This morning my temp jumped to 98.7 which is the highest I've ever had... not sure if thats a good sign for progesterone levels?! Today is 11dpo, my longest luteal phase in the last 7 months has been 9days so maybe it was more just an issue that I O'd too late and my LP never adjusted so I never had time to implant. My O was cd17 (or really really early CD18) and I've never O'd before CD20 so maybe those extra two days helped... I'm hoping there's a cancellation and I can get into my doc today to talk about it!

Here's my BFP from this morning at 11DPO. I still don't believe it.. trying to not get too excited just yet!

Gulp!! Thinking there is a good chance it's an evap. Hubby doesn't see any pink. Scared to even imagine it, my last LP was just 6 days! And our one attempt (if I can call it that, was a total oopsie). Guess only time will tell. If it is a BFP then how long would I need to worry about the LP issue...?

I see something for sure! Hard to tell on my comp if I see pink or not, but I definitely see a line. I've had an evap before so I'm always hesitant to trust until I see a few BFP's. At 8DPO you'd think it would be light so I'd test again tomorrow and see!
I'm with you on not knowing when the worry of short LP causing problems ends?! I keep worrying that the fact I O'd later than cd14 is going to cause problems, and then my short LP.. I just feel doomed. Welcome to me in the first trimester. I forgot how I over analyse every detail!!!

First of all, CONGRATS!! Secondly, the pregnancy ~should~ make it so you do not get AF regardless of how long your LP was last month. A healthy pregnancy stimulates your body to make its own progesterone. There is no way to predict from month to month, what your LP would have been - you may have been about to have a totally normal LP this month anyway.
As to whether you should start prog. or not, you shoudl ONLY get prog supps from a doctor - not the OTC creams. They are not enough to sustain a pregnancy anyway and are meant for women in menopause. Your doctor will do a test that can tell you if you need prog. support or not.
It has actually been shown fairly conclusively that prog. support does nothing to help pregnancy outcome anyway (for people who get pos preg tests, that is). So please don't worry that you are endangering your baby's life from not getting it - if the baby is viable and you have a pos pg test, you probably don't even need the progesterone anyway.'
