You have had an even longer journey than me momamia! I dont know how you stay so positive xx

What is pgd?
PGD isnt allowed in australia unless there are medical reasons to do so. Our oldest DS has autism which is on the "allowed" list, however we were still refused by the ethics committee that govern it in our state as we only had 1 autistic child not 2. Ridiculous! We could have potentially applied in other states but that would have added to the costs & difficulties substantially & we just dont have time on our side to keep getting refused.
Oh wow!! :(
Some cycles are better than others. Sometimes I get super bummed and kind of take a bit of a break. I'll put away my thermometer and opks and just wing it. After a few months, I always end up coming back to it. I think it's because a lot of people in mine and dh's families are having babies right now. It makes me want another one that much more. I can tell you that I've definitely done a lot of crying and yelling about still waiting for a baby but I still think of holding a baby in my arms and that brings me right back to ttc. So don't feel bad if you have to take a break from ttc or eat some chocolate if that's what it takes to get your head back in the game. Remember that we're here for you if/when you need support and we won't be upset if you need to take a break from the boards. (I've done that a few times too!) :bighug:
My Ovulation Chart
just ate way too much chocolate but I figure in the 2ww it isnt going to matter that much. Im just having a really bad day. Struggling big time with my 3yr olds behaviour & my eldest has been sick. Sometimes it just feels like I am on a never ending treadmill & I cant see the end in sight. I am sure I will feel better tomorrow. Thankyou ladies for being able to vent. It really means a lot.
Hugs kc!! I understand the difficulties. I have been swaying for years now technically. I swayed one way or another for my last 2DSs. It is really tough. Hang in there and praying you get your BFP real soon!
Robin - just an FYI, since you did a trigger shot, OPKs won't work for you. They pick up the HCG from the trigger and will be positive. You might want to test out the trigger if you have some cheap tests that way you will know if the trigger is gone and you get your real BFP!!!
awwww kc this is a whirlwind of emotions,, im actually finding swaying more emotional than when i done ht, but even with ht we are still not guaranteed our desired gender, i was devastated when i couldn't find out the gender until transfer day, after all that money and hormones bouncing, but in a way looking at it now it was for the best as i probably wouldn't have this crazy bouncing boy sat on my lap :) i never thought that i would have 6 sons by 37 but i know until my dd comes along i will never feel complete :( keep positive and the great thing about this site is that we all have similar feelings on this journey so we are never alone...
well i was so thrilled about finally getting a solid smiley last night on my advanced clearblue but then an hour later i just done the normal clearblue digital that goes from negative to solid without the flashing and that was still negative,,,how can i have one solid positive and one negative?? i had a good read though and i see that the advance one tells you 4 days before where the normal digital is 2,,so hopefully im correct and i should have a solid smiley on the normal digital tomorrow,,aww confusing especially when to bd so i bd last night and i will again when i have a solid on the other opk to cover me,, my husband said he feels like a bloody rabbit with all this sex and releasing lol, is anyone thinking of doing the harmony test once we get our bfp? they are so expensive but it would be nice to know so early x
I was very unsure about doing the harmony test last pregnancy before the miscarriage. Its $500 here so very expensive. Now after the miscarriage I am definitely doing it. I need the peace of mind that everything is ok.
Good morning ladies! Took my 9dpo test this morning and looks like a stark white bfn. I had a faint positive by now with both girls, so thinking this is unfortunately unlikely. [emoji17]

Don't count yourself out just yet Maxim, every pregnancy is different! :)
Maxim, 9dpo is still so early! You're not out yet! I had a faint BFP at 10dpo with my 2nd and didn't get a faint BFP until 12DPO with this one! Hang in there! Looking forward to seeing your test tomorrow 🤞🏻

Still early Maxim! Keep trying tomorrow 😊
So am I going to get false positives with hpt if I take them in the 2 ww bc of the ovidril?

Wow I am so sorry you are going through this. What a crazy whirlwind. I don't understand how prior children affect the procedure!? So wrong!
We don't have the procedure here either. We thought about going to the states but then decided against.

