So DH is really excited! Like he keeps hugging me and telling me he's very excited. That's the good news. But, I don't feel anything?? I know I'm *just* pregnant, but last pregnancy I was nauseous the minute I peed on a stick. Anyone with multiple kids feel like every pregnancy is different? My second was just much worse than my first so I was excepting this one to be bad. AND I did have a chemical before my second so that's obviously looming in my head [emoji85]
Every pregnancy has had various levels of sickness. I've been fortunate not to be sick more than a handful of days this time, and then this morning I randomly dry heaved. So weird.

Kat enjoy every moment of the pregnancy especially not being sick. If a m/c is to happen it'll happen no matter what just enjoy every moment you do have with this little babe [emoji4]. I'm so happy for you and the fact dh is showing emotion that's great!

Kat- this pregnancy started out as twins [emoji15], and I didn't feel pregnant at all until 6w3d! Then BAM! Super sick- I'm talking ALL. DAY. SICK. Puking at least once, eating didn't help, carbs didn't help, protein made me puke 7 times in one day, and meds didn't help [emoji26]!! It lasted until week 17, and I still feel nauseous at least once per day!
Enjoy these moments! It will come! Brace yourself and for the love of all that is good in the world- eat lots while you can! I lost 11lbs and didn't start to gain weight until week 18! I only have gained 11lbs now despite looking HUGE, haha!

I have just opened this app up again on my phone as I've been ill this whole pregnancy with hyperemesis, after various hospital stays and visits I feel a bit more normal and happy to be at 12 weeks!

Great to hear from you artisam!! Sounds like you've had an absolute dreadful time, I'm so sorry you ms was so severe! I couldn't imagine being hospitalized with it. So happy you seem to be coming out the other end of it! So when is your 12 week scan??!!!! Will you be trying to get a nub shot? How exciting!!!!
Srg I've been super (worryingly) lucky. I get mild nausea late at night and early morning but that's it..... I certainly don't want to feel super sick like these poor ladies in here but it would be somewhat comforting to have nausea more often...

I had an early scan at the hospital, 10 weeks by my calculations but they said I was 11+5 (I disagree as I know when my one attempt was to the minute!) so I have two blurry scans.
When I'm up to it I'll post pics for opinions! Scheduled 12 week scan is next Friday so hoping for more.
My vomiting was hitting over 100 episodes a day, so I've needed an IV. after a range of meds I seem to be on one that is now working (for now, everything is crossed!). Fx for anyone wth nausea/vomiting it's the worst x

11+5 is too early for nub guessing but you may get some in any case :) (cant believe you're measuring nearly 2 weeks ahead already!! Were you charting or using opks? Generally conception can take up to 3 days after pos opk (depending when the egg released) so if you dtd at pos opk then you'd still be measuring a little over a week ahead! Wow!

As most of you know, I JUST got a BFP this week at 9/10dpo & now I'm so excited (but cautious) to join all my friends here yay! [emoji322][emoji322] DD twinsies with Kat & Sky as we all have the same Feb 12th dd [emoji173] It's starting to sink in that this is real & now I'm thinking about all of the logistics. How will I fit 3 in my car? The boys each have a bedroom & then a playroom...hmm, will we move the boys into the same room? Then there's the cost of 3 in daycare...$$ adds up. These are the best types of problems to have...couldn't be more excited to figure it all out as we go!

Ash-thanks! We WILL have our pink babies...feeling positive [emoji175]And yes! What to do? What to do? We have 3 bedrooms and a playroom, but the playroom is on the opposite end of the house & really like having a playroom...not sure what to do?? I will have to trade in for a new car...I have a sedan & there is no room for a 3rd. I'll go with a smallish SUV with a 3rd row & I know exactly what I want, BUT don't really want to spend the $ when my car is almost paid off...but like I mentioned...I'm so happy to finally be in the position to have these issues lol.

I'm thinking I'll be able to find out early since I'm 35, but don't think I will until 20 week ultrasound. I asked DH if we could wait until birth, he said no [emoji23] I started feeling more pregnant after my last post. I really hope I don't have terrible ms though!! I feel for all y'all that do.

Kat-yes, I'll have a scheduled c-section a week early & I was already looking at dates! It's funny b/c I did say to DH that 2/8/18 has a nice ring to it haha! How awesome would it be if you have your boy while I have my girl?!!! I always have mine 1st thing in the morning seeing as I can never sleep the night before! I have never been in labor before & always worry I'll go into labor before my scheduled date, so I'll see what my ob says.

