Doula, I've never gotten 2 days of +OPKs but I've heard of other women doing so. Man...You've been on such a rollercoaster! I'm hoping it's baby time for you this month! I'm so glad that you never really left this thread...:bigsmile:

I broke down and tested this a.m....BFN so I'm thinking I didn't ovulate this cycle. I don't think I O'ed last cycle either as these last 2 cycles failed to produce +OPKs. That means I only O'ed in March which was my first AF after delivery of DS#2 (13 mos later). I'm down in the dumps today, especially since it's really looking like I didn't O. I'm hoping that the failure to O was from travel and stress/grief over the dog situation and not from being too thin. When I was a few lbs. lighter, I would only get my cycle about 6 times a year but I didn't care b/c I was young and definitely not TTC. I'll take another test tomorrow but I'm not very hopeful. I guess I'll start up Vitex when AF comes (hopefully soon!). DH will be gone for the next cycle so I guess I'll be taking some time off. If I can't get a BFP, I'm reaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllyyyyyyyy hoping one of you will soon. My bets are on you, TTC5!!! :luck: :cheer: :luck:

Begonia: I think I bought a pack of like 50 or something, so I have a ton of them! LOL Still BFN though today at 10dpo fmu. I got my bfp's with my both my boys at 11dpo so I know that is my standard however...I keep hearing with girls you get earlier bfp's so I think I am either not pregnant or if I am it must be another boy. Oh well, at least we maek really cute boys and this was an oops month so go figure.

Stella- :D I think I peed a little too when my hubby came put with that gem! I hope you're feeling well!

So guess what!! I got a true + opk this am at 9:30!! Yippee! I took pics of all my opk's from the past few days so I'll get them uploaded and see what you guys think. We just went ahead an BD last night, again popped a benadryl, did my lime margarita douching;), used replens. This time I laid still for 5 mins and then jumped and dumped into my diva cup, did a replens finger, put lime into the diva and inserted it. It was so damn uncomfortable I took it out 10 mins later....hoping some little girlies made it out of the lime cocktail! Anyway, I took another benadryl this am and turned all my fans on in the house.... Any other ideas from the girls ttc pink? Should we try the same thing tonight? Or just hope the past days was enough? Eeeeeek! Maybe I'll O tomorrow....or today. I'm going to be waiting for O pains:) Take care everyone! XO

Edited to add pic- The very bottom opk was taken at 12:30 pm and the 2 above it were done at 9:30am today. I hope this means that I'll actually O!! What are everyone's times from dark opk to O?
Wondering if we should just abstain now....If I were to actually O in 8 hours that would put me at a 1 day cutoff....I guess if I feel myself Oing I could try O+12.....sorry...rambling....LOL

Hmmmmm....are you certain you O'd? This is such a weird cycle TTC5! I really hope that this is just a really laid back little boy:D and he's taking his sweet time getting settled:) BLUE DUST~~~~

As for not O'ing...what the heck is going on in this thread!!! I hope all of our bodies get the memo and start cooperating with our TTC plans!!! I'd say vitex is a great idea....although you never know...I'm ovulating on cycle day 27! if I o tomorrow. Are you nursing your youngest? If so you could totally have longer cycles with later O. Are you still using opk's? FX'd that you're either pregnant or O'ing later than you thought:D

How exciting about the +OPK DoulaMama! I won't advise you on timing as I'm not TTCgirl so don't know the protocol there! And I would tell you what we did for ours except they were both unplanned, LOL! Pink dust for you!!!

Holy cow Emmy that is a lot of sticks to pee on! I love it!!! I did go buy some FRER so I'm sure I'll POAS next week. Sparingly though, it's like soaking a $5 bill in urine with those babies!

TTC5 I am just dumbfounded at this point. Please go test again! You were POAS way before you could possibly get a BFP so what's the hold up now?!?! :-)

FWIW I think the early BFP is an OWT. One of my besties has 2 boys and is one of those freak shows who got BFPs with both at 8 DPO. That's right. EIGHT. Who does that?!?! Oh well. I luvs her even though she clearly has freakishly strong urine.

Saw this in New Posts. I have no idea what Tamara said but I can assure you from HT world, embryos take 5 days minimum to reach blast stage and then it has to hatch and implant. We only see BFP's at 4 days after a 5-day transfer(and that is usually only with a twin pregnancy) which is the equivalent of 9 dpo. Not possible at 3 dpo at all.

OK, I’ve officially left my “pitty-party for one” and am back, preggers or not!

First of all, a BFP at 3dpo is just not possible…I think she must have miscalculated or something, lol. Just can’t imagine it!

TTC5 – Hold it…when’s the last time you did take a test??? Just like Doula said, you’ve got a laid back little guy in there…BFP BLUE DUST!!!

Begonia – How can you stand it?!?! You’re only what, 3 dpo now? If I go, I’m still cheering you on and sending any last particle of BLUE DUST your way!

Doula – Nice pics! Wish I could give you some answers…I say just keep on having margaritas w/DH until you get a BFP and who cares about when you O. I really don’t think it matters gender-wise (but that’s just me). Yep…still nursing my littlest guy who is 16 mos. FF says I O’d on cd 26, similar to you. I’ll go back on Vitex for sure if this is not it for me. I'm thinking PINK MARGARITA THOUGHTS for you. I wonder if she'll smell like a margarita when she comes out!?!

Emmy – You are a rockstar! How are you so laid back about all of this after peeing on all those tests, lol?!?! I’m so impressed at your “wait and see” attitude. I need to take a page from your playbook! FX crossed for you tomorrow. I'm sending you TONS of BFPINKP VIBES!!! I just looked in my notes & saw I didn’t get a BFP until 12dpo w/DS#2 and it was soooo faint. W/DS#1, I have no clue how far along I was since he was a big surprise and I was already at the puking stage when I tested.

Preggers or not, I'll just hang until AF or a BFP show up and stop obsessing about whether or not I O'ed...

OOB I'm so glad you're hanging in here with us! It ain't over yet love!!! And I will gladly take that blue dust and throw some pink your way :-) A lot of pink. Because not only do I have 2 girls but it seems like almost all of my friends (save the one with 2 boys) seem to have girls, LOL. So take it all, you pink swayers!!! Anyhow yes I am only 3 dpo, but I just decided today that I am, in fact, pregnant. There, I said it. I'm even better than T b/c I don't even need to POAS to tell me. I just know it to be true :rofl:

Hugs to you, TTC5! I am cheering you on for a July (or August, should you choose to wait) BFP, love! Your body really gave you some crazy good symptoms this time around ... I think it was definitely trying to tell you it wants you to get knocked up again soon :-)

Tested this am and still nothing, this did happen though with my last son. I test alot (lol) and I did not get my faint line untill the evening of 11DPO. I will count myself tomorrow for sure if BFN and go ahead and start my vitex and saw palmetto again. Been off since May 5th.

We don't seem to be having much luck lately ladies!!! Surely next month will be better :fingers:

As for me I guess I'm still early ... 4 DPO. And really no symptoms. Which makes sense though, from what I've read, symptoms really wouldn't start until after implantation and I'm too early to have had that happen.

Well, the baby put a wrench in our BD plans last night...It was so weird. He sleeps so soundly the first portion of the night and it was almost like he KNEW what we were trying to do! My hubby really believes that his mother(died 5 years ago) was poking the baby....LOL! I do believe in spirits etc...it's just a little strange thinking about her looking in on us while BD'ING!!! Also, my hubby is SO not in the mood for BDing all the time...which I'm certain is the licorice root talking. He's been on it for 3+ weeks now(goes off for 2 in a few days once I know I've ovulated) and his sex drive is WAY DOWN! That stuff really works:) Anyway, I'm not too sure how long those poor Benadryl/lime/Replens/Sylk sperm are going to live inside of me. If I O today by midnight it'll be a 2 and 3 day cut-off and if it's not til tomorrow then it'll be a 3-4 day cut-off:( I'm unsure if we should just keep BDing or not??? Do you guys really think that timing is not of importance??? Maybe I'll try for O+12 or something? AHHH! I hate this! I have 3 O babies so I'm a little bit scared to DTD today or tomorrow. Either way I'll most likely be joining the true 2WW in a day or two:)

Oh yeah- two more questions- do you guys get fade outs? I had the darkest opk yesterday at 12pm. The rest were + but not as dark as that one. This morning it's still basically + but now it's the exact same colour as the control line. I'm thinking it's going to get lighter and lighter through the day. Do any of you actually feel ovulation? If so, how long after your + do you usually O?

I don't feel O DM, but I do get fade outs. I think I O fairly fast after my first +.. definitely within 24 hours, just based on CP/CM, since I don't temp.

As for timing I really, really don't think it is that important. I think if you wanted to DTD again you can, since with all the DTD you've done sperm count must be getting lower, right? We DTD all.the.time when we got pg with DD2. Pretty much from the day AF left through the end of the month ... I don't recall when I O'd since we weren't really tracking, but I would bet we DTD on or around just based on how frequently we were BD.

FX for you! And LOL about the spirit poking the baby :-) Not saying it couldn't happen, but sure is funny if it did!

True! I forgot about that aspect! Duh. I feel O pains so with the last 2 kiddos I would get pain in the am and do the deed about 6 hours later(with most likely a 5-7 day abstinence because I'm not a high sex drive girl). This time around it's night and day difference especially with the diet change(although not huge it's still a difference) and the supps etc. I guess I could load up on the "junk" in the good ole va-jay-jay and see what happens... ;) Thanks Begonia:) How are you doing??