I've given serious thought to saving to do PGD in the US, if I don't get a girl. 4 kids would be a lot for me to deal with, but I'll still be young enough to get a decent shot at PGD when my kids are in school. All in all though, I think it's just too much money, we should be saving for travel, college, and retirement.
Congrats foxtrot!!! Definitely 2 lines there yayyyy!!! So exciting :)
Maxim-don't lose hope...still a chance...still early!
KC-Hope you're having a better day today! Hugs!
No news here...just waiting! I plan to do the materni t21 test whenever I get a BFP, must be similar to Harmony. There is insurance coverage since I'm considered "advanced maternal age." I don't feel old lol.
So my friend just had a baby girl on Monday!!! First baby...she didn't sway, but she said she DTD everyday in her fertile window. That must work in some cases then!
Woohoo Fox! That's definitely a positive!
Yay!

Lolabelle- DTD every day in the fertile window only works if DH is young and has a very high sperm count. Otherwise, he will be shooting blanks and won't be able to get you pregnant. Only very few DH's can do this!

Fox, that is fantastic!!! Definitely a positive, so thrilled for you!!
Lola, with my first pregnancy, we weren't swaying, just trying to get pregnant. We dtd 3-4 times in the fertile window and still ended up with girls. I wonder if diet plays more of a part than the number of times? Meaning if your body is acidic, it won't matter how many times you bd since the Y sperm will be mostly killed off? I don't know if that's how it works?? ;)
Also, I just looked at the statistics from the boy sways (and pasted below). Am I reading it correctly that one attempt in fertile window also resulted in 70% success for boys?? Am I having a blonde moment and misinterpreting?
NO. OF ATTEMPTS
1
- Total sways 20
- Total success 14
- Success % 70% success
2
- Total sways 17
- Total success 10
- Success % 58.82% success
3
- Total sways 25
- Total success 19
- Success % 76% success
4+
- Total sways 0
- Total success 0
- Success % 0% success
:owl: am I the only one who sees something here? Roe? lol
I just scrolled through the messages again and my screen is brighter than earlier and I didn't have to look twice. Now that I'm looking twice I'm second guessing myself. I reckon we should wait until tomorrow.
Cosmo, really?!?! Burakoam (who I literally stalk daily lol, poor thing!) said the same thing, but my temps were low this morning and that made her second guess (and me too!). I don't see anything at all... :(
Should I test with FRER and cheapie again this afternoon? Or wait until tomorrow?
Fox, that is a BEAUTIFUL line today, way darker than the others. Whoo-hoo!!
Maxim, you aren't out until you're out. I'd wait until tomorrow or even the next day to test again with FMU if I were you, though.
Wait until tomorrow :) I know it is difficult. One temp doesn't mean anything, you have to wait to have a few to derive a conclusion. If you drop below 98F tomorrow then I could possibly be inclined to think BFN, but even then it could just go back up the next day. Be sure to take temp at the same exact time under the same circumstances for the best accuracy :)
At some angles I think I see something on your FR, Maxim
Test again with FMU tomorrow?
My DH didn't see the line, lol. I had to draw lines to point it out. You would think he would be better at this by now, lol.
Alright ladies, thanks for your wisdom! I'll wait it out.... I swear this is pretty close to how I look right now LOL :hair:
TTC is enough to make anyone lose their senses a little bit. :)
Literally fox... ;)
Max - I don't see a line, but I never do. I guess my old eyes don't squint well. ;) Anyway, I have not tested yet. I test at work with a 4-5 hour hold, so I am still holding. I keep my tests at work so I will not test all the time. :)
Fox - that is a beautiful line, how did DH not see that!!
Shann I used to do the same thing! When we were TTC DS2 I kept them in DHs car so that I couldn't go crazy and take a dozen a day. I'm feeling a lot more chill this time so maybe that's a good sign for my sway?
Sounds good fox.
Here is my BFN for today.

Too bad about the BFN. Here's hoping it's just too early.
