Hi Longing.for.a.daughter - just saying hello & offering empathy, both for your loss & your nervous wait. I have 2 boys too & desperately want a girl. My husband is happy to try all the natural methods but is uncomfortable with PGD so I am also nervous. He is one of 4 boys & there are only a few girls on both sides of the family. I'm willing to do anything but so scared it won't be enough & we also only want 3 children. I love my sons & will love whomever our next baby is too but every dream I've had for my life has had a little girl in it & I will be heartbroken if I never meet her. Wow Primal, our stories couldn't get anymore similar. We had discussed PGD but he hadn't shown much interest in it and was relieved when I got a BFP and the discussion stopped. He is desperate for a daughter too but seems as tho he would be more interested to keep popping kids out until we a girl and I'm not on board with that specially having complicated high risk pregnancies (blood clots with #1 so on blood thinners for all pregnancies) and having csections means max of 4 kids anyway but I only want 3.

I also love my sons but can't shake the overwhelming sense of non-completion without a daughter. If this next one is a boy I'm wondering if once he arrives I will feel complete or if this won't disappear until we do have a daughter. So tough and none of my friends understand as they all have mixed sex's.

When are you due? So nice to be in touch with someone in a very similar situation. Crossing fingers for a pink bundle for you.

Thank you Longing... I'm normally a health nut & eat Paleo so the diet is totally out of my comfort zone! But I guess the fact that I was on essentially a very nutritious HE diet may explain my boys. This LE is definitely different for me! Hopefully it does what I want it to.

Hi PrimalMamma! OMG! I am so hungry too! I also have two boys and wanting a girl desperately.
I'm in Melbourne.
I also eat based around Paleo principles as well as IQS and this goes against everything I usually eat/drink. Hoping I fall preg next month when we start trying again. We started trying in Feb/march this year without success. I lost so much weight that i couldn't go any lower. So I took a break and am now starting again.

Hi Chloe sorry haven't been on here for ages! I'm currently sort of in the 2ww, we weren't going to attempt for July but just got a little frisky one night... No idea if the timing is right but I've almost given up on swaying anyway. I couldn't maintain the diet I was too hungry & the lack of protein made me depressed.

I've been reading on the internet about different diets and I've been trying the high cal/mag, low potass/sodium diet with cranberry, but now reading on this forum all those things have gone out the window and I have to start again, on the LE diet. What lengths we go to to get a girl.

Hi Annie! I too have 2 boys & am nearly 6 weeks pregnant. I hope it's pink, although I'm quite ok with another boy (which I think is inevitable if I'm honest). I tried LE & it drove me nuts, lack of protein really affects my mood & mental state, so I stopped & joined Weight Watchers & just ate sensibly but lower fat/calorie. I didn't lose much weight as I didn't have much to lose anyway. I drank a lot of peppermint tea & took antihistamine every day & we also did one attempt at +OPK.

I'm new to Gender Dreaming and would love to get in touch with some other Aussies. I'm probably in a similar situation - I have 2 amazing little boys but I too always assumed I would have a daughter. My DH & I never had a set number of children in mind but now that we have 2 we have agreed that 3 would be our final number so I really want to do everything in my power to attempt a sway. I didn't do anything with the first 2 except for TTC but I am a very regular eater - love my food and would eat about 6-7 times per day. I am a healthy weight and work out a couple of times per week. Since coming across this site I've purchased a plan (which I'm waiting for), have started to skip breakfast and trying to limit calories. I had also purchased Cranberry, Magnesium and Calcium but was told that these could actually sway boy so I'm definitely not going to take them.

Hope you are still on this forum as I would love to get in touch.

Im back again :) (I was first here almost 3 years ago when this thread first started, swayed pink, got a boy, a lovely little lad who is now 17mnths)
I have just started swaying again for our third and final child (well, I would lobe 4 children but DH says definitely no more then 3 ever) and would desperately love for it to be a little girl.

I am seeing a natropath who has put me on a strict diet (basically FGD and LE combined) along with sups and timing, our first attempt will be in december and I'm excited and nervous all at once.

Sunnybunny my sway includes high calc/mag and cran sups :)
My last (failed) sway DIDNT include any of the above, and after lots of research I decided to do the calc/mag cran this time. Gotta do the opposite right? :worry:
I met with 2 different naturopaths before starting my sway (i wanted to meet them before decided who to go with) and both incorporate it heavily into their plans, so i chose with my head and my gut so I'm not changing now - fingers crossed i made the right choice!

Do you have 2 boys as well? I wish I swayed before.. Given myself more room for error..

Where abouts in Australia after you? I'm in Sydney. I never thought to seek advice from a natropath. I mentioned timing to my gp and he also mentioned position so I'll definitely keep that in mind.

