It's almost 1am here. I think we're just going to dtd right now since we wouldn't get another chance till midnight tomorrow. So it's either now or 24 hours from now.
I see, I would probably do the same. Better do it a bit early to make sure not missing the egg, than taking the chance and risk of being too late. GL!

Dang dang dang!!!!! So I tested this morning (big shock, I know) and when the pee was moving across I was SURE I saw the test line go pink. Super duper excited....had to leave midtest to deal with other kids. I have to tell, those few minutes I was over the moon and planning was in overdrive.
Came back to a stark negative!!!! Well, the McGyver in me *thought* I saw a hint of a shadow...so I played a game of shadows then decided it was my imagination :'(
I'm telling you, this TTC'ing is messing with my head, my heart AND my vision. So, of course, any rational TTC'er (haha) decides they have to take ANOTHER test because there is no way that could happen. I watched the whole process to see if I was crazy. Exact same freaking thing.
Hope others had better luck than I this morning!!! Fitblonde, how about you?

I believe I'm 11 DPO (maybe 10, but I'm thinking 11 is right). I know, still time. I keep doing the math. If implantation happened 7 DPO where the HCG levels might be. Sigh. Early testing is the craziest thing (I decided this morning). If kids can wait for Christmas/birthday etc., then I should be able to wait 3 freaking days until AF is due, lol. Not that this will stop me. But really, it's only 14 days to have to wait....why does it have to feel like 400?????

Ha! It does feel like an eternity doesn't it! Try and wait until the morning (if you can!) Do you have any symptoms?

No symptoms. Except the ones in my head. I've had a sore/swollen throat for a few days, losing my voice. I keep thinking I have tugging in my lower abdomen (not cramping) and intermittent breast tingliness, but I think it's more psychosomatic than anything else. I am peeing more, but I think it's because I'm drinking more for my throat. AGONY, lol.
I'm actually thinking of hitting up the $ store across the street on my lunch, how sad is that....

Well I really hope you get a bfp I had more symptoms the month I didn't get my bfp The body has a strange way of tricking us I think! My very first symptom this time was heartburn followed by a sore throat too! Go to that $ store!!!

haha, sadly I did. I'm pretty sure it's an imaginary line....soooooooo not really there. I have to do all sorts of crazy manuevers to catch a glimpse. BUT, here's to hoping that it isn't ALL in my imagination and it grows into something recognizable as a line :P

Hi everyone. ..hope everyone is doing well - I am trying to stay away from GD so I don't obsess. lol
I will probably get +opk day after tomorrow but had our unplanned attempt today. I hate that things don't go as planned...last month was a dud but hope this month still counts even with 2 days cutoff
Should i start counting days tomorrow or after I get my +opk??

I know how you feel about that testing, it's just an addiction! I would look at those sticks so many times in so many different angles and lights and then hide them when dh came to see what I was doing. :-D
I'm hiding it at work!!! No, nothing can be caught by camera. Hell, I'm not sure I'm catching it with my naked eye (maybe if it's turned JUST the right way, there MIGHT be a hint of a line). My new motto is sometimes an evap line is just an evap line. But......
I've now smudged the whole freakin test so it looks like a line (but in the wrong spot). I was trying to smuggle it from one spot to another in my bra (embarrassed smilie here) and I think the heat of my skin caused some weird reaction.
I spend so much time in the bathroom at home now it's no wonder DH isn't concerned, haha.
Thanks for the finger crossing and luck wishing. I'm desperate to know!

Odd -- Do you mean for the 2ww? If that's what you're referencing, then I'd start counting after I think I've o'ed. I got my (almost positive opk) on a Thursday night, but I think I o'ed on Sunday. So Monday is 1 DPO. Did I answer anything even remotely to what you were asking???

Today I am 7DPO (according to FF) in my first cycle since losing my son at 19+6 in March. And I crazily tested this morning and it was negative. Even though it's super early, I had this ridiculous thought in my head that I would get a gorgeous positive at 7DPO, the earliest I've ever gotten one. I think I'm crazy lol. But at last in here, I know you all understand that "crazy" haha.
Hi Bloom4314 :) You've gotten a BFP at 7 DPO in a previous pregnancy??? Wow, you are my new idol. Yes, I do understand that level of "crazy". I think it's pretty main****** around here (or maybe I should just speak for myself, lol).
I'm sorry to hear of the loss of you son. Such a heartbreaking experience to have.

Nooooo! No 7DPO positive here. I just meant it would have been the earliest I've ever gotten one. The earliest I've gotten on is 10DPO and it was mega light! So even thinking one at 7DPO was possible was crazy ;)Quote:

I wish we were able to buy tests that cheaply in Australia! The cheapest I've seen them is around the $7 mark, and that was the blue dye ones. The FRER are about $12 each! I bought a bulk pack of the OPKs on eBay and they came with a handful of cheap dip-strip HPTs as well so I'm using those at the moment.
Okay so I tested this morning and I'm not sure if it's a very very very faint BFP, an evap line, the indent where the line should be or I'm just seeing things. It's easier to see as it dries. I'll upload some pics even though you really can't see anything! I'm going to get my husband to check once he gets up.

Fitblonde-- I can't see anything on my phone, but I hope it's the beginning of a BFP for you! My best friend got what she thought was an evap line on 10dpo since it was way after the time limit, but the next day she had a blazing BFP on a FRER and a digital! So fingers crossed for you!
I took another opk today at noon and it seemed either the same or maybe even a smidge lighter than last night's. We went ahead and BD last night so hopefully I'm O'ing today or tomorrow. Today is CD11 for me.
Fitblonde, I see something too! I didn't at first, but when I double checked, I can see something in the first pic. I can't tell if there's color or not, but I see a line :D

Sooooo....my one test had a second pinky line show up hours after I took the test. It's still negative, right?
Angie you are just like me. Lol. I check the tests over and over. I shine the light on my phone through them to get a better look. Lol.
I'm not sure if it's still negative. How long was the test sitting? A few hours or the whole day? If it was a few hours then it could be your bfp. Fx
4 hours. I'm going with negative until I get a positive in the time frame. That's my story anyway. :P

Nah I'm in Australia. I used my FRER yesterday and it was negative. It is only 10am here lol. The FR ones like I used this morning gave me an earlier positive with my son than the FRER, so am just going to use them. Plus theyre cheaper!
Ahhhhh.....cheaper is better! Especially if they are more effective at getting the job done :) good luck! (again)
I know, I didn't know how expensive tests were. $9 for one FRER :-/ that's ridiculous.
Holycrap..I guess my waiting game begins sooner than expected. We dtd this morning on a whim..and I J&d; I was supposed to ovulate on Saturday but checked tested just now to be sure and there it is. Big fat smiley.
I am so nervous! ! Of all days, decided to go out for big fat lunch right after we dtd..
