anymore, I just take each month as it comes.

This month my cycle was 27, guessing my ovulation will be around cd 14/15.
i usually done with AF by cd7. so far DH did cd2 ,cd4 (release only) , planning cd6 Release then get into attempt from there onwards.
how can I plan this month’s attempt? if ov guessed for cd 14/15 ? i will be taking temp and ovulation tests too. hoping this will be my cycle.

I would aim at having attempts CD 12-16 if possible. IF that isn't possible, skip the CD 16 one.

Hmm, I would need more temps to say for sure. One temp in isolation doesn't mean anything. I suspect that the tests on CD 14 are the actual surge and late CD 14 or early CD 15 is when O happened, but without a few more temps I can't say for sure.
tempt dropped today cd16 to 36.33.. (cd15 was 36.44) so little confused. i will keep testing ovulation and temp and continue with BD. should I skip tomorrow (CD17) and bd on cd18 or bd one more day tomorrow to cover and see how temp and ovulation doing.
I had ovulation like cramp from right side on CD 14 night .. it was for like 2 hours noticeable but not bad. then it switched to left side for little bit and gone.
yesterday night almost like 24 hours after i had really bad cramp again on right , middle side and to the back and it was really uncomfortable pain for about 30 minutes and faded maybe after an hour.
