Well that was a waste of time, money and emotion.
I saw a locom dr as my usual one is away sick, he made me feel like a complete IDIOT
Basically told me that nothing could be wrong because I have CLEARLY had children before. He said he wouldn't do any bloods either as I am only a week after ovulation (I am 9dpo today) and it wouldn't show yet, he doesn't do bloods until periods are late - WTF?!
I actually sat in my car and cried! :(
Oh TTC5, im so sorry your doctor made you feel like that. My doctor also waits until periods are late and confirms with a pee stick before doing bloods. I know how hard and slow the 2ww is, but hang in there... some ladies get BFP's at 10 dpo, so maybe tomorrow you will get yours. Fx for you hun.
Thanks C xx
My turn will come just need to be patient, would have liked to know what the go is with the opks though hey?
Yes it would have been nice to get some answers today. If you are getting bfn's later this week and you go back to your regular doctor ask her if you can have blood drawn to check for luteal phase defect/hormone imbalance. That was something i just read about today here - http://peestickcrazy.piczo.com/progr...linkvar=000044 You might be interested to read the last entry on this page and see what happened to fallenangel32.
Off to read thankyou :)
aww sorry to hear the doctor didn't help, they don't sound very competent if they don't know that fertility can change even after previous pregnancies! Probably right that it's too soon for blood tests, but there was no harm in asking..
I'm sorry, that would have upset me too x
