9w3d (LMP) measuring 8w exactly.
Any Ramzi theory guesses?
Chantalrdj was this scan done via abdominal or transvaginally?
Abdominal - Girl
Transvaginally - Boy
I just wanted to say I've actually asked two ultrasound consultants and read many studies, and everything agreed that BOTH transvaginal and abdominal reverse the image, the only difference is if the image is transverse (where left shows right and right shows left ie. a true reversed image) or a saggital image which shows the left as anterior and the right as posterior, but with no ability to determine left or right just from the photo. The techs also have the ability to flip the images on screen, just to make it harder!
I think the best way to check would be to ask if your placenta is anterior or posterior. For example if baby is on the left and your placenta is anterior then it could be a saggital image with no ramzi clues and you cannot guess off the picture without knowing for sure which plane the image was taken in. If you have baby on the left and a posterior placenta you know it can't be a saggital image, so you can make an accurate ramzi guess, does that make sense?
