If you did o on the 14th then it likely would have been pos? There's no point in bding on a negative opk (light line) as you will get this for most of your cycle. You're trying to catch your peak surge to time your attempt close to the egg dropping (within 72 hours). Can I suggest testing between 1-3pm after a 2 hour hold and limited fluids (so try to just sip rather than gulp for the few hours before testing) and if the line starts darkening test once again in the evening between 6-8pm? Alternatively you may like to try the cb dual hormone digital opks that use fmu so no need to worry about holds/restricting fluids etc. You'll get an open circle first meaning not fertile, then a flashing smiley (which may continue for several days) meaning there is a change in your lh and estrogen levels, then you'll get a solid (non flashing) smiley that will indicate your peak surge and is equivalent to a pos opk. You dtd the day of solid smiley for one attempt at pos opk.Quote:
