XX, wow, high temps despite oral temping & EWCM (as the estrogen causing that fertile CM could be affecting your temp, too, such that it would be even lower if your P level weren't so high, possibly bc you are pregnant)...so exciting! Fx fx fx!

I may test tomorrow. My LP is usually 12-14 days and it has been under before but not longer unless I've been pregnant. That is why I am trying to hold out and test at 16dpo. I just don't want to know if it will be a chemical. I would rather believe I Oed later than I thought, or AF is heavier than usual. Plus I am trying not to symptom spot...but it is hard! 😬😬😬

Dutchgirl, I am a 30 min drive South of Bonn, on the West side of the Rhine in a rural/farming area. I haven't been on FB much since my miscarriage in 2012, and I plan to avoid it until I am pregnant again (it is too hard seeing all the babies!). But I'd love to add you, as I really need more friends over here - I haven't made many bc of where I live and my health issues, plus I've only been living here since mid-2012. You can pm me your fb info or I can pm you if you prefer. Oh and I asked about your DD. I would be only 5-6 days behind. :)

I am really tempted Maiden! I guess there is no harm and if it is negative it is not much different than AF just showing up. At least I'll get an advanced warning if I test 😉!
I have been nauseous for the past four days with today being the worst! It has lasted ALL day- the dizzy type too! It could just be nice progesterone production though, which I may have lacked in other cycles. If I don't get my BFP now, it is looking like I have an excellent chance in the upcoming months! I'm happy either way! Plus, I am intrigued by acupuncture and would like to give it a try.
I'll update if I test! I'll probably be a mess either way and will need some support 😊!

As for me, I'm super moody so I think AF is nearly here. Next month is our last month trying. Then we are stopping :( I'm a believer in whats meant to be will be but we have been trying for over a year now and nothing where as when I fell pregnant with my boys I fell first month TTC. I think it could be the universe telling us something.

Oh mars I hope this is your month. I was getting really down early on in the tww as if it didn't happen this month we were going to have to stop trying until at least june due to family stuff and I was worried hubby was going to change his mind as he's very much the if it's meant to be type too. I felt so much that this was our last chance so much so that I was going to add in extra attempts before O to give it a better shot at bfp but due to Xmas craziness and ov happening Xmas day we only got 1 attempt in 3 days before o so I thought we were out, but it happened!! So I really hope it happens for you too!! I Wil have my fingers and toes crossed for you.
Oh and my advice for anyone wanting to get a bfp stock up on something you won't be able to use/need whilst pregnant (you know like Murphys law, if your prepared you won't need it) Before my first I bought 6 months worth of sanitary products, boom bfp, had 3 kids before I needed to buy anymore!
This time it was alcohol, stocked up for Xmas and now have half a dozen bottles of my favorite wine and a bottle of Baileys sitting in the cupboard taunting me.
Thanks Missy, we only had one attempt 2 or 3 days before O so fingers crossed. My kids are being feral today so I'm feeling very drained and second guessing again if I really want a 3rd. Then I see a baby or think of my kids with a sibling and I get emotional :) I just don't want a huge gap between my kids, there s 2yrs between my boys and my youngest is going to be 3 soon and I just feel that if we keep going there could be a big gap and then they won't be as close.

Oh I'm the same mars, every time the kids have acted up in the last few months hubby just looks at me and says "and you seriously want more?" But then I see how upset my daughter gets when yet another of her friends gets a sister and I knew I had to try one last time for her. I'm an only child and I desperately wanted a sister when I was growing up (my mum actually wanted 6 kids but life just didn't go that way for her). So she'll either get her wish or another chance for an awesome sister in law. Hubby was really worried about age gaps too. We had 19mths between 1 &2 which was hell! They were then 6 & 4.5 when #3 came along (3 days after his big sisters b day & over a month early!) And this time will be 9,7.5 &3 when this one joins us. I actually like the bigger gaps more. My daughter was an awesome help at 6yrs with my youngest so she will definitely be mummy #2 this time around at 9. My 7 year old is very introverted and enjoys his own company so he's not fussed either way and my youngest at 3 is at least semi independent and understands how to be helpful.
That's so nice Missy. I'm sure your kids are going love having another sibling. My oldest starts school this year. I think we at both getting on each other's nerves and just want it to start already!!

Thought blood test showed positives sooner... Or it's a chemical?
Negative as in the HCG was too low? How many weeks would you be? Maybe go back in a weeks time and see if it's doubled.

