Spinning babies sounds like a dance class!
I was feeling guilty about not tackling the nursery. I just can't seem to get motivated to do it (not because of GD, just because I'm in a lazy mood). As for names, I swear my DH has rejected EVERY name I've brought up. EVERY SINGLE ONE. I'm actually a little angry about it because he has no suggestions of his own. He just keeps saying, 'nope.' We had this same problem with DS3, and I ended up yelling at him to make a list or I'd beat him up.
Ugghh... went to try on some maternity jeans today. Let's just say being in fluorescent lights with lots of mirrors and no clothes was not a confidence booster!! I feel like I gained my weight really weird after having lost so much on the LE diet - my things and butt are a mess! Hope it goes back to normal. After an initial really fast weight gain, I have been gaining about a pound per week the last month or so. I still think it is going to be too much in the end. If I use my BFP weight, I have gained 40 pounds. If I use my "normal" prepreg weight, I have gained about 23 pounds. I guess it is hard to know which weight to use!
Had a dr appt today and baby is still breech, I asked about the ECV and she said they don't really like to to them and she gave me all the reasons why, they would rather schedule a c-section. She also said that there is plenty of time for him to move which I hope he does because I really don't want a c-section at all. Everything else looked fine and I am measuring two weeks ahead so I guess it means I'm gonna have a big baby again.
Just curious...What reasons did they give you for not wanting to do a ECV? I am in no way trying to get you to push for one, just would love to hear since I am trying to decide still myself! lol.
I hate that m Dr's say that there's plenty of time for baby to flip but then when I hit 36 weeks with #4 they were all of a sudden so concerned and scheduled the c-section right away. I just don't get them sometimes.
Glad you have a good size healthy baby in there dloui!!
They have been saying he has plenty of time to flip well he hasn't for a month ugh.
They said some of the risks are placenta abruption, if the cord is short it could be tricky, sometimes it puts the baby in stress and two other things I forgot now, and she also said they could successfully turn him and then days later he could flip back on his own
I guess they figure the risks aren't worth it, who knows she says we could talk more about it in a month
I dont know. There are a lot more risks to a c-section....
I was just going to recommend this! I did this with DS2,i mostly did one position once or twice a day on a fours when i was watching tv and arched my spine like a cat,I think its called pelvic tilts.?i think it squashed him into my spine an he had to move:)its what it felt like anyways:)I would definately do this and dont give up ,make time to do them every day!!
