I got pregnant from one attempt while trying to AVOID pregnancy and with long cut offs/on birth control for 5 of my 6 pregnancies! It's definitely possible. If humans couldn't conceive easily from one attempt we'd have died out long ago.

Sorry to be confusing. My tests are the kind you dip. And close to ovulation the test line goes from blank to light pink, to darker pink. A true positive is darker pink than the control line, and so my question was when doing one attempt do we wait for a a proper positive or if we get at it as soon as its at all pink (fade in). I think some people on here are doing it that way and some are waiting for a true pos opk. Wondering what's best.Quote:

I'm sorry healthy [emoji20]. The doctor said that was two reasons for my high level but it's a no for both. No cysts on scan and they did a blood pregnancy test. We're going to do CD 6,913

AF should start any moment, I'm HOPING not until tomorrow bc an 8 day LP is just so damn depressing. I hope you're all pregnant by the time I resume TTC after my break in several months.

So much for my opks turning solid true positives. I've tested from day 8, through to today CD15. I had fade in, but not true positive from day11-13, but yesterday and today nothing - not even a faint line, and I don't really have an cm to speak of... Trace amounts but certainly no ewcm.... I'm hoping this is just my tests getting old. I'm ordering new ones as soon as I get back from vacation.

It is a real PITA looking for donors. I'm so angry at myself for 1) not having kids sooner with DH and 2) not thinking to freeze some of his super fertile sperm when he was dying.

I have decided to go vegetarian as of tomorrow, as part of my sway. Which is going to be super hard because I love meat. It is my favourite food group. I remember when I conceived my girls I had no (or very very little) EWCM and since the return of my AF 6 months ago, I have quite a bit EWCM, so I need to get rid of it. I am hoping going vegetarian will help with that. I am so torn on whether or not to use acijel or not. I know the stats are not very good with it, but I did use it with both of my girls. So I am not sure. Any advice is appreciated!

So my sister in law is expecting the first girl in the family (I have three boys) and it's been hard on me..especially her baby shower. Well today, she was admitted with placental abruption at 33 weeks. I've been hysterical for her and the baby. Thanks ladies, sounds like she's admitted until delivery..praying she makes it at least another 3 weeks. It's been so hard to watch her be pregnant with this little girl..but, it's amazing how much Iove I have for her and she isn't born yet. Hoping that this brings my sister in law and I closer. It will be hard not having my own little girl but also nice to have a little girl around. (If that makes sense)

I know I've been MIA, but I just find it so hard to be on here during the 2ww...which turned out to be a bust in my case. BFN and AF today. Sigh. Plus...well...the girls from my original BFP group should all be having their little bundles of joy right about now. So hard to come on here as I've got blinders on not wanting to see those posts. (I'm SO happy for them...I just can't see that without being sad for me the and chance I lost.) Anyway...
I scored some Femara, so I'm going to try that next month. And I'm going to do everything womanly possible to get dh "up" for the task more often next month. 1 attempt is NOT working for us.

Pebbles if you are referring to clearblue fertility monitor I am using that.
One attempt hasn't worked for me. ( honestly don't know if one attempt was the issue or using zyrtec and sylk and rephresh) but this cycle I'm gonna bd once on first high day that my monitor tells me and once on first peaks. I know that's not ideal for girl sway but I'm gonna risk it.

What is ideal for girl sway re:monitor? I was going to do every 4 days (dh is 39) and then stop once a high appears. Assuming my cycle is normal. Going to try rephresh and antihistamines too.
I think I have been reading older posts and now I'm so confused on what to do!
Not sure what is ideal.

I am nervous on first attempt to be too close to o. Ds2 was day before o or day of o. Although my lifestyle was very boy friendly. I will try on peak 1 if high days doesn't work with time.
I can see why you are worried in that case pebbles.
Did you only have one attempt with your son?
I had 4-5 attempts in the fertile window.
I would love to conceive with a cut off of o-3 but haven't been able to hence need to move closer to Ovulation day.