I totally understand you that you can't stand looking at baby pics.
Missy you really made me laugh about your doubs of havinf another baby. I feel exactly the same when my boys are fighting or yelling like crazy. I allways told everyone that i don't want to have more than 2 kids because i have only 2 hands to grab them when they try to run away or don't want to walk on :bigsmile:
My boys asked me a couple of days ago if i didn't want to have a baby girl. Or a baby boy, that was ok too. I told them that then they must help me with diapers and stuff and the oldest one was thrilled! So cute :heart: He just turned 8 so he will be a big help i guess.
Got a bit of cramping going on on my right side. It's not AF painful just enough to notice. Urgh I am not testing, I am not testing!!!
Bree did they tell you the level or did they just do a qualative yes/no type test? If they just did the yes/no type it will say no unless the level is over 25 but sensitive hpt will pick up levels at 10 so if your levels are between 10-25 that type of blood test will say no but you are pg. If they did a quantative test then it will give them the exact number. So if it shows your number is 20 then they know something is going on but not 'technically' enough to say definitely pregnant yet but in 2 days time it should double and be at least 40. Did any of that make sense? Are they going to repeat the test if still no AF? If you have a repeat test definitely ask for the quantative test!

Dutchgirl yep totally thought I was done at two for awhile (and noone could understand why we would want more when we had one of each gender) but tried for a sister for my daughter and got ds 2. Definitely thought I was done then but he is so amazing and makes me want more lol. I've asked my daughter soo many times if she would want us to have another baby even if it turns out to be a boy, she still says yes but gets annoyed that I keep saying it could be a boy. We are going to shock a lot of people when we announce this pregnancy and even more so when they find out it was planned!
Here as well! Nobody expect us to have another one! The boys are 8 and nearly 6.
I'm a bit scared of reactions of people like, o you're going to be so busy, how will you cope? (I work for a boss and have my onw comagny).
And i'm also a bit afraid of people who will say that this time it must be a girl. Or look at me with pity when it will be a boy again.

I hate those comments :( Everyone keeps telling me to try for a girl or am I going to have another, you know a girl? Then I have some friends who keep saying "why do you want another, don't have anymore. Just stick with two".
Bre, those tests are definitely BFPs and I hope new bloodwork proves it soon.
Mars, I don't even have children and I'm stressing about age gaps, as I'm already too old to have as many children as I wanted and I want BF for 3 years for each child but what if BFing prevents me from Oing...argh! My brother is 7 years younger and it's an awful age gap, with just us two. Anyway...I really hope this is your month! And you are so thoughtful to do this for your daughter. I wish my mum had!

Im dreading telling people as know all will get "oh you will be hoping for a girl" and yes this maybe true but it belittles the idea of a boy and makes it out like a consolation prize! Also had the "twos enough" from my mother so goodness knows how she will take my news! At end of day its my life so tough!! Still annoying though!

Mars, *hugs*. It happened easy for us the first two times, too, even though I was sick with Lyme disease. I don't know how you've kept up trying so long. Do you think age is a factor or maybe the girl sway has your health down? I hear you on the age gap, too, but since I only have one I'll take a big gap rather than nothing. What can we do? *sigh* Missy, I'm also an only child myself. Any tips on the sibling experience?
Ugh, what do you do with toddlers at night? She's so aware of being wet now, I'm up a couple of times some nights to change her. My temp didn't rise much today (maybe off since I was up, it sometimes goes lower from that), but my chest is a little sore, so o happened, right? Hope it's up more tomorrow and beyond!
Bre- I had my bloods taken in November because my dr. was starting me on provera. My hcg level was 2 so they told me I wasn't pregnant. I started the provera and two days later got a positive ic preg test. Called the dr., scared stupid at that point because I had taken two of the provera pills already, and they had me come in for another test. It was 25 two days later.... How many dpo are you again? Maybe take another test at home tomorrow if it's still positive have your bloods done again! Fingers crossed for you!! Good luck darlin'!
I am 12dpo and still no sign of AF! My temp is still high, and CM is very creamy still. I have decided to wait to test. I get cramps off and on, and I don't remember if I had this with the boys. They are not like AF cramps, but they make me hesitant to test. I usually have a 12 day LP so the longer I wait to test, I can be sure of a BFP. According to my chart, I may have had an implantation dip on 9dpo, and I doubt I would get a positive on a test his soon. I will definitely test on Saturday, if AF stays away!

Bre- I think you just caught things too early! I would keep testing and then go back in for the quantitative test. Make sure it is the quantitative one, because it will detect even the slightest amount of HCG as early as 10dpo!

My LP is usually 12-14 day long. I want to test at 16dpo, because I'll most likely get a BFP. Plus I want to be sure AF is late. AF is never that late when I ovulate on CD13! It could still potentially be a chemical, but I haven't had any spotting yet. Right now I am content being ignorant- at least I can still hope I am pregnant right now! I have had nausea now for the 5th day in a row. I keep telling myself it is my hormones rebalancing to keep me from getting too excited! My temp was nice and high at 98.77 this morning....eek 😬😬Quote:
