Emily, congrats on your healthy little baby with the great stats. I think you're still in with a good chance of having a little girl despite you being unsure about the nub. I mean the tech seemed to think so. I'd love to see some pics if you feel happy to post them and keep any gender thoughts to myself. Did she date the pregnancy spot on date wise or has your due date changed?
Emily: how wonderful all is looking good, and that you are having either a boy or a girl;) just think if you saw three nubs.. I can totally relate to your having a wierd feeling now though..
So, what to do: my subscription on GD runs out in two days, do I stop and loose this forum or do I continue? Am pg now and can't change the outcome anyway, do you guys check in on the open forums sometimes? Feel like not continuing subscription is like cutting myself out of something special, bur should also move on.. Could I befriend you on fb?

Mathilde, I have been thinking about that the other day. My Dream Membership is due to run out in January and I'd hate to lose this thread so close to our due dates, but am also not sure I can afford it again with another baby on the way.
I think I will PM an admin to see if it is possible at all to move the thread to the Free section, so we can all keep in touch even beyond our memberships.
Attachment 11903Thanks GEcon and mathilde. The baby is measuring bang on for date which is good as it was a little small 2 weeks ago. The due date is still the same as DS2s birthday!
The thing that is throwing me is that when I saw the upwards nub I was ok with it (obviously some degree of GD will / would probably rear its ugly head in the years to come) and I was still excited about the pregnancy and the little hands which I am sure were waving LOL.
Anyway I think I should just woman up and hear what people think as nubsession has already started! What have i got to lose right? guessing wont change anything in there. I don't think that anything people could say would confuse me any further as one pic is definitely a girl nub and the other a definite boy nub.

I dont dare guess, as I'm not that good;) all I want to see for all of us is little girls..:) by the way, one thing I've always not understood is it the featus' age at 12 weeks or 12 weeks gestation(10 week featus) we go by when wanting to see the best nub?

Most people have the scan at 12 weeks so only 10 weeks really as that is when they do an NT scan. I think a couple of weeks later is better.
Emily, I am not very good at nub-guessing either, but I think this is one beautiful little baby.
Mathilde, I have no idea about the fetus' age vs. gestation. I always assumed gestation, but never thought about it any other way.
Gecon....I was thinking about wishing you happy rock week last night!! Congrats and welcome to week 10!!!!! And yes, I am excitedly counting the days away to my scan, I do want to know if this sway worked....but also I want to move forward either with the dream of baby girl or 3 boys :)Quote:
