How awful Mocha. I know he hasn't looked after himself in the past, but it is still horrible to see your family suffering.

How awful Mocha. I know he hasn't looked after himself in the past, but it is still horrible to see your family suffering.
BTW, I know what it is!!!
Thanks again, peony. The hardest part is seeing someone who was once such a proud, private man (and well respected - he was a judge) lying in a bed wasting away. He only retired a year ago!
You sneaky sneak, peony!!! I just saw your news in your other thread. Congrats!!!!!!!
Congrats Peony...so so so so excited for you!!
Peony--what is it??????
Ahhhh--saw it! Congrats Peony!!
Mocha, I hope your dad is able to be comfortable. :(
Auroara, did you have another romantic night with DH last night? I have to admit I was jealous as DH and I sat on the couch and watched boring TV shows and didn't talk to each other.... I was thinking about you and your DH walking out under the stars and enjoying each other's company.
Is anyone else having a hard time bending over? I can't at all anymore, because I am HUGE, and I am also having trouble turning over in bed, getting up off the couch, etc. So uncomfortable, and I have 3 months left to go!
Awwwww, Mocha,she's adorable!
Oops - forgot to edit my personal info out of my post. Here we go again:
Well, ladies - I just came back from my 3D ultrasound. I was relieved the hear the baby's still a girl . She was very cute - all curled up in a ball with her foot right in front of her face. My kids loved seeing their baby sister. I have to look at some baby pictures to confirm it, but I *think* maybe she looks like me

Mocha, she is adorable! I love those 3D pictures--they are amazing.
Here is my gigantic 26 week belly. Attachment 3410
Beautiful belly, Hobber. I should post a more recent one of mine too!
Those 3D scans ARE cool, aren't they? This is my first time getting one - I figured since it is my last pregnancy I should experience that at least once. It was also cool to bring my kids - my older kids were very excited by the whole experience.
Mocha that is so awesome...what a gorgeous little face she has!!!!!!!! I'm so excited for you....I don't think we'll do be doing a 3D scan because my DH is really against it...I dunno why, but I think it would help DS1 "understand" better what in momma's belly!
Well our power got restored late last nite. Yesterday, my DH and I looked through photo albums of either one of us growing up, then some of our earlier pictures when we first moved in together..(ugh there were pics of me with awful dyed red hair!!) and then we took a shower together.....and well, I guess you guys know where it went from there....
As excited as I can get to power back and move on with our lives and get our kids back, it was a very, very interesting last three days, very romantic, with lots of time talking to my DH....think it was kind of nice to "unplug" if you will.
Hobber, I love the belly shot...I just looked at that belly and I could see a boy inside....really, I still have a gut feeling you'll have the happiest surprise of you life in October :)
Just noticed how trashy my window looks in that picture--it has plastic over it because we are painting the house right now. Our painter is taking forever, and it is super hot, andI hate not being able to openthe windows and get some air! (we don't have AC).
Auroara, I think your time with DH sounds awesome, and like I said, I am jealous! I wonder if we could "unplug" around here? I just doubt I can get everyone to do that willingly!
Mocha, did your kids feel like the baby was real after seeing the u/s?
My older boys were fascinated and asking questions the whole time. When we got home they wanted to watch the DVD right away. My youngest was a little bored, but I think he did 'get' that he was seeing his little sister.
Here's a belly shot I took last Saturday, at exactly 28 weeks.