Im in Sydney too! (well, only just, on the fringes) And yes I have 2 lovely boys :)
I decided to go down the naturopath route because I wanted to deal with someone face to face, and I also wanted to take all the guesswork out of swaying and just follow what I was given 100%.
She has incorporated timing too, but with positions my uterus has such a large tilt on it that the dr told me that the only position i can get pregnant in is from behind, so not much choice there.
The lady I'm seeing is in Manly, but the other one i visited (i saw both of them before deciding who to go with) is in Bondi.

The naturopath I decided to go with specialises in just gender swaying now, whereas the other is more womens health generally and she does gender swaying aswell

Wow, I never realised that there was that type of help /advice out there. That's fantastic. I'm in North West Sydney so a fair way from Manly. Did I follow atomics advice last time? I saw from the start of this thread that you were following the le diet..

Yeh it took me over an hour to get there! But worth it in the long run, first 2 consults were in person, but the rest we will just do via email and phone to save the loooong trip.
Yes I did get a sway, though I had loosened it in desperation to get pregnant. In hindsight I know though that the reason i hadn't fallen pregnant sooner was due to physical constraints, my uterus has such a big tilt on it that the dr said its not possible for me to fall pregnant in any position other then from behind, so I'm hopefully that by sticking to the sway this time I can find success

I'm following the low everything diet. Ive been on it for about 10 weeks. It's a massive change in diet for me but Im actually really enjoying it and Ive lost 8kg which is a bonus. I haven't felt better in ages.

My naturopath sway worked!!! We found out today that I'm pregnant with a girl!!!! I'm still in shock.

After a failed sway I found it so hard to believe that it could happen for us, even though the sway this time round was so different. But it did!!

Mum of 1 gorgeous little man here. Hoping for a little girl next - DH only wants 2 children so it's all or nothing !!
TTC mid august so starting LE tomorrow and hoping for some help - abit overwhelmed !!

I am taking
- vitex
- magnesium
- calcium
- folate 1500mg
- sylk
- acigel

Intending on skipping breakfast and then having Veggie soups for lunch / rice with veg and similar for dinner.
Or salad sandwiches.. veg rissotto.
and drowning in diet coke and cranberry teas.

I normally eat a high protein low carb diet, so the idea of this complete swap to low calorie low nutrition and empty carbs is a little daunting.

Any tips would be hugely appreciated. I am going to start DH on olive leaf and DTD once in fertile period with DH having a how bath and taking antihistamines.

Does this all sound somewhat ok?

That sounds like a solid sway and if you don't have a history of any fertility issues and are less than 35 I'd recommend your attempt to be a couple of days before O. I know GD aren't big on timing but I think it's a helpful part of a sway. Anyway I think if you stick to it and have a diet very different to when you conceived your DS, you have a great chance of getting your pink bundle. I think some visualisation and a Pinterest board could help (worked for me). Best of luck!

I'm struggling with the not eating breakfast thing. Can I skip dinner instead? I am always STARVING in the morning but can take or leave dinner.

That would probably work. No studies on that but blood sugar would stay low, which is what the aim is. Otherwise a coffee or diet drink at breakfast? LE is SO hard but hang in there...

Looks like a fab sway! I used to have a big coffee in the morning to try and help get me through to 11am when I'd have an early lunch. No disrespect to Gidget, but as far as visualization goes I know Atomic recommends pink swayers not to do those types of things as it can exacerbate our type A control freak personalities (which can sway boy) but it depends on the kind of person you are I guess! Hi. I'm not sure if this section of forum is still going...but I'm from Australia too. Northern NSW. I too am ttc a girl after my 2 beautiful boys! We are looking to start next month eeeekkkkk.....

I'm on the IG diet... But I am having a few more things. Skipping breakfast, having a glass of milk with aspartame around 10ish. Then having a meal after midday.... Something like rice with beans and broccoli and chicken, or plain pasta with Parma cheese. Dinner is similar. I also try and have another 2 glasses of milk and some yogurt with berries in there somewhere.

Supps.. I'm taking calcium and cranberry . Hubby is taking that also. I'm not really wanting to load up on supps. Do you think what we are taking is affective enough to sway girl?

How does the diet look? It's only been a few weeks.

Ph for hubby isn't great. Working on that with cranberry, aspartame, peppermint tea, and antihistamine. Is that enough to bring it down?

Mine is sitting at 5 too. Need to get it lower.

The IG diet is not what the ladies on this site prescribe to. Most on this site follow the LE diet when TTC a girl. Which means minimal dairy (if you must have some then it needs to be skim), no snacking in between meals, skip breakfast, vegetarian diet if possible, rice and pasta is OK but I'd limit the beans on the LE diet. As far as I know the ladies on here don't usually take calcium or cranberry supplements and we don't worry about pH at all.
