Loose stool was always hours before labor for me, could be sooner than you think!
My first (36+6) was 6lb, 10oz. He had breathing issues and spent a night in NICU for it. Otherwise, he was healthy. The doc said he was, in fact, a bit undercooked...but was a strong kid, so he struggled less than some might. My second (37+2) was 8lb, 4.5oz. He was done ;) Well baked and a little horse! Not a premature kid at all. My third (37+6) was 7lb even and was done baking as well. In fact, I think if I had not had an abruption and she could have dropped when she tried to (36 weeks), she may have even come earlier. Given that she was floating, she couldn't dilate me efficiently.
My midwife told me that two kids are usually a pattern. One isn't really. She said if mama delivers within a few gestational days, they usually expect a third, fourth, etc to come around the same area. So I think it's good for you to prepare for an earlier delivery. And hopefully your babe will be quite healthy! I did worry about another NICU baby (not necessarily that they wouldn't be okay, but it was hard to not bond in the beginning), but I just kept hoping I wouldn't have one. And didnt :)
And yay surgena! It sounds like things are getting moving! Loose stool is always a good sign. Due date babies are fun ;) I am one!
Thinking of spinning today :( I hope she's well and all my thoughts will be with her tomorrow on her due date xx
Ditto - thinking of spinning...
