Scan went really well. Cheeky monkey was totally covering her face with an arm so no good pic. But I don't care, she's def still a she!! Phew! And placenta is way up out of the way. Plus she is measuring 2 wks ahead. Surprise surprise. Looks like another 10lb baby! Lol so looks like at this stage all is good for my fourth vaginal birth! I've got lots of fluid yet again so the combination of large baby, large placenta and lots of fluid is the reason why I'm looking more like 40wks than 30wks!
Oh salsa that's a gorgeous room you've been so busy need to get a move on!

Thanks fish and girlsway. I ordered it. I'm about as crafty as my 1 yr old lol if Thorz lived closer to me I'm sure she could of whipped something up for me!! Hehe can't wait until I'm holding my little one. Seems like forever that I've had a newborn. This will be my biggest age gap. But it's still under 2 yrs lol

Yes scan with my local hospital next Monday hoping it'll go well and be the last so I can just get on with being excited! Agh this is a massive gap to be too 27months there's 15 between ds's ;-s hoping she won't be left out all the time.....still only 3.5yrs top to bottom so hopefully okay
She'll be fine. She will be totally adored by her big bros. my boys are 16months apart, and I'll have just on 5 yrs from my first (DD) to my last (DD) with the boys on between. Good luck for your scan! I'm sure she'll perform perfectly, as the last scan was certainly heading that way! Keep us updated x x

We are buying our first house hopefully before sept so for the first time i get to paint and decorate the nursery (we have always been renting so not allowed to paint) and i cannot wait :D
Fish i know its a few days off yet but i hope your scan goes well on monday and then you can sit back and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy.

DLTAG that's so exciting about buying a house! We hope to sell our current home and buy a larger one next year as we are outgrowing this one. There are a lot of fond memories here and we have lots of friends in this neighborhood but at the same time I'm excited at the idea of moving!
Baby boy is behaving himself and staying put, yay! My appt with the pediatric cardiologist yesterday left us with more questions than answers. He said there is definitely an abnormality with the main veins of his heart and possibly the valves as well. It could be one of several conditions but none can be firmly diagnosed until after delivery. They also won't know how severe or mild it is until birth. For now his heart appears to be functioning well in utero which is a huge relief but we won't know how well it does on it's own once he is born and has the added strain of possibly being premature. They will have a cardiologist at the deliver to evaluate him but until then it's pretty much wait and hope that it turns out to be very mild.
Salsa I saw you mentioned also having high amniotic fluid. Did they tell you how much it is measuring? Mine is now up to a 33 and rising. I feel like I'm going to pop as it is!
Southern I'm glad that he is staying put, but I'm so sorry that you weren't put at ease. I really hope it is I minor issue and bub is born healthy! Im glad you updated us, I was getting nervous.
Salsa, love the nursery, I have most of my stuff finished for the nursery but we have a renter in that room so I can't put it all together for a few more weeks.
DLTAG buying a house is exciting! I love being able to do whatever I want to do to this house and not worry about a deposit!! LOL its nice to hear from you again!
Im sure I have missed other updates Im too lazy to go back and read everything right now. I'm still feeling really down about my weight, watching the scale shoot up and not being able to do anything about it is really hard. Bed rest really sucks! I'm starting to get the "pregnancy mask" which I have never had before, it is really annoying. Has anyone ever had that and does it really go away after? I hope so. It looks like I have bruises by my eyes and temples but they are just dark patches of skin.....booooo
I weighed myself yesterday thi king I gained nothing in three weeks because i have been extremely active... And nope I gained 5 flipping pounds! Lolhow I'm starting to get down about my weight lol...I have gained 35 pounds! And thats with me not gaining an ounce for the first trimester from morning sickness lol!
Glad he is staying put southern but the heart thing is defiantly stressful! I hope it's something very minor

