Hay girls glad you got something to help nc with your nauseous :)
My sil had a dd last night. I'm so jealous and upset. I don't even want to go and see her. Why does everyone seem to get there desired gender :( dh told me over the phone and said now the pressure is on for you :( feel like crying and so selfish for feeling like this.
ahh Tiff, don't feel like your being selfish. I would feel and do feel the exact same way. I get sooo angry when I see Mom's walking around with both sexes and I think why can't I have that? Every time I see someone I know with a new baby girl I am happy for them but I also feel like crying inside. Go ahead and cry:tissue:, let it out, you will feel better. Praying that you have a pink bean inside!! :hug2:

Thanks girls had a good cry feel better now. Dh came home and laughed at me and said she really doesn't have any affect on our lives it doesn't matter what the sex of our baby is all that matters is that it's our baby and it's healthy and we can have as many babies till we get our girl (I don't really want anymore after this one) thank you for your support xx
Aw Tiffani I totally feel the same and it is so hard. Every time I see someone with a baby girl, or that has found out they are having a girl, I feel like they are taking up that years allowance of girls and I am bound to have my fourth boy!! I try so hard to be happy for them, and I truly do want to see everyone here get their DG, but the jealousy is hard to push down. I havent really told anyone except 2 very close friends that we swayed for a girl, because if DS4 comes along I do not want to have to listen to the thoughtless comments about how we didnt get our girl. Some people just dont understand. I had a really bad GD day the other day after my scan, but I'm in a better place now and hope that continues. Im trying to think of it this way:
If someone offered me a free mansion in the mountains or on the beach, I would take the beach house without a second thought. But if I wasnt able to, and was given the mountain house, of course I would adore and be so proud of the mountain mansion, and be so thankful that it was given to me. I would always look at pictures of the beach house and long to be there, even though I am sure I would be thrilled with my life in the mountain house. A baby girl is my beach house, LOL.
I guess its to say I would never be disappointed in HAVING another son, but only would be disappointed that ww would NOT be having a daughter, if it comes to that, and if that makes any sense.
Yeah it does make sense Hun thank you its so hard to see through gd sometime and clearly it's about me and my feelings I should be so happy for her now that she has a pp but when she was pg she said to me if she knew it was another boy she wouldn't bother pushing it out. Which hurt like hell at the time as I have 3ds and thought what a selfish comment to make to me but that's her all over maybe she would have known how I feel if she did have a boy and how low that was for her to say that as like you say they are all gifts to us. I hate gd I wish it would just go away now xx
Ok so I'm in a massive low girls I preferred feeling nothing :( been crying for hours now. Feel as though my chance of a dd is gone my sway was rubbish and I don't deserve it. I've put this poor baby into a awful position I feel so cruel. So selfish. How do you make this stop. xx
Aww tiff :( I don't really know what more to say other then I feel completely the same, GD is a horrible horrible thing! I felt the same way a few days ago Tiffani. It def comes and goes. I've made a choice to stop obseesing about beta's, symtoms, or lack of them, and if the baby is on the left or right side...damn you Ramzi!! It is what it is. I'm done having babies, no matter what. I really want to enjoy this pregnancy. I made the decision to get a private scan by myself and not tell a soul, even my dh. It may sound horrible but it will protect me from the comments I'll receive if people know what I'm having. At my 18 week u/s I'm going to tell the tech I don't want to know, even though I will already. If all is well with my baby to be, I will get a scan in 9 weeks to find out. I feel bad not telling my dh but he never got the whole gd thing anyway, and he'll probably be happy if I say I don't want to find out. I know he's worried that I'll be sad if I hear another boy. Good luck with your gd. I hate this garbage. I think the only way it will go away is when our generation gets too old to have children. And then we can obsess about our grandchildren...hahahaha!!!!

