As I think about tomorrow and have all these emotions I know family will have comments either way but the boy comments are going to sting if I hear girl. I know I will be just fine with another sweet boy but the initial shock might take me a bit to get over. I don't want to sound bitchy but if I do hear boy please I don't want any I'm sorrys might make me cry more [emoji24]. I'll (eventually) be ok welcoming another boy.
I apologize for all my ranting and whining lately on this gender scan I don't think anyone else (I know) on here has complained or griped as much as me lately regarding a scan. I'm on pins and needles over here because I KNOW this is my last sweet babe to welcome to our family

Ash the anxiety is real and your feelings are valid. There are no sorrys for any gender because in the end if we're given the gift of these babies, that's blessing enough. I've spent a lot of time digesting where my feelings have come from and I know my baby will be who he wants to be regardless of gender. There are no guarantees that the gender you think you want will even produce a child that meets those gender stereotype expectations. It may be the feminist in me, but in the end all our children should feel the freedom to be who they want without the stereotypes. Because then that is equality.
You take the time you need for you. I'm excited for you either way.

So true dreaming I've never thought of t that way! A girl after 4 boys could be my pretty princess or could be a Tom boy who rolls in the mud! Deep breath lol I can do this!

I'm anxious too ash! Except I have to wait till D-day. My anatomy scan is booked for 2nd August. I'll just have to close my eyes or get them to turn the screen off when it comes anywhere near the upper leg area. Hubby will be with me too so I can't even get a quick glance.
Perfectly said dreaming!! You are 100% right!!!!!
Ash-you have 4 absolutely beautiful (handsome) boys & your sweet baby will be an amazing gift either way!! I'm feeling these same emotions right now, anticipating next week, so I can definitely relate!! I've already told myself that I'm going shopping for myself if I hear boy We will be so happy for your little blessing either way!! In the grand scheme of things, it's just so amazing to witness our little miracles grow into a person no matter what gender is!! Can't wait for tomorrow [emoji173]LOVE the nails!! Gorgeous ring too!! I was team green for DS2 & painted my toenails the same way lol. Speaking of feet, random, but pbn---how is your foot from a long time ago? Weren't you afraid you were going to lose a toenail-trying to remember??
Ash-wouldn't a little princess who's not afraid to roll in the mud too...be pretty awesome??!! Lol 🤣 Either way, this baby has a wonderful Momma with a kind heart & he/she is destined for great things [emoji173]You CAN do this!! How is DH feeling?? I feel like men never give it as much thought as we do lol.
I cant believe you remember that Lolabelle! The nail is still there although its a purply black colour lol. The cut area is still sore near the bone, think there's still some gravel or rock in there, or possibly a small fracture but I'll have to get it scanned I suppose [emoji53] one day lol. It's sore but not doesn't stop me walking ir anything so cant be too serious.

Ouch pbn, I just had a random flashback to your poor toe when I was thinking about my pink/blue painted toenails! Sounds painful still, but glad you didn't lose the nail & that is doesn't interfere with walking!!
