Sorry to hear about the colic Bunny, but just had to say what a good looking boy Jamie is! For sure a heart breaker when he's older :)

Here's a pic of Eliana during one of her very rare (!) naps.

Anyone any tips on how to get her to sleep without being on the boob? lol
She refuses a pacifier and will fight sleep as long as she can, until she is so wrecked she can't keep her eyes open anymore
Soooooo precious.... Those lashes :awe::awe::awe:
Oh my goodness, those lashes! So pretty...
Have you tried singing softly to her? Jamie liked being rocked and having his bottom gently patted.
She's such an angel, and yes, those lashes, any grown up girl would envy her :) As to what to do to get her not to sleep on the boob I've heard you get them off right before they are sound asleep, I guess it was in a book called 'the no crying sleep solution, but I never tried. DS1 was the same and I ended up co-sleeping because it was the only way I could get some sleep.
Lunasa, i envy her lashes!! Wow!
My second son needed my boob to fall asleep untill he was 17 months. Unless you have problems with it, it isn't bad AT all and really good to keep your supply up. It's non-nutritive feeding and very normal for baby's. But i know from my own experience it can be exhausting. Once i just accepted it, i became more relaxed.
My daughter doesn't need my boobs for falling asleep and doesn't even want to suck when she couldn't fall asleep (which is seldom the case fortunately). I carry her in a wrap then. Have you tried it? A woven one for summer works really well inside the house (h.oppediz 'das l.eichte' for example)
Lunasa, those eyelashes! So adorable. My little girl won't take a paci either. She does like to nurse to sleep which I let her at night. During the day she is on a eat wake sleep schedule, so shes awake after feedings. We then play and when ready for nap we rock, pat back all the soothing stuff.
I used that schedule with my boys and I think it helps nighttime sleep. She is now sleeping thru the night.
One thing I've learned with 4 kids, sleep makes them sleep. If they don't nap much they will be up at night...hope that helps! Enjoy her.
Gosh 17 months well done you! I only managed 6 months with my first two and prob will be the same with this LO
Yes I have a 'je Porte mon bebe' sling but so far she won't tolerate it, doesn't seem to like the tightness of it and screams lol
