funny how we can carry so big,gain soo much weight or so lil and doesn't affect the size of babes. I never think I look like I'm carrying 10lb babes and yet they fit in there somehow and you look like you could handle a 10lber but have 6lbers:) silly babes:)
It really is mad. I scoffed at my doc when he told me that DS would be around the 9lb mark at term as I had a similar sized bump to DD and had gained less weight then with her and she was 7lb 1oz. When DS arrived at 40+1 at 8lb 15oz I had to eat my words. But he still wasn't a fat baby in fact he was skinnier then DD because he was so long 99th percentile. I still cannot believe that he fit inside me because I have a short torso due to a problem with my spine. No wonder the heartburn never went away even though he was well engaged.
I think your bump this time around is a Girly one ... Your bottom pic is to me a definite boy bump exactly like all 4 of mine !!Quote:

Ha ha that's so funny I have random dreams like that too. Had my first Brixton hicks today with 8 days until my due date - had 3 strong ones from 2pm to 10pm hoping they get stronger and closer together over the next week as cant bare the thought of another 2 week late baby !
I didn't get any bh with my 1st 3 kids. had no idea what they were or any type of front labor pains lol. I have been getting them early w/ this one but they last a couple minutes of hardness.
mum23boys- this is me last prego(top) and this one(bottom) both taken at 38+6 the day last one was born. I think I look the same even though I am 20lbs heavier this time so boobs a lil bigger but think I carry the same- ugg can't tell. baby boy came at 39+6 see mum23boys you never know you may get your girl it doesn't really matter how you carry,foods you eat,ect. it's a 50/50 shot either way:) fx for you

Yes that is average for my boys smallest
9lbs 14oz and biggest 10 lbs 10oz
My first born and only girl was my smallest at 8.5
They all carry and come out the same for me��an feeling kind of sad since I did have a lil hope for having a girl but it is what it is I believe it's a 50/50 shot no matter what we do as u can tell from the super mega swayers who get opposites and the slacker swayers who get lucky lol

mum- you are just all belly girl. looks great:) hope lo comes for you soon since I know you have to get back to work- have comfort in the fact that you will still be at home and don't actually have to leave him/her:)
ive been very lucky to be "all belly" all pregnancies which is why im convinced this is another boy - i think with a girl id have ballooned in other places . Also no morning sickness same as others, good skin and hair like last ones too - infact the only thing that been different between all 4 is my cravings !! Id be very very shocked if this was a girl. so much so that I have a £100 bet on with a friend that is a boy !! If im wrong DH will be paying the bet off as he is so desperate for a girl.