Mocha, you are so cute and still wearing skinny jeans! Wow!
Well, I wouldn't exactly call them skinny jeans, but thanks for the compliment anyway ;). I've already gained 45lbs!!!
LE diet, remember? When I got my BFP I weighed about 105 lbs or possibly even less! I'm at 158 now .
I weighed about 160 when I got pregnant!! I gained 20 lbs on the HE diet.
Yes, well that's one thing I don't envy you boy swayers - while all the eating sounds glorious to me (since that's my normal lifestyle), it sucks to have to gain so much weight before even getting pregnant. Before all of this dieting nonsense, you and I weren't too far off weight-wise. One nice thing about starting out so skinny is that even though I've gained so much weight, I'm still smaller than I was at this point in pregnancy with ds3. I was just looking back on my diary from my last pregnancy (something I haven't even thought about doing this time around ), and at 26 weeks (so 2 weeks earlier than I am now), I was 160lbs, but had only gained 22lbs! This pregnancy I was 158 lbs at 28 weeks but had gained 45 lbs! With my twins I had gained only 35 lbs by 26 weeks (I gained 75lbs overall that pregnancy).
I will post a new pic soon too...forewarned...I am HUGE! I get asked on a daily basis by students.."how much longer?" I want to have the word "september" tempoarily tattoed on my head!
Super cute bump and I LOVE how you look in your jeans!
I have gained about 20 lbs so far this time, and I bet I will gain about 10-15 more. I always seem to end up at around 200 lbs every time, no matter where I start. It's weird. It's like my body wants to be that big no matter what.
I hope I can get back down to 130 or 140 after this pregnancy. I will feel so much better! That HE diet was sort of fun, but hard too, because even though I love snacking, I usually eat mindlessly (and lots of sweets and carbs) but the HE diet requires a lot of balanced meals, carbs + protein together, etc, and I just don't usually eat like that.
Awww such a cute tummy!!
How are you going TTC5?
Great belly pics ladies! Mine isn't too big in the morning but it gets bigger during the day!
Yes, I was wondering about you too TTC5. Still on bedrest? Any more spotting?
mine is not really very big yet either.. Feeling alot more movement tho which is nice. Still cant think of any names its so hard picking a name!
Pinkin, I wish I had that "problem" (being small)--I am so huge! I wish I wasn't! I am so uncomfortable. I can't imagine how I will be able to even MOVE by October!
I can echo the body image stuff.
With my first pregnancy I started at 150 and by this point last time I was 175; at delivery I was 204. THIS time, I started around 135 (during the fall I had been a lean/toned 127, the LE diet actually made me bloated and gain weight) and now I'm 163. I hope I can slow down my gain a little bit...I'm just so hungry all of the time. My bump sticks out a TON! My mom likes to compare me to a gal that she works with (she's about a month ahead of me).
I had my 24 week OB appointment today and it went well. I'm measuring a little ahead (just like with DS1) and my doctor commented on how active the baby was (I had already told her that I was feeling this one move ALL of the time!). My blood pressure is awesome and 98/50...they always tease me about how I'm barely alive. :D
Lynxie--you blood pressure is low! Mine is usually low too, but not as low as yours!
So I just fell (tripped) walking into the house. I can't believe I am such a klutz! The step was gone from in front of the door, since we are having the house painted, and while trying to swing my leg up high enough to get inside, I caught my flip flop on the doormat and fell. I think my shin took the brunt of it, and I caught myself with my hands, and I didn't hit my belly--but should worry? They always ask at the doctor if I have had any falls recently. :worry:
Hobber, for some reason mine goes down a bit while pregnant - I'm normally in the 110s/60s.
I totally fell off a curb my first pregnancy (mostly knees, but looked like a nerd and rolled onto my back and probably looked like a turtle)! I just paid attention to how baby was "acting" for the next few days and never had an issue. :)
So far the baby is moving just fine. My leg is so bruised up, and my ankle hurts too--I am a wreck! I am afraid that by tomorrow I will be all stiff and sore! I just need to be more careful, I guess.
My first pregnancy, I ran over my own foot with a car (way too long a story to explain). It hurt so badly! I am a complete moron and klutz when pregnant. :sigh:
Loving all the fab bump pics ladies :D and Mocha love that pic of your lil girl, so cute. I love the 3d/4d pics.
Pinkin so glad your feeling you little man oving more, i too am getting more movement which is nice. I feel him more in the evening when all boys are in bed and i get to finally sit and rest for abit.
I get so clumsy in pregnancy dropping stuff and do silly stuff like put stuff in the fridge that doesnt belong in there...like polish etc...just silly thing. In DS1 pregnancy i went out and went to phone DH pulled out my mobile only to realise i brought home telephone out instead of my mobile
Well i took my nan out shopping yesterday as we have a party to go to and nothing to wear and obviously we saw some baby clothes and cant believe she said it but she said 'i wish baby was a girl, we could get her some cute clothes' i mean really come on nan, thanks for that, how insensitive! I just bit my tongue and ingnored her  why do people just not think before they say something??!! ARGH!
sorry to hear that HappyLea...that kind of stuff is a stab in our heart!
Hobbers, I am glad to hear baby is moving good. You stiff today?
When preg with DS1 I was makking homemade mancotti and was a bit upset when I was making it, so I put the plastic lid on top of it and threw it in the oven. Well I was too hormonal to notice but a weird smell was coming out of the oven, along with smoke, ...my DH came home and found that I had made "plasticotti" lol the plastic lid completely melted over the mancotti! Not only could we not eat it, the whole apt. stunk!
