Yep, sis-in-law just announced she's having a girl. Vodka and I are having a close, personal relationship at the moment. Luckily dh is out golfing all evening, because his "I don't get it" face is the last thing I want to see right now.

Thanks, ladies! You have no idea how much it means to me to have people who "get it" tonight. I've been crying uncontrollably for the past 3 hours. Luckily my toddlers think it's some sort of weird game, my teen hasn't come out of his room, and dh is till off golfing with buddies. If it's dark enough when dh comes home, I might be able to pass off "normal" and not have to explain why someone else having a baby girl has sent me to extreme water works. Guys just don't get it. Which is why... I need a girl!!

I'm 4 dpo today and feel all the usual signs of AF impending crampy and tingly boobs silly as im only 4 dpo but pretty sure I am out our attempt was super rubbish!!

I couldn't sleep last night, stressing that this attempt has probably failed. I've had inconsistent waking times thanks to DS4 so my chart isn't conclusive. In fact it says I am D3PO yet my positive opks came after this. So I have no idea what's going on. I guess time will tell. And like everyone else I am so inpatient and just want this next week to whizz by so I can test! I had no ecmw this month. I've never had pregnancy signs during the 2WW, just a feeling of starting my period round the time it's due.... so I don't get any reassuring signs apart from a positive pregnancy test. Fingers crossed.
DH and I had our attempt last night so just waiting for my temp rise now! I think I O'd today as I had ewcm yesterday, but nothing but dry today. Fingers crossed for everyone waiting!
Me plus 4 I know the feeling!! The 2ww sucks!!FX you are wrong...just start counting 2 days after your pos opk if that makes sense then say you are that many dpo you will only be a day or so out. Good luck essence xxxxx

We dtd 4 days ago (on the 11th) on a whim a couple of hours after I had applied full application of rephresh. Well, today, I received my +opk. Should I dtd again or just count the 11th as my attempt? ?

Btw, I'm not sure I can trust this but I got a BFP this morning. It was Smu instead of fmu but all the tests I've taken since then are negative. Does anyone know if these ever give false positives? I think false positives are very rare! Omg, congratulations :) Antibiotics should have nothing to do with hcg. What other tests have you taken that came up negative!!!??
I'd feel safe trusting the digital :)

...did you take any other tests with your smu? Perhaps after that the hcg was too diluted to pick anything up. How many dpo are you again???

Future those are known to give false positives. I was on amazon looking for tests and it was very common with those tests. I would try a different brand, because it could be possible you are pregnant. I wouldn't trust that brand. I really hope you're preggo though! !
Angie - the other tests were definitely more diluted as it wasn't from the same sample, lol. I am 9-10dpo now.
Seabee - I have other brands. I will wait to test Smu tomorrow. Yikes!

I've never heard of a false positive with a digital ever!!! In fact, the CB digital with the weeks counter is supposed to be pretty sensitive. I've definitely heard of people getting BFPs at 9dpo with those. Unless your other tests you took were FRERs I'd trust the digital and say congrats are in order!!!!
Girlie-- I definitely know how you feel. I have 4 best friends who have kids now and THREE of them have 2 daughters each!!!! Luckily, my other best friend has 2 boys as well and knows exactly how I feel. In fact, she swayed with me for a girl and is 8 weeks pregnant now!
You don't O till up to 48 hours AFTER your +opk so you definitely need to dtd again tonight since the sperm from 4 days ago will be long dead by the time you do ovulate.Quote:

I'm kinda frustrated the hpt I got in bulk can't be used any sooner than the day before your missed period. The opk's are slowly getting darker, but bfn on the pregnancy tests. I feel like I have too many symptoms, and AF is just on her way. This nausea is non stop.
Yeah, I didn't get internet cheapies for the pg tests...but I do have a stash of dollar store tests. I'm feeling like I am more tired and feeling a little nauseous today but idk if it's because of that test I took.