Kat I don't think they do the materni21 until 10weeks ☹️ booo.... so I'll have to wait a couple more if that's the case. I have two bedrooms in the basement right now the older two share one and we have the other a play room but they're scardy cats and don't want to split down there yet [emoji23] we have enough space to add one more bedroom with an escape window but we will still have to have a couple sharing until we do away with the play room or until they're not scared to stay in their own room downstairs lol.
I have little babies also! But always go into labor early! I'm thinking a New Years baby would be my goal if I can hold him/her in until then. Funny thing my mil knows about us having another and I think she is more anxious to tell ppl than we are [emoji177] she was saying tonight "she will either be a princess or mean as dirt to keep up with all these boys" glad she's referring to baby as she hehe

Lola - We always get the genetic testing done so if the gender part is offered for free since I'm [emoji1411] then we'll probably get it. I'm dying to know, but scared to be disappointed [emoji51] Part of me is like give me the longest time possible to think this is a boy.
Sky - I'm waiting to call until Wednesday/Thursday to make my appointment. Just want to be a little further along before I call and know it's not a chemical. However, my lines are getting darker and I'm feeling more pregnant. But, I'm thinking they'll see me the week of the 26th.
Ash - I'm not sure what we'll do room wise either. We have 4 bedrooms, so right now they have separate (really cute [emoji7]) bedrooms and the 4th is a guest room. Our guest room is hardly used, more so used by my or DH if someone is sick or if he's snoring too loud. I'm thinking we'll make it the nursery/guest room and then make 2 of the 3 share down the road depending on gender and who sleeps best. My oldest (6) is super scared and sleeps in the floor in a sleeping bag most nights. We are going to try to work on that soon [emoji51]

Kat-I know exactly what you mean!! I would love to believe this is a girl, but I think the longer I believe, the more disappointed I'll be...as sad as that sounds...so I need to know now!!! I also want to know gender as soon as possible so that when I share the news with fam, I'll have some control when I tell them. I'm aiming to have my 1st appt on July 3 if they're open that day. I'd love to tell fam on July 4th, BUT I won't know gender then ugh, so I think I'll keep the secret going longer...Since you have a guest room, sounds like you have the perfect space! You could leave the bed in there with the crib & find a comforter/duvet that matches whichever theme you go with. It'll be a boy theme of course [emoji170][emoji12] My boy's rooms are so cute that I hate to change them ugh...one has a car theme & one has a nautical theme. DS1 sleeps in a queen bed, so we make that the guest room when we have visitors & he sleeps with us. So get this, when we first moved here, DS2's room was pink....I thought ohhhh maybe this could be baby #3's pink room, BUT I knew if I didn't paint it a neutral color immediately, I'd have another boy lol.

Kat ds3 has a seizure last year on Memorial Day and we didn't want to leave him alone so we bought another twin bed and pushed it up against ours and made him sleep in our room for about 7 months to ensure no more and we could have peace of mind. But luckily he is back in his room he's a smart little one though and knows when his dad is out of town he can sneak in bed with me lol.
Lola that's a super cute pink color that was in there I like it! We have a nautical room for our baby Jonah and I love it. I'm also on the fence on when to tell everyone if I wait for the gender results that could be 12 weeks so another whole 4 weeks of a secret and I don't want to keep it that long because I want to enjoy this pregnancy but then again I do want to keep it so I have control of the situation I guess I'll decide Friday what I want to do. If it's twins then I'm sure I won't wait but if single I'll be undecided

Ash-that's exactly what I was thinking! If it's by some miracle twins, there would be no way I could hold that in! For now, praying it's a healthy bean...then will be ecstatic if it's a girl. I thought the pink was really cute, but I knew I had to paint it as a part of the process lol. A while ago, I told my mom that I wanted a 3rd & that I wouldn't tell anyone until I knew gender. She said "even me." I tell her pretty much everything. I said "well as long as you don't say "you know it could be a boy." She agreed so I told her recently when I found out. She seemed excited, but I could feel that "you know it could be a boy" vibe even though she didn't say it haha...maybe it's just in my head. So *WHEN*(thinking positive as a part of the process lol) I hear girl, I think that would have a more positive effect when telling family

Ash/Lola - WAIT! Y'all are considering not even announcing you are pregnant until you know if it's a boy or girl?? How far along would you be? I'm impressed. I'm trying to wait until scan/8 weeks to tell my family and then 12 for the world (including work). But, I might tell my boss after the scan at 8 weeks bc she has me on that trip to Miami in November which I'm scared to go on. And just ask her to keep quiet until I'm comfortable. I'm really dying to tell people now though, yes I aware it's to soon, so we'll see if I last!

Artisam I will be 8 weeks tomorrow. And I do have a food baby! I've gained 7lbs but not showing.
Kat we have told our parents and that's all I have planned to wait until I find out gender but I'm getting impatient so we will see what my scan looks like Friday and decide then if we want to tell. I think it makes it easier not telling anyone since I have all you to spill it to [emoji23]. But I have been on the loosing end with weight for a while and running a lot but since pregnancy I've not been running as much and have gained so it's only a matter of time before anyone notices. I don't think I will get the results from the gender test until 11/12 weeks so I'm sure I'll be showing by then since this is my 5th pregnancy. I'm just going to play it by ear and see what happens! I honestly hate to say this but I do feel like this one is a girl for some reason. I'm scared to feel this way (and won't tell anyone else but y'all and dh because I don't want anyone to think I'll be upset if it's a boy. It scared the day lights out of me to think I can potentially have a girl since I have no idea how to care for one....maybe that's y I feel this is a girl. Who knows I just know I wanted to find out the gender like yesterday