I know how you all feel about the weight gain as well. I don't own a scale so only get weighed at the dr. The weird thing for me is that I've had very little appetite over the last couple of weeks. When I'm stressed I can't eat (I know it's not good for the baby :(). Despite this my weight has continued to go up. My clothes are fitting a little looser as well, except for around my belly of course. The only thing I can think of is that perhaps all the extra fluid is the cause? I have to admit though I'm looking forward to getting back to running after baby. I miss it terribly
I understand what everyone means about the weight gain. My scales are showing extra 13kg which is 28 pounds and I still have 8 wks to go.
I have a scan tomorrow but I have feeling the weight has stored in wrong places. Otherwise I am very excited to see the little one, its been ages! I hope she is still a girl.
Oh southern hopefully it's one of those things that turns out to be nothing, I've found the stress has made me either massively over or under eat net result seems to be massive weight gain booo

My ob appt is Thursday and it will be mighty interesting as DH is working so I'm taking ds1 and 3 with me and ds3 has some major hatred for drs after all he's been through... I'm basically expecting him to cry the entire time.... Yay me
Southern I'm so glad to hear he is staying put! They didn't tell me my fluid level, only said that it was good I had a lot as it supports a big baby. I always have a large amount. When my waters break a swimming pool gushes out of me just like the movies!! People always say its nothing like the movies but it is for me lol
Southern so glad that baby is staying put but I know you must be worried about the potential of a heart condition. Wait and see is not something I do very well... hope you are doing okay.
I am with you ladies with the weight gain. I have gained 30 lbs and I have 6.5 weeks left!! I don't feel like I am over eating but the lbs keep coming. I have also started swelling a little bit all over which I hate too. I don't have ankles anymore and my hands and face feel very swollen also. The heat isn't helping anything either.
WAG not fun to have to take the boys to the appt sorry!
So like I said I am gaining weight super fast because of the bed rest, but really I have lost my appetite for just about everything! I really don't want to eat at all. I know I have to so I do but Im not up for cooking and my mom is no good at it lol so I just eat crap. I hate to be a debbie downer, but am I the only one that is getting really tired of being pregnant? I think I'm going to have my baby shower in 4 weeks so that gives me something to look forward too. I just want my baby girl in my arms already! I think Im so down because I miss DH he has been working so much lately and we never see him. It should be a little better in 2 weeks, when he becomes a 3rd year resident instead of 2nd. They don't have to be on call as much, hopefully!
Thorz I'm so fed up with this pregnancy never felt like this before, finding it hard to readjust from 37wks when they'd have induced me with the twins to potentially 42 weeks thats another 11 weeks agh
Plus want aug due to school terms plus sick of being tired achy and grumpy ;-(
Not sure why I think I'll be less of a grumpy cow once I have a newborn thou LOL

I cant believe some of you only had 6 to 8 weeks left. I still have 12 weeks to go and thats if i dont go over, could even be 14 weeks. My hands and feet have really swollen up too and i cant wear my wedding ring anymore which really upsets me, i feel naked without it but i got it stuck yesterday trying to squeeze.
Its a little stressful here too with DS1 starting school in sept and buying a house too, the pregnancy has taken a bit of a back seat at the min. We have put an offer in for a house though so just crossing our fingers it gets accepted.
I'm going to weigh myself in the morning too, i keep putting it off but since getting back of hols, i'm not looking forward to it :nails:
Had the scan today and it's still very much a girl!!! I finally believe it. DH and I will have a daughter and our boys a sister. She was an average size for her gestation they suggested she might be born as 7.5 pounder. The technician was a great guy he scanned DS2 quite a few times too and explained how their machines are checked regularly and they don't cause any harm at all. He said damage would have been done if one was scanned for 6 hours constantly. It was reassuring.
Btw is anyone having issues with bladder weakness? Especially in the evening, I have to change clothes on many occasions. Having a cough doesn't help too.

