Congrats Tiff, Teddy is absolutely perfect!! :D
Sorry to interrupt ladies but just had to stop by and say a big congrats to mrshoneyz and tiffani your little men are both so beautiful and teddy is such a cute name and it really suits him xxxxxx
Congrats on your teddy tiff! I can't wait for my teddy now :-). That acupuncture must really work! Is his full name teddy or Theodore?
Awww Tiffani congratulations! He is absolutely beautiful! xxxx
Thank you girls your all so lovely.
Rosie his full name will just be teddy as I love it so so much ;)
My god I forgot how bad after pains were, wow!!!! I think mine are worse than my labor pains!
X
Oh tiff so sorry about the after pains, that's what I am personally dreading the most. I didn't forget how awful they were and I want to cry thinking about it. Make sure you get some ice down there and take warm baths frequently! It will pass soon and your adorable teddy is worth it!
Oh gosh the after pains are the worst!!! Would I feel them after a C/sthis time you think?? Maybe the drugs will make them bearable.. after Ds2 they were worse than labour for sure!
The after pains are supposed to get worse with each pregnancy apparently, I'm really not looking forward to them either! Although I am in so much discomfort at the moment I just want to have my baby now, I'm barely sleeping a wink at night and have my two little boys to look after during the day over the Easter hols. Seriously not fun and I just feel like crying. :(
Gosh, I don't really remember much in terms of after pains with my son... obviously the uterus would hurt a little (just mild twinging) while I breastfed since it was helping it contract back up to size... is that after pains? Or is it something else?
^^I haven't had after pains either time. I mean, some minor cramping when nursing at first, but nothing like what I hear some ladies talking about. So maybe we will be lucky and miss out?!
Two GORGEOUS babies! I can't get over how distinct Mrs littles boys nose is. What a beautiful profile he has. And little Teddy has squishy cheeks that make me swoon. No wonder you ladies are over the moon...they are both edible (not in a creepy way!)
Gena I didnt feel them much with DS1 but DS2 I did for sure! Yes it is the contracting when breastfeeding but it seems to be worse after subsequent babies - hopefully you'll get lucky this time around :) xx
Ugh, woke up with that symphysis pubic thing today...what the heck! Never had it before but I told dh it feels like someone has been beating my lady parts. I can barely walk! Contractions every 20 minutes as well, hoping they don't amount to anything until Thursday though.
How is everyone else doing?
Oh SPD sux!! I have it too hun. Hope the contractions fizzle out for you until Thursday x
Congratulations Tiffani!! He is just beautiful!
I'm not having sore hips when I sleep at night yet but I did by now with my son. Why is that?!
I think maybe it is down to how you are carrying? I've never ached so much as I do this pregnancy, although thankfully it only started from probably about 34 weeks.
I've got really bad period type pain today and sporadic contractions, really hoping this is it!!
I didn't get the after pains with ds1, they were pretty bad with ds2 and I am really not looking forward to them this time! I have even packed paracetamol in my hospital bag as with ds2 it took them about 30 minutes to get any to me and I was in so much pain trying to feed him. Says how bad they were as I gave birth to him without any pain relief!! x
Oooh MP I hope you'll be holding Bubba soon hun :)
I found the after pains really bad this time to, they were worse then the contractions which I felt nothing but pressure!
Oooh mummy praying this is it for u hun please keep us updated and good luck :) x
Congrats mrshonyez and tiffani!!! Your baby boys are beautiful. These last 9 months have flown by, and it's been amazing having you all to share joy, sadness and every other emotion I've had since becoming pregnant. I can't believe we are at the end of our pregnancies. I love you all and really feel blessed to have you in my life. Thank you and congratulations again!!!
That was beautiful Three! We love you too!
So I am in a predicament...I went to labor and delivery last night with a fever and pain. They said I have a possible kidney infection which obviously is serious. However I feel super uncomfrtable taking antiobiotics during pregnancy. On top of that the one they prescribed me isn't well suited for 38+ week pregnant women and cause anemia in the newborn, so not okay with me! I could call and ask for a different kind but I looked them all up and don't like any of my choices. I don't know what to do. I am so nervous not treating the infection whch isn't for sure yet...waiting on results. I am also nervous to take drugs to treat it. Should I wait for the cultures to come back and see how serious it is? ugh I hate this!!
Rosie, yes i would just wait for the results then make your decision, you need to be fit and healthy for your labor, hopefully its not as bad as they think, but do consider the antibiotics if they insist you take them before delivery.
I agree with cinss, wait for results but if u need to take them then it would probably be best as you don't want to labour already unwell and in pain. You poor luv, that must be awfully uncomfortable xx
3M, that was so sweet, it made me get a little teary!
Rosie, I would also wait for the results and go from there, who knows, maybe you'll be holding LO by then :)
Tomorrow morning is Italy appointment to get my cerclage removed. I'm very nervous that it will be hard to remove. Dh is coming with me and we are taking my hospital bad just in case the stitches come out and me cervix pops open like an umbrella!
Italy appointment??? I meant my appointment. Thanks Kindle, not even close!
hahaha gotta love that autocorrect winn! Good luck tomorrow with the removal!
I am hoping baby Teddy wants to come tomorrow afternoon it is going to be BEAUTIFUL outside, perfect birthday weather :-)
Rosie- Sorry to hear that :( I hope the results come back soon and you and your doctor can figure out what to do from there. **hugs**
Mummy- Thinking of you and hoping baby is on the way.
Winn~ Good luck and smooth removal vibes for tomorrow! Keep us posted! Lol silly autocorrect. :P
Winni good luck for your appt tomorrow - in Italy lol That'd be nice eh :)
MP how are you??? Any news for us stalkers :)
I bet I've dilated a good centimeter more. Earlier I had some intense contractions for a good 2 hours. They were every 2 minutes apart but varied in time and intensity so I knew it was false labor and not the real deal but wow did they hurt!
Also been super nauseous today, hoping its a sign of labor and not kidney infection.
Yay Rosie, I hope it all means things are happening soon for you!! When do you hear back from the doctor about your test???
Bimby, hopefully today, I hope it's just a bladder infection. If its only a bladder issue I will wait to treat it until baby comes.
Cerclage is out! It went great, took less than 5 minutes and I barely felt a thing. No dilation and no cramping. Dr said baby is considered full term tomorrow so now it's just wait and see :)
Where oh where is MummyPink http://dl3.glitter-graphics.net/pub/...vh9guvky0j.gif
I have been downing unsweetened cranberry juice, its nasty awful!
holy heck ladies! I put some clary sage on my belly to see if it would do anything. No contractions but wow do I feel goofy. I kind of feel floaty and out of it, like I am a bit high maybe??? Oh and I also smell like pig poo...LOL
How much did you use Rosie?
I used coconut oil, about a tablespoon of that and maybe 4-5 drops of the oil? I couldn't get a clear count but it wasn't a ton.
