IMHO, a pretty much perfect girl sway...at least according to the way we do things on this site (which, as you've noticed are different from IG).

Yes, I think you could safely start tonight if you get DH to release at least twice before you do. If you used a whole tube of Rephresh yesterday you probably don't need more, but you could always 'top up' with a fingerful now if you're worried. Some women also use a fingerful after their attempt, but I personally don't do that because I think in my case it's overkill.

Do you have any Sylk? You could always use that as a lube for your actual attempt as well. You might also want to pop an antihistamine (Benedryl or Zyrtec is recommended by atomic) if you have any EWCM. Good luck!

Jaime, I think your attempt sounds AWESOME! Ladies do get pg on rephresh; however I'm not sure I'm one of them. I am a lil older too (both DH and I are 33, we were born two weeks apart, both Spring babies)

Mocha, that is weird that AF stopped and then resumed? If they will take you, I'd still go to your appt on Thurs to get checked out, to see what's going on

Yeah it might be a little easier for him when our kids are old enough to have activities but being 3.5 and 1.5 there's not a long of things to do with them especially since my 3.5 year old has a developmental delay and some days it's really just not a good idea to go out. When I was working until 5 each day (didn't get home till 6:30 due to commute) and DH was getting home at 3 he would always take them somewhere but it was usually somewhere like the golf course with him, to a sporting goods or clothing store to shop (he's all man but shops like a woman he loves to but clothes too). That's great that your DH loves what he does, I would probably feel a little jealous too. Although going between working and staying home this year (Jan-April working May-July home August-October working November-Decmber home) I have seen the benefits of both and try to appreciate whichever phase I am in.

I wouldn't say it actually stopped - it just got so light that I thought it had turned to spotting...but after a morning full of walking while Christmas shopping at the mall, I came home to find quite a bit on my pad. It was still only what I'd call 'light', but it was definitely too much for spotting. Since then, though, it seems to be easing up again.

I think I will keep that appointment tomorrow because with Christmas coming up so soon, my doc will probably be on holiday soon and I'll end up having to wait for ages for my results.

Yep, I have to say this site is very different and in many ways better. I like knowing why I need to do something, not just go do this and it works LOL!

I have no Sylk, but I do have Replens. And I feeling like I was leaking (TMI), and went to the bathroom. It was water or fluid like fertile CM but not stretchy like EWCM. Maybe the RePHresh? but them I checked my cervix (High Med Soft) and oh my how gross. It's like really weird feeling in there and cottage cheese like (TMI) is that normal? I feel like I need to douche or rinse out somehow LOL!!!???? I cannot tell what my CM is doing now grrrh!! I think watery though?

I tried to be a member on IG and even bought the membership that never reflected on my account. I got a refund many weeks later and was overjoyed to see that I could get one here that might actually work. I have not really looked to see what all I can see now that I am a member, but for all the wonderful information I have gotten so far $12.00 is certainly worth every penny!!!

Maybe you should give the stay at home dad thing a try. What could it hurt LOL!

Yeah, rephresh will really change your cm. That chunky stuff you're finding is totally normal. BTW, I'm fairly sure atomic warns against using rephresh AND replens as I think the two together can make your ph skyrocket.

Krazy Daisy....I just started using the Rephresh and the same cottage cheese discharge started for me too. I think it could be yeast. I'm wondering if either the represh lowered of elevated my ph so much is caused an infection? I don't have ph strips yet, so I don't know.

Interested in hearing what others have today.

Oh I just love your name!!! I am hoping the PH is 4.5 like I read in the post about Replens and RePHresh that is supposed to raise or lower PH to the magic number of 4.5. I am guessing we just leave the cottage cheese in there?

KrazyDaizy....I'm already sticking rephresh, a bbt thermometer, a penis...and possibly a lime tampon!!!! LOL!!! I am not sticking a hand up to reach out the cottage cheese. I guess as long as the ph is spot on, it's ok. Are you testing w/ PH strips? Our attempt isn't until April...I'm going to start tracking PH in January.

Oh, I am laughing so hard LOL! I wasn't really thinking of a douche or something to get it out LOL. I did the lime tampon early on and it was a disaster. I do not recommend them at all.

I have a Hannah tester, but we moved, and for the life of me, I cannot find it grrrhh! I have previously tested and my PH was in the low 5 range.

What exactly was disastrous about the lime tampon?

On IG there was no notation that you should use the OB tampons the ones with no applicator. I just used the plastic one and make the solution soaked it and when it came time to get the applicator off, it would not budge. I had to try and use scissors to get it off, then squish is small enough to get it inside me. It hurt and did not fit right. I could hardly get it in, but I did wear if for as long as I could. My VG got really burned/irritated that cycle. I did not try lime again. I am not sure how they say to make them on this site. Hopefully this site has better information on it. Best of luck with it if you choose to try it, I would practice and not wait till u actually DTD to put one in LOL! I was so mad!!!

Hi ladies, I've had lots to catch up on so I'm going to jump straight back in with the couple of things I can remember!

