Thanks for that info crazycatcouple! I'm out to buy me some dates!!
I'm 38 weeks tomorrow and had my appt yesterday but they won't do any sweeping of membranes until I'm 40 weeks so I'm walking everywhere like a mad woman! I really don't want to go over this time I'm so ready to meet my little girl Oncue you're due same time as me aren't you?

Yep due in 13 days. Part of me wants time to fly so we can meet him but part of me doesn't mind waiting longer as I'm really enjoying this time with our DDs. I can't believe sometimes how we are so lucky to be given the opportunity to love and raise these little people, and how much they just give back to us even when they are so young.
I have been having very emotional days again (like in first trim) where I am so overwhelmed with good and bad emotions, everything makes me cry hahaha! DH usually has to leave the room so he can have a laugh behind my back hahaha.
So excited for this new year and can't wait to hear more baby news! Xo happy 2015 🎉

Happy new years ladies!
I think I might have lost my mucus plug today, but from what I can tell, it's not a big deal unless it's accompanied by contractions and such. I think I'm just going to wait and see how it goes. I have a doctors apt on Tuesday, so I'll ask them about it then. I'm 32 weeks, so too early for him to arrive for sure!

CCC how much of your plug has come away, and more importantly, was it pink/ blood streaked? If it was or if it was a lot then I would call your midwife/ hospital right away as it can be a sign of early labour! If it wasn't and wasn't much/ not smelly or discoloured then don't panic too much but deffo mention it. The plug can regenerate to a certain extent but don't overdo it; mine came away in little bits during my last trimester (sorry for tmi but every now and again there would be some thickish/ sticky mucus when I wiped after using the loo; about as much as when you blow your nose when you have a cold and it was creamy colour, never pink).
Good luck ladies with your new arrivals! :) xx

Hey crazycat, I'm not sure what that means, but hopefully it's all ok and bub stays in a little longer. I think if you aren't experiencing contractions that's def a good sign x

There was no pink to it at all, but it was quite a bit. I'm having a hard time determining if it was in fact the plug or just lots of extra mucus from being pregnant. In early pregnancy I had lots of extra, but it seemed to stop, so this time when there was so much, it concerned me. Sorry for the tmi... It was thick, but not hard at all. Since there was no blood at all in it though, I'm thinking it's probably safe. I may go ahead and just give my doctors office a call today, just in case. Thanks ladies!

Oh my goodness ladies. I'm so sorry I haven't posted sooner. I tried to in the hospital during some downtime but found it difficult on my phone. My little guy arrived all on his own at 41 weeks and 1 day RIGHT AFTER my non-stress test. I had an incredibly short (and mostly easy) labor and he was born Sunday at 11 a.m. He weighed 9 lbs and 15 oz and was 22 1/2 inches long!!! I have NO idea where I fit all of that baby or where that weight came from as it doesn't run in the family, my DD was a mere 7 lbs 4 oz. This time around overall has been much easier though I had forgotten how long it takes to get the hang of breastfeeding. Here's my not so little guy:
