Ok, i'm in a dilemma so need some advice. I havent yet got a + opk but ewcm still there, today is day 3 abstinance for DH & i was hoping to have a + opk tomorrow & that would have been perfect for spermies but now i'm not sure when i'll get a +opk so the question is, should i dtd tomorrow & then again when i get +opk which could be any day or should i get DH to release & hope that when i get +opk he'd have had a few days to load up. Confussed & this happens all the time
babyD I'd wait til tomorrow and dtd regardless of + or not, that would be a perfect 4 day for DH:agree:
HEY everyone! I have unfortunately not been on vaca, rather just insanely busy with work and DH is out of town, making things extra fun. AND my 12 year old dog just had surgery and has cancer, so been taking care of lots of little people and 4-legged people also. I think AF is coming soon, I feel crappy, haven't had pms for a while now.
SO excited for all of the attempts! I just read through 10 pages or so you chatty chicas, so do have a couple of comments:
2ww- I would not take anything but the prenatals during this time, just to be safe, but this is my opinion. It's totally fine to have a break between attempts anyway. Lots of ladies vary, though...definitely no bsd or hormonal supps, I think it is fine to keep doing green tea and diet and all, of course, but I stop with the supps just to be on the safe side.
Ew and bsf.....I remember the guru on IG telling me in all caps to NOT mix bs and ew, that it does something funny to the mixture and makes the sperms heads explode. I was like WHAAAA???? But, you can mix preseed and bs for sure. Now, you guys remember me telling you all that I did ew for 5 months and bfns....BUT what makes me wary is that I also did a bsf, so in essence, I was mixing the two. I think it is very bad advice to do ew and bsf, because you ARE mixing it! I think I was killing all of DH's sperm. Then, the two months we get pg, like bam and bam, it was with preseed and bsf. So, just beware. I think that if you do ew, the ph is so high that you don't need to do a bsf. I would do one or the other. Just beware!
Mucinex vs. Robitussin- I personally take the mucinex tabs, because I hate drinking icky cough syrup, and I just take the tab about an hour before attempt. I wouldn't think there is much of a difference, because they both contain 400mg guifanesin. But, liquid will of course absorb a bit faster, which is why I give the tabs an hour to take effect.
And thanks for the compliments, Iluv....it's crazy how much I know about this since I've been doing it so long now. Sheeshhhh.

Oh, and who had the bloody cm? That is ok, when you release and egg, sometimes a little blood can come out, it just means that you probably ovulated. I recall reading that in TCOYF or something. Maybe google it.....
Anyway, hope you girls are doing ok. I am focusing on life and losing this weight right now. I want to drop the 25 lbs in the next 5 weeks, then I'll get back on the diet in a nice moderate fashion for about 6 weeks. I just got out my summer clothes and NOTHING from last summer fits, not one pair of my bottoms at all. So depressing. I hope someone gets a bfp really soon....sending positive baby vibes out to all of the attempts and 2wwers right now!!!
I agree, do it now with all the ewcm, then do it again about 12-18 hours after your +opk shows up. If you are not close with the fade-ins, you'll probably have a + with a nice 2-3 day abstinence in between. Can't remember if you are trying the one shot deal or not.....Quote:

Hi All, Hope you are all doing well ..I've been away for a few days..I am really not feeling well. After all the hard work I done since my m/c in March, I can't even O anymore so I can't make an attempt. I'm on CD 36 and no sign of O. And after everything I've been through since I started swaying we decided no more ttc for us. I don't know If I will try again, but for right now I am just sad for everything I did, it went for nothing. I got so fat from the diet I spent a lot of money for nothing. I can't keep doing this anymore :(
