She is very concerned about the picc line coming from her. She wanted to pull it out and we had to tell her no and she got really sad and hugged her. This was after the happy pictures. She does love her baby, a whole whole lot

Burakoam, how's your little one doing? My DS1 had a similar story- 8 lbs 13 oz at 36 weeks and a few days, spent some time in the hospital with a picc line for low blood sugars.

Currently in an incubator having a tube feed. Hopefully we can go home in about 10 days.
Vaginal delivery but did get prepped for c section because of his heart rate kept dropping, luckily c section was avoided.
He seems to be getting cuter each time I go to the nursery and check on him. [emoji170]

Fox she went home today!!!! We are so happy. I took all the bandaids off her feet and kissed them and then the bandaid where her Picc had been and kissed that and promised her no more. Been feeding and snuggling.
Any of you lady's had a chord bleed a tiny bit before stump fell off? 4 babies and I've never had them bleed.. very tiny amount and it's brown not red but it freaked me out when it happened

About 3 hours so that gave us time to get to the hospital, then he was born 4 hours after that.Quote:

Yesterday morning. We had our first really bad night last night. I have yet to return to any form of caffeine in my diet (despite sleep being short and sweet on good nights) so im not really sure what happened other than she wanted to be wide awake all night but then the screaming came when her brain was like "no silly, you need to sleep to grow" and thus from midnight until 7 am i nursed constantly, gave 2 bottles of formula, tried her swing, our bed, my arms..no avail. Finally at 7 am she had mercy on me and passed out on my chest on her belly. i dont even know how a 12 day old baby managed to pull off that party, and all i can see as the paranoid anxious mother is the damage it had to do to her brain to not rest but 20-30 minutes at a time for that big block of time :(
Oh, hang in there Burakoam! It will get better, or you both will find ways to cope! My DS1 never slept hardly at all, I truly mean it, until he was 2.5 years old. He STILL requires less sleep than a normal human! He is the youngest but smartest is his class and is extremely socially and emotionally intelligent. Remember that it is hardest on us when little ones don't sleep enough or like they typically should.
I hope you both get it figured out soon and this passes!

Look at your gorgeous girl, too cute. My ds2 slept for one hour each night for his first week out of hospital but he is a great sleeper now, take rest when you can, these are always the toughest days, to be honest am not looking forward to it! xQuote:

I haven't but she arrived somewhat quickly early hours of this morning!! 5 days late and weighing 9lb - my biggest baby!! Labour was 3 hours start to finish and I'm very much in love!!
