Hi everyone,
I didn't spend too much time on here yesterday and wow, this board does move fast.
Northern--I saw about your blood chemistry concerns. All those tests can have a lot of false positives. I wish you could get something more reliable like the MaterniT21 although that's Down Syndrome specific. Try not to worry too much for now. Whenever you get a certain result, they just follow their standard protocol for more testing. I hope you will get good news soon!
In personal news, I got a response yesterday from ColdWater on my in-gender thread about the 15 week scan. She commented on the poor quality of it but she said she is still pretty confident that we are looking at a little boy here. So with that said, I feel like I am getting some closure now even though I haven't had the 18-week scan yet. I waver between angry feelings ("why can't WE make a girl?!") and acceptance (sometimes even moments of excitement). I regret not even having attempted a sway (I was too impatient to get pregnant....) but you can't turn back the clock. I'm pretty sure though that not too long from now I absolutely wouldn't want to turn back the clock, even if I could.
Sorry for the long post. I'm so glad I can get on here. Have a great weekend! :Flower:
Diva there was a women on Ingender who swayed for two years and had a boy still, at least you've enjoyed stress free ttc ;-)
Gender scan in less than 5 days now! I'm really starting to feel its going to be a boy ;(
Can't wait for the update! And praying you hear pink :)
I'm a big snacker and eat loads, the ONLY thing I was doing was taking baby aspirin, so doubt that's done a thing. There are a heck of us on this month and we've had one confirmed boy and one girl, so you definitely haven't used up all the blue dust ;( I'm bound to get it.
Counting down the hours! 118 hours left!
That's totally normal!