Rephresh is fine with Replens, Aci-jel and Sylk but shouldn't be used with lime or vinegar. The discharge is a reaction that some get when they first use it (it even says on the instructions that it might happen) but should get better the more you use it - imo this is a good reason to use it every 3 days after AF rather than waiting until your attempt.

Thanks for clarifying, Z - I don't know why I thought you couldn't use rephresh and replens together. I must have been confusing it with lime. Good thing you mentioned that, though, since some of the ladies here were planning to use lime.

Thanks for clarifying. How would you use the RePHresh in relation to the Replens? So no need to do any kind of douche to remove the little bits hanging around in there? I am just thinking that this would be a barrier to the swimmers LOL!!!

It may well be a barrier to the swimmers but that's the idea - lower sperm numbers = pink!

I used Aci-jel with Rephresh which is kind of the same thing - I did Rephresh every 3 days in the morning and used Aci-jel closer to my attempt. You could use a finger tip of Replens an hour or so before your attempt. I actually used 1/4 applicator of Aci-jel around 7 hours before our attempt because our attempt was first thing in the morning.

KD....omg, we are in the same boat it seems!
I have a feeling I might o tomorrow which is really early. The vitex is changing my symptoms!

What are you doing to do?
Last month we did the same as you and we had a BFN.
We had a 3 day abstain and then we did FR and dtd as well with rephresh. It was overkill. We also did shallow and J and D.
It was too much and nothing!

So, this month so far we have abstained...too busy and DH is not a releaser....he was waiting for me to decide!
Problem is...if I o tomorrow and I have abstained.....that is more boy friendly right?

I used rephresh last night like KD...not all of it but a lot.
Does that come out the next day and look like EWCM?
My mon did not peak...but the CBFM looks like it is even.....which is usually around peak!
I have one OPK left so I am not sure if I should use it or not!
What to do????
I am sick so I am not thinking clearly!

KD we have to help each other...time is ticking...!

PS: Dh is 39 and I am 37!

I am not Zan (but I am in the England!) and I say go for it! You have more than enough abstaining to have reduced sperm count and I don't think that timing really matters.

Don't get stressed and I wouldn't dump the first batch, I would just go for it.

I also think the rephresh you used last night should be enough.

I had a big blob of what seemed EWCM this morning after using RePHresh for the first time last night, so it could be that? I also used my Diva to see if I could collect any CM, and all I could get was the cottage cheese stuff.

I am thinking I won't use the Replens tonight especially if RePhresh is supposed to work for 72 hours, I think it might be overkill. Or maybe I am wrong???????

I too had the EWCM this morning, but when I tried to collect with my Diva, I got none, just the cottage cheese stuff, so who knows at this point. Have you tried to collect some CM in a cup?

I had researched the Shettles method and was trying that for the first 6 months of TTC, then the last year I found the o+12 theory on IG and started to sway pretty hard at first, but got burnt out on the diet. Now I have found this site and feel like there is new hope for my PINK dream.

My DH released once today so far after 4 days abstaining. He is going to again shortly and we will DTD later tonight. Not sure about the Replens in addition to the RePHresh last night? Think it might be overkill? Might JAD though.

We are practically twins lemon12 with our ages.
I would use OPK in the AM like I did today. I got no +OPKs yesterday, but today I have gotten 3 about 4 hours apart. My mon is not showing PEAK yet either, but mine is not even yet though like yours.

um, so do you think I will o tomorrow? Is that ridiculously early and even possible? Wouldn't I have to have the world's shortest cycle????

Hmm, if you have him release again ask him how much it spurts....this is totally TMI, but maybe one thing that went wrong last month was that DH released and then we dtd two hours later...it basically spurted a bit but did not propel iykwim......so, if you j and d, don't have him release again. If you want to lay there and go deep then maybe...but that is a lot! Is he super sperm ma? Maybe...lol, you have 4 boys right!? You started younger than me though:( I had one in 2006 and one in 2008...but really it was almost 4 years ago!

I would have had another boy I think by now as well, so this swaying at least makes me feel like I am helping the process of getting a girl, even though my faith tells me that the Lord will bless me with what He thinks I should have.

Woohoo! AF is finally gone this morning and my cervix is starting to soften up. I'm going to start OPKs today! DH has released the past 2 nights, so I think I'll try to make him keep that up. If we can manage a strong frequent release (7+ days), I think I'll give rephresh a pass. Atomic was just posting in the members only section this morning suggesting that antihistamines might actually sway better than rephresh anyway and for some people the combination of the two can make it too hard to get pregnant.

Lemon, I think with you being sick, that woudl sway girl, so i would go for it!!

Mocha, I LOVE the idea! I need to become a dream member! Because of what rephresh did to my area last month, I am thinking of dropping it and using antihistime to "dry" me up and then maybe use a little bit of sylk to help? (the one month I used zyrtec it dried me up so much that hubby was having a hard time with...you know....) Would love opinions on the new plan!

I think your plan sounds good, auroara. If rephresh causes you so much trouble, I say forget it and focus instead on diet and antihistamines.