Don't think that's horrible to have a scan without telling anyone or dh I think it's a great treat for your self plus he doesn't understand how you feel I'd go for it :)

TM&AL...don't feel bad! It's your hormones messing with you. I, like you, never told DH we were trying! But he doesn't mind at all (I wasn't swaying mind you, but I was doing supplements and everything else for egg health and fertility. So, it's probably a boy, but I'm not picky either way). AND, I did get an u/s last pregnancy, and didn't tell anyone, not even DH, and when we went for our 20 week declined to find out gender! You know, it's not like we're being deceitful in my eyes...honestly I don't complain about not being in the loop when a new girlie calendar goes up on the shop wall. And even if I did tell him, he'd probably just shrug and think women are so strange anyway. You are not a bad person for having feelings or opinions! Don't let anyone tell you that you are!
Hi ladies hope everyone is ok?
Just came online for a quick moan! I've had a horrible wkend with my GD :( 3 of my friends hav just had little girls its totally hit me that it may never be me!! Then to make it worse last night I had a dream this baby was a boy so I'm not feeling great today, I'm really not sure how I'm gonna feel knowing I'm having another boy! This is my last ever pregnancy and gd is spoiling it for me:tissue: we had a family BBQ yesterday and that didn't help as I had EVERYONE saying things about babys gender, we hav all boys in our families Barr my brother's little girl and when all the boys were playing yesterday ppl kept saying no pressure to have a girl hey then laughing, I know its not there fault I mean they don't know how I feel do they!

You know I too had such a awful weekend of gd but I took some time to my self and had a good cry and figured there's nothing I can do to change the outcome now it is what it is and I adore my boys and if I have to be the only princess in my house then that's the way it gonna be. Mind you I'll probably be crying and completely insane again next week lol I love gd and pg hormones :( Hope you feel better xx

I decided at the weekend that I need to try and enjoy this period of not knowing, I have a long time to wait until I find out the gender, so up until then I'm focusing on the fact that I may be having a girl. I know I will be majorly stressed before the scan hoping everything is ok and wondering if I will ever see anything other than a winky on the ultrasound but I guess the less time I stress about it the better it is for me and the baby. Nothing I can do about it now, I know I will feel upset if it isn't a girl, this is our last baby. But I also know that I wouldn't swap my boys for anything so as much as I will feel disappointed about not having a girl I will never regret having another boy - if that makes sense? If another boy makes it through despite the sway etc then he really must want to be here! :)
I had a dream that I had a baby girl when I was pregnant with my first ds so don't stress about dreams! So far this pregnancy I had a dream that I had triplets :worry: and that it was two boys and a girl. When I woke up and thought about it I figure it is because I have two boys already and I'm hoping this one is a girl - not an omen I'm having triplets lol!!
A good friend of mine is expecting a girl next month, and another friend is due a month before me and I have a feeling she will have a girl too. I feel happy for them but envious at the same time but at least I will have an excuse to buy girly things even if I have another boy.
I'm not sure this pregnancy has sunk in yet at all tbh, I've been super busy and it doesn't quite feel real. My morning sickness has got worse the last few days and I'm feeling totally yuck with awful skin and hair. I haven't even started feeling excited about it yet which I feel bad about, but I think it will hit me when we hear the heartbeat at around 12 weeks. I can hopefully relax a bit more then too as I am really paranoid about mc, I kind of feel having had two healthy pregnancies the odds must be against me for not having a mc. Silly I know, especially as I'm having morning sickness etc which indicates everything is going as it should be.
I can't tell you how much I hope and pray we all have healthy pregnancies and get the gender we are hoping for to complete our families. xxx

Ladies I'm still not feeling "horrible" like I usually do. I get extremely hungry and feel sick at the same time. And when I eat I don't feel good after, but not always, and that's it!!! I am breaking out a bit on my face. With my last ds I was sick the whole 9 months. I fear something is wrong. This sucks!!! At the same time, I don't want to feel sick either. I can't chase 4 kids around and have my head in the toilet all day. Thursday can't come soon enough. I hope I see a hb!!! How's everyone else doing?