Thorz I am exactly the same way, little appetite and don't feel like cooking at all. It's so hard to come up with things to make for dinner when I don't even want it myself. Usually I end up making something on the simpler side and only eating a few bites. It doesn't help that I've started getting terrible heartburn which is a first ever preggo symptom for me.
I've also been feeling down lately. I think a big part of it is feeling like I'm missing out on spending times with my boys because I'm limited in what I can do. This is my first time being pregnant during summer when the kids are home. This is usually time I cherish spending time doing things with the kids while they're off school and it's just a bummer not being able to do that :(
Ugh ladies! I'm been having a lot of Braxton hicks contractions lately and a sharp pain in my side I just figured it was normal pregnancy pains but I was just in the shower and flipped my hair over to put a towel on my hair and noticed blood running down my leg. I do not want to go to the hospital!! Under any circumstances I'm not sure what to do. I put a panty liner on to catch the blood and see if its bright red or brownish as I couldn't tell in the shower because it was diluted with water!
My appt is still 12 hours away.... Can't wait to be over with it... Lol
This is by far the most uncomfortable pregnancy and it's the kind of pregnancy that makes you never want to d it agan lol! I have the worst rond ligament pains! When I'm sleeping anytime I move get them very severe... Last night they made me literally cry lol! I have the worst heartburn! I had the worst morning sickness for the first 12 weeks! My hip is screwed up I limp... My pubic bone feels like a train ran into it... My feet swell...constant contractions... I'm sure there's more I could complain about...

I'm happy the pregnancy is nearing the finish line but I'm so very terrified! My friend brought her newborn over and ds3 hated it! When I held him he lost it... Just a sneak peak into my future I suppose!
Thorz you have to call the dr! What if it's a placenta issue! Is the baby moving around!?
Thorz that is so scary! I hope the bleeding stopped, if not then I agree with WAG you should call your doc. Please update when you can!
Yep she is still moving lots. I just don't want to spend all of the 4th of July in the hospital just for them to send me home and say, just rest! If the bleeding continues ill go in, if its just a one time thing I'll wait for my dr appt next week.
I know what you mean about being worried! DS3is probably going to be really jealous too. Maybe you can hold more babies in the next little bit to get him used to it.
How is your bleeding now? Just spotting? Brown/red/pink
Thorz I hope you stop bleeding by now. I was spotting through out DS 2 pregnancy and I was reassured it was just my cervix reacting to the pregnancy hormones. I hope it's similar for you Thorz. Keep us posted.

I'm having bladder trouble too. My bladder seems to pee about 2 mins before my brain tells it too. I'm suffering with hay fever too so every time i sneeze (which is a lot) i get a little leakage, not good.
Well I woke up with a lot of blood in my underwear, but I don't know when it happened earlier in the night probably because it was dry. Its red blood and my DH wants me to go get checked out. However, it has been 2 hours since I woke up and I haven't bled anymore. Being that it is the 4th of July, I would have to go to the hospital instead of my dr clinic so I really don't want to go in. I promised DH that if I bled at all today then I would go in, otherwise, I will call the dr tomorrow and see if she wants me to come into the clinic. If I go to the hospital I am afraid I'll be there all day long just for them to say, its hormones and my cervix reacting and to go home and rest.
Oh Thorz, you poor thing. Hmmmm I'm with your DH on this one. But understand you not wanting to spend all day in hospital only to be told its nothing. Promise us you will call the doc tomorrow though and not wait until your appoint next wk?? Also yes if you get any more today you should head to the hospital regardless. Thinking of you and hope its all stopped x x
Was your placenta covering your cervix at all at your last u/s?
Leaving in ten mins for my appt and I'm annoyed at the fact I have to take these kids! Lol they are gonna be bad! Ds3 was just sedated last week so he's on very bad terms with drs right now lol

I agree with fish's advice! You would rather be safe... I would rather sit in a hospital for 12 hours and know everything is okay... I personally think the placenta and such needs to be checked! What if theres and issue it could potentially be fatal to her.....
Appt went good Ezra was great couldn't have asked him to be a better... I did however have him strapped into his stroller lol once he saw the appt was not for him the pout left his little face
Dr said I'm looking at an average sized baby...he said I have such a perfect small belly lol
