I still ate meat at the weekend if I wanted it. Yes it is best to be fully vegetarian but that's not achievable or everyone. All you can do is your best with the targets atomic recommends.
Ok are the quorn products ideal, they are vegetarian but they have a lot of protein in them.I have been eating those quorn sausages and chicken and mince.
I didn't eat quorn due to the protein, but that was personal choice, if I was going over in it I wanted to go over for the proper stuff :)
They are still in my limits when I eat them so I'm assuming they will be ok 😄
sounds fine and dandy to me :)
The cauliflower and broccoli cheese I made was pretty good, although not as yummy as DH's version. Mine was made more LE friendly. I cooked two portions with 20g butter, 40g flour, 400ml low fat almond milk and 40g low fat cheddar cheese, on top of half a head each of cauliflower and broccoli. The almond milk gave it all a greyish colour and I'd have liked it cheesier, but it was yummy served with reduced fat oven chips. Having the other half tonight! :).
I'm so lazy I just buy a pack of mash direct cauliflower cheese and will often have it with broccoli :)
Even though I'm pg I'm still going to have jacket potatoes/sweet potatoes with cauliflower cheese, it's yum!
Thank you - yes I found out on Friday, it's still sinking in!
