It must be amazing to be home, Southern. You've done so well making it to 34 weeks.
Laura, I'm still working but only 2 days week. I stop at 35 weeks and I am looking forward to it. I like work but the logistics of getting there can be a pain.
It's nice not being in my third tri in the Aussie heat as i was with my last two, overall winter is better but I'm very over these constant colds. They're minor but I'm tired anyway so it's hard work. DH is just home now so I'm supposed to be having a rest but all I can hear is small children stomping around and shouting.
Thorz, how big were you with the others? Fundal height measurements aren't that reliable.
Yay southern!! So happy you're home!! It must be the best feeling!!! You and your baby boy are a great team staying put for so long!!
I'm 5"8 so a tad taller than you!! Lol
Enjoy your time at home now!
It's my little girls 5th birthday today! We've had such a big day and I've been so unwell I have no voice and all these mouth Ulca's! I've really struggled through the day. But she has had a wonderful day so that's all that matters! My DH has summoned me to my room to rest so he is earning major points tonight feeding and bathing all the kids!
Ha ha southern you are so right ;-)

Massive bump at 34 plus 3!
I know this baby is going to be bigger then my first but im not expecting her to be any bigger then 8lbs full term. I reckon I will be surprised and have a 7lb baby lol. My DD1 was born at 37+2 and weighed 5.12 x
Southern very glad to hear your home, it must be a little more relaxing for you. I'm tiny like you too at 5'0 :)
Thank you for the anniversary wishes too. Hubby bought me a lovely new wedding ring too so hes very much in the good books.
When DS2 was born we gave DS1 a little present from the baby and i'm doing the same this time. I know a hot wheels car and a tube of smarties will go down very well with them. They are already wrapped and packed in my hospital bag.
Ended up in hospital last night too after having period pains all day, nothing too painful but was nagging away at my. Thankfully they didnt find anything wrong but no clue as to what they were.
They did say i'm measuring about 3 weeks small though so i have another scan sometime this week. I'm not too worried thought but glad to be getting my little bump checked out.
Fish that's not massive, wait till I post mine!
DLTAG good luck with the scan,I am sure your little one is okay.
Does everyone try to sleep on their left side? I find it quite difficult this pregnancy, I actually feel more comfortable on the right. Do you think I am depriving me baby from blood flow?
I just try to sleep on my side... With all my other babies I made sure I was on my left side but this time the round ligament pains make moving unbearable in the middle of the night so how I fall a sleep is how I stay... Sometimes I wake up on my bac and I'm horrified lol... My round ligament pain is so bad that when I wake to go to the bathroom it takes me ten mins to sit up... When looking round ligament pain up people compared it to a c section without morphine lol
Fish that is a small bump lol
I try and sleep on my left side I normally sleep on my right but quiet often wake up and find I'm on my back or right side there's only so much you can do ;-)
Oh seriously I was so much neater with the boys I feel like a house ;-s
Just dropping in to ask if everyone that swayed GIRL and knows what they are having, can please update/post their sway in the stats spreadsheet via the form?

pg1 first post has instructions.
Thank You
Fish I agree you have a super cute bump, not massive at all!
Girlsway you called yourself out, now we need to see a bump pic from you lol.
DLTAG glad everything checked out fine at the hospital. You may just have a petite little lady in there like Thorz does.
Salsa Happy belated birthday to your little girl!
Mum it is summer here in the states and I've actually enjoyed being pregnant this time of year. I was mostly pregnant during the cold months with the others and honestly hated it. I guess I am the opposite of most ladies!
I also sleep on either side and just switch up throughout the night as my sides and back hurt if I sleep on one side too long.
Just out of curiosity, what time of day did you ladies go into labor with your other babies? I've always began labor in the middle of the night and deliver early the next morning. I think that's part of why I've had so much trouble sleeping this pregnancy because I keep thinking I'm going to go into labor.
I went into labour with ds1 around 1 am and had him at 10 am
Ds2 woke up in labour at 3am and had him at 330 am
Ds3 was induced so he was my daytime labour
Ds1 went into labour at 12 midnight gave birth at 1am (25 hrs later)
Ds 2 went into labour at 1pm have birth at 3.15pm
DD1 was induced at 8pm had her at 9.59pm, on my nephews birthday too x
Ladylaura was that the same day? Thank you for good induction news everyone I speak to who was induced was there days ;-(
I was induced with ds3 and it was 2 hours lol and I also didn't find the contractions any worse at all! People and their horror stories and suck it lol! This time I'm taking a different approach at induction if I make it to the 27th instead of the drugs I'm gonna hopfully be ale to just get my water broken to get things going :)
Had a scan this afternoon and shes measuring 3.9oz which they said is good but . . . shes breech. I'm only 32 weeks though so there still time for her to turn but really hoping she does. My floors will be spotless.
I turn and sleep on my left side, even swapped bed sides with DH to encourage me to sleep on my left side but i often wake up on my back. I think theres only so much we can do.
I went into labour with DS1 at 6am (woke up with pains) and he was born at 12.53pm and with DS2 i went into labour at about 3pm and he was born at 6.55pm so i always seem to go into labour in the day, both boys were born on a sat too :)
Hi Ladies,
Long time no speak! Its been almost 100 days since we had Evelyn.
But as someone previously put, I'm now pregnant again - I'm really hoping that this one sticks and is healthy, but I already have that deep down feeling its a boy - I had the same feeling deep down with the boys, and with Evelyn I did have a deep deep down feeling she was a girl, but didn't ever want to admit it. I guess if things go well, we'll be finding out in just over 12 weeks.
We are now under consultant care, which means we will get an early scan in 4-5 weeks, then another at 12, 14, 16 and 20 weeks. All of them very in depth checking for the condition Evelyn had, as they do not know if it was caused by a gene passed down, but then it could also have been caused by an infection or exposure to a chemical. Either way, it was a very VERY rare condition that isn't scanned for, only 4 in 1,000,000 is born with it! The fact it caused the brain ventricles to dilated as well is even rarer, so we really hope it was just a one off. At least this time, they will specifically look for the problems with the organs.
Anyway, thank you for thinking of me some of you, and I hope all your pregnancies go well. I still think of how far along I should be, and I wish I was still here with you lovely ladies, still pregnant with my baby girl.
How far along are you northern :) congrats! So happy for you! Praying the baby is healthy boy or girl :)
Only 4+2, so right back at the beginning! I should be over 34 weeks now, so really feels like such a waste.
Daltag I turned my monkey about 4 weeks ago using a vid on YouTube how to turn a breech, posterior or transverse baby by pregnancyexercise.co.nz plenty of time for her to move yet x
Northern so pleased for you hun praying you have a sticky heathy baby in there xxx
Congrats Northern, I hope you have a wonderfully smooth, boring pregnancy this time.
DLTAG, mine was breech till 30 weeks but my ob had said that she wasn't even identifying it as an issue until at least 35 weeks.
I am a side sleeper but on my right, I can't get to sleep on my left at all. It seems to make my reflux worse.
I have gone into labour with all of my babies overnight, although with various labour lengths.
That's fantastic news northern. I'm really pleased for you, sounds like you will be well looked after. Wishing you loads of good luck xxx
Northern!!! It's just sooooo lovely to hear from you. I'm always thinking of you and your beautiful Evelyn. A massive congratulations on this pregnancy. I pray all your upcoming scans go well. Whatever you have growing I know will make the perfect addition to your family. I know it must be so hard to think that if things had gone differently you'd be near the end by now, but in the big picture this time is insignificant and in a few yrs when we have a 3 yr old and you have a 2 and a half it won't seem like anything. How are you feeling? Hope morning sickness is keeping away for you! x x x
I am so happy for you Northern!!! I pray for you and your family that everything goes smoothly with this pg.!!
Congrats Northern!! So good to hear from you and I really hope this is a healthy and sticky baby for you!! Thanks for stopping in and saying hi:)
Aw lovely news northern, Praying everything goes well for you and you have a smooth 9 months ahead of you.
Thanks for the positive stories about breech babies too. Really panicking as i was transverse and wouldn't budge so my mum had to have a c-section. Just hope its not a habit in our family with girls. Since i found out i've been doing every exercise possible to try and get her to turn but it really kills my back doing them.
LOL I had a weird gender dream last night!!! I haven't had one of those in a while. I dreamed I gave birth to my little girl and I was so so so excited! As I was dressing her to leave the hospital in a cute girly outfit, I looked down and noticed boy bits hanging out of the diaper!! LOL in my dream my baby had both boy and girl bits and we couldn't figure out which gender he/she was!!
Its funny what our mind will do to us when we have a real concern for things. I know this probably really is a girl, but I have been scared lately that they got it wrong.
I'm so tired of being pregnant and still have 54 more days to go................that is so so so long. Hopefully things will go by fast I have a few going on in AUG like needing to school shop and meet with my sons teacher and get his immunizations and get him off to start 1st grade. I also have a baby shower that my friends are throwing me on AUG 24th and I still need to finish up on the nursery! I kind of put that on hold because DS3 is still in that room and still in the crib at the moment so the baby probably wont even go in that room for at least 3 months after she is born because we will keep her in our room in the bassinet for at least 3 months. Ugh Im ready for her to be here so I can have my energy and hip back! but at the same time, I don't want to wish my summer away. I absolutely DESPISE the winter time it depresses me. Sorry for the rambling...........
I had a gender dream a few weeks ago the he is a she and it really freaked me out cause I've never seen his boy bits and the tech doing my u/s was in training...now I would hope that an adult woman can tell the different
Ce between a penis and a vajay....
Omfg only 28 days left! I am turning into a nervous wreck! I have never felt so mentally unprepared for a baby and that all stems from my mommy boy ezra
My 3 yr old had just told a fly it's on time out cause it didn't leave by the time he counted to ten lol!
So you lot have got me counting! 19 days till I go in to find out if my cervix is favourable! 29 days till date consultant said he wouldn't let me go past! Praying hard I'll go into labour spontaneously on 18 aug before any interference that's quiet soon ;-s
Daltag my friend went into labour with baby's head down it turned breech midwife called ambulance (it was home birth) she walked down drive baby turned right way up and she gave birth in ambulance a minute later - it's never too late ;-)
I really want to go into labour on my own too... When I first got preg I thought there is no way I make it till the end of August running around n the heat after a two year old constantly... But now I'm not too sure.... I'm also not feeling comfortable with the evening primrose after atomic saying its a blood thinner... I can't find much information on it tho... But logically I think I shouldn't take a blood thinner for one. Dont want to bleed too much at birth... Two I'm Rh- and I've only had + babies and my bloods mixed with tw of them and Im thinking that blood thinners will def increase the chance... Now I wonder do they act like a blood thinner when they are inserted as well? I can't believe I'm 35 weeks tomorrow! I havnt gained any weight in almost two weeks lol :) makes me a bit happy as I've gained too much
Oh I've never heard its a blood thinner, my pregnancy yoga teacher recommended it! I would guess it may still be a thinner if inserted internally however it's going to be more effective like that so may just go for internally and not orally? I've been taking it a while now but no idea how I'd know if it was thinning my blood!
Trying regular dtd too as convinced that helps but not managing more than about 3 times a week lol so knackered can't wait for this pregnancy to be over!
I have quite a high se drive and I know for a fact I was dtd every day basically with ds2 and he was a 41 weeker... But with that said I did go into labour a few hours before his scheduled induction after having sex and a shower... The blood thinner thing scares me a lot! I would hate for something stupid to happen to try and speed something up that will happen soon anyways... I know it feels like forever waiting for the baby... But I can't risk my life... Which I think thinning the blood is doing I think it could cause bleeding issues at birth logically
Agh In that case I'll stop worrying about dtd ;-s I give up I think we'll just have to accept what happens!
Oh bugger you seem to be right about blood thinning!
http://vbacfacts.com/2012/11/13/even...-are-pregnant/
Ughhhhh might stop taking it ;-s
Ya I don't feel comfortable with taking it...wate of 20 bucks for me :( but it's supposed to be good for Pms so I guess I will take it for fun after the baby just to use it
Hmmm if EPO is a blood thinner, how would it cause clots? I'm going to talk to my dr about it, because I have had issues with clots before, I would think a blood thinner would be good. I wouldn't take it for sure if I had a history of bleeding too much or csections. I bought some EPO at Walmart for 6 bucks but I haven't opened it. If my dr says I shouldn't use it, I'll just return it.
Saw my midwife today wish I'd asked her... Let us know what your dr says xx
