^^My fav! Love, love the aqua...and I do have a thing for awake babies. Those gorgeous eyes.
So glad to hear from you Lassie. Alex is amazing, such a cutie! I am so glad he is a dream baby :)
Hang in there Surgena! She (and, yes, she is a she!) will be here soon. Baby has a mind of her own. My little lady likes to show me who is boss too.
And Rosie, I wouldn't worry too, too much about the smaller size. My good friend has three boys and her third is substantially smaller than her older two. And always has been (he was a surprise baby and everyone was betting girl because of him being smaller in utero). Her older two are quite big for their ages and her third is a peanut in comparison. Just by nature. I don't think 10lbs and 21in sounds that bad as far as proportion and for the age. It seems like most babies are between 9-12 pounds around 7 weeks. I know my first was below the charts at 7 weeks (he was 8 pounds, but had bad acid reflux and it was untreated until then). But I think 10lbs seems pretty average. He might just be a slower grower.
Does anyone else have a barfy baby? Mine is so flipping barfy. Lol. I literally go through so many clothes (me and her!) a day and had to stock up on barf rags. She is growing fine and not uncomfortable when she does it (my first had acid reflux, but actually never threw up), but gosh it is maddening. Kid can hit the wall from 5 feet away!!
my third little man is the smallest of my bunch by quite a lot, he was the biggest born whereas the others put weight on fast he pretty much stayed as he was. Both ds1 and ds2 are big for their age and way taller than everyone else, ds3 isn't exactly small but he is no where near as big as his brothers. All mine are taller than they are wide to so they have always been on the lower percentiles for height, its just how they are built.
In my opinion as long he is feeding happily, seems contended and is putting on weight (even if its slow or he is staying the same as long as he isn't loosing it) and seems healthy your fine, he could just be due a massive growth spurt too
All these babies are so precious! We are one lucky group of ladies!!
Thanks ladies, you made me feel much more at ease :-). Seems as if a lot of third boys run small...haha. I am more than okay with having a shorter boy since my first two are projected to be 6'4" and 6'8"!
^^Holy bananas! You have some serious height in your family!! Both of my guys are tall and prolly will both be over 6', but certainly not that tall. No wonder your third seems shrimpy in comparison! Genetically, someone has to get the smaller genes :) He does sound fine though...it's just our jobs to worry about our babies.
hotdogz, yes we have serious height going on! My 2 yr old looks like he is 4. He wears 5t clothes and size 13 shoe, it's rather scary! My dh says Teddy will just be the runt of the family...I am cool with that as long as there is no bad reason he isn't growing. My husband is about 6'5" so they get it from him, not from little 5'6" me!
Anyone ever gotten pregnant within 6 weeks of the last pregnancy? Dh and I had an incident at 6 weeks..so about 10 days ago and I am scared to death I am pregnant!! I heard how fertile you can be. I have not gotten a period at all. Totally freaking out...
You nursing exclusively?
I would say if you are nursing exclusively (no formula) and haven't had a cycle, your chances are super-duper low for a pregnancy at 6 weeks.
However, if you are formula feeding or even supplementing with formula, I would be taking a test in the next couple days. It is certainly possible to get preggo within the first six weeks. My aunt did. She had Irish twins born 11 months apart, second one was a week late. She got preggo right around the 6 week mark.
Some nursing women do cycle early, even with exclusive nursing. But it's usually the women who get their period back really early. Supposedly the earlier you get a period back after nursing the less likely you are to ovulate beforehand (aka: someone cycling at 2 months PP probably will get a period before ovulation, someone cycling at 14 months probably will ovulate before getting a period).
Any news from Surgena?? I am a bit stalkerish at the moment ;)