I've finally booked in with the midwife and am seeing her Sunday to take bloods and hopefully hear the heartbeat and she's organising my scan, yay I'm quite excited.
My nauseous has slightly settled down seem to have it randomly through out the day instead of 24/7 which is a relief but if I forget to eat I feel so sick and dizzy. xx
Tiffani - I feel like you! My m/s has settled and so has my stomach, but it still hits me if I get hungry or if I do a lot of things on my feet.
3M&AL - try not to worry too much, I am sure everything is just fine!
I am so excited that my first u/s is finally tomorrow! FINALLY!!!!!
One strange thing I've noticed is how hungry I get. But at the same time, I don't want to eat anything. It's really weird. I was so sick with my last ds. This feels like a cake walk.

I'm the same, I'm fine first thing then after breakfast I start to feel really sick and then as it gets to lunch time I'm ok again, so I will have lunch but I get full really fast and then feel so uncomfortable and sick again. I've also been getting dizzy and light headed which I can't understand as I've been trying really hard to drink plenty and keep my sugar levels constant. By dinner time I haven't felt like eating anything but I've been making myself have a small portion, again I get full really fast and feel sick for most of the evening. Not fun but I find it reassuring at least that things are ok.
I'm shattered nearly all the time too despite going to bed at 9:30pm at the latest most nights.
The biggest thing for me at the moment is my total lack of motivation to do anything! I've got work piling up for customers and I usually work my best during the evening but I'm just too shattered! :worry:
I've had some nausea, I never had it this early with the boys. And with the boys it was mostly in the evening. I was wondering if for some of us the nausea is related to having been on LE? Apparently some people get ms because of low magnesium, we've depleted our nutrients so much. I have a friend who gets terrible morning sickness, vomited for 9 months with her first, this time she has tried changing her diet and is eating really healthy. Lots of broccoli and almonds. And her ms is much better.
I was craving a cheeseburger while on LE but no I dont even feel like it. I made myself this yummy raw broccoli salad for lunch and I can't wait until lunch time. The problem is I feel like eating raw low fat low protein food now but I really need to put on some weight I got very low on LE.
I have been feeling lazy too. My laundry is sky high in the hallway! oops! I am still having morning sickness but today it seems to have lightened a bit and I was able to eat something but I can't eat very much at all without feeling super nauseous.
Hey ladies, hope you're all doing alright. I think my ms has started easing up some, but I'm too scared to stop taking the zofran to find out lol. I was still feeling nauseous while on it, but lately I don't feel near as bad. Thank goodness. Getting excited for my scan Thursday! I never went this long in my other 2 pregnancies without one, or even hearing the heartbeat. I haven't had anything done yet besides blood tests, so I haven't announced outside of family or close friends yet. I'm nervous bc my youngest just turned 1, and I'd like to say I don't care what people say, but I do. I just don't want anyone to think its too soon. My feelings get hurt easily, especially now lol.
When I woke up this morning, I tried feeling for the top of my uterus, and it is already halfway to my belly button! Anybody else notice this with a 3rd pregnancy?? I'm pretty short and small anyways, but it wasn't there until at least 12 weeks last time. No wonder I feel like my belly looks huge already! Also, a friend of mine was recently told at 10 1/2 weeks they're 95% sure already that she's having a boy. Which I hope they're right bc that's what she wants, but is that a little early even for the nub theory? Got my mind going since I'll be 10 1/2 weeks at my scan... Wishful thinking ;)

Mummy have your had any blood taken? I'm wondering if u have low iron cos how your feeling is exactly how I was and my bloods came bk as low iron so I'm now on iron tablets for the rest of my pregnancy, they make me constipated lol but really made me feel better!

Hi, yep that is what I would have thought but my midwife took a reading of my iron levels and they were good. I'm taking a pregnancy multivitamin which has iron in so that should be keeping things pretty level. My blood pressure was very low though (85/65) which is low even for me so I'm trying to make sure I'm drinking plenty. I've got a GP appointment next week for my bloods to be done so may find out more then hopefully. :)Quote:
