Thank you Boysway :-) I noticed on your signature you are wanting to exchange some blue dust for your pink dust....so I am not just sprinkling but POURING out my blue dust to you looool. I am realllly hoping I have a girl this time (3 boys already) and will keep my fingers crossed for you (unless you know already?) Mine has a no returns policy though haha x
Ohhhh that oufit is just toooo cute! :-)
I couldn't agree more. I was bound and determined that NO ONE would know if it had been a girl. After not dealing well with the news of DD3 being a girl and the horrendous comments I received, I think that protecting yourself and your baby, (even though they don't know the difference) is crucial. THat is why I totally support lying if necessary!!!
empospempalou -please jump in! Virtual friends have been my saving grace for years! Welcome!!
Boysway, i LOVE the panda outfit! So darn cute!!!
Hello fellow pregnant ladies!
I thought it might be time to join in here too!
I am 7 weeks today. I swayed girl but trying to mentally prepare myself for another boy before we even find out the sex just to ease the GD but it's hard. I really don't like being pregnant so if this is in fact our DD then it's my last child, otherwise we might have to try again...sigh
I started getting morning sickness last week and read about B6 and bought some yesterday. I all ready feel a lot better, can it work that fast or is it the placebo effect?!
Looking forward to following you all here!
Hello to the new additions!
Welcome everyone! This thread will be such a fun thread in the coming weeks as we all start getting more news.
I had a gender reveal party for my immediate family the other day and told them all it was 2 boys. I did a "party" with cake so I didn't seem sad or disappointed. They weren't overly excited about 2 boys, but they hid it extremely well. They were all very shocked because they were just so sure I'd "get my girl". I know it seems odd to lie to family, but I'm pretty certain it's 2 boys and they all know the date of my big scan of the doctor's office. It seemed easier just to tell them the news ahead of time so that way when I'm crying and upset a couple weeks from now I dont' have to talk to them about it and can just hide. Lastly having all my family think it's for sure 2 boys is helping me deal with the eventual reality of it. I talk to my mom everyday about "the boys" and do my best to visualize and imagine it. I can't say I've gotten excited about the prospet yet, but hopefully that will come with time. It's much easier to put on a brave face now with family since it's not 100% real yet.
Welcome, welcome! The B6 is a lifesaver, really helped me with m/s but some people didn't have as much luck. My Dr said if you take it in the day time take 50mg 2 times a day. BUT I find it to be an energizer so if you take it at night, it is advised to take it with Unisom (safe in pregnancy). I used that combo for a while and it really helped me.
Bluebonnet- do you know your having two boys? Congratulations!
Another question- do your kids jump on you? I mean when they are playing and being boisterous? I get really worried as my 2y/o will jump, elbow, kneel etc on my belly. I do get a little worried it could hurt the baby and am careful not to let him jump all over me. But he's quick :) do any of you have this with your kids?
