Positive opk today so maybe I am ovulating?! How weird as it took so long last time for my cycle to return. Not sure whether to dtd again tonight? Will my body be recovered enough to get pregnant again do you reckon? It's 2 weeks since I started bleeding.

Mummy2boys in situations like this I like to think that if your body is ready it will allow a pregnancy, if its not it wont so personally I'd add an attempt tonight for sure BUT if you have any doubts whatsoever then go with your gut xxoo

I am 9DPO (according to FF) although I think I ovulated maybe 2 days later.
Anyway woke up this am to pinky discharge (which is now brown) I had cramps in my right hip last night and sciatic pain on right side also. Do we think it could be implantation or just a weird blip in my cycle? I did a cheapie test today (not expecting anything) but just to be sure, which was neg. I'm quite run down I've had a cold for 5 weeks which has now turned to a chesty cough so hopefully that's good enough poor maternal condition for my pink sway! Ha ha!

I am indeed girlsway. My temps are a bit spikey because I am a shift worker and my daughter is occasionally up so they aren't always as accurate as I would like.

That’s a big dip on 8dpo it could well be implantation! Hope you get your bfp this month!! x
Girl dreaming that dip at (likely 6dpo) looks very promising for implantation especially combined with your small amount of spotting. If it was implantation then you should see a faint line on a sensitive test like frer either tomorrow or the following day. How exciting!! Fx fx fx!!

It is very exciting even though I am still dubious about my sway and my attempts. Atomic thinks that it was 1 attempt and that FF is correct so let's hope she's right and I still have a good chance of having a girl! We shall see! I am so inpatient! �� Xx
Girl dreaming an frer is a first reponse early result pregnancy test. It's very sensitive so will show a line before many others on the market.
With the temp dip it can also be caused by a secondary estrogen surge which occurs approx a week after ovulation however a deep dip like yours almost to coverline is quite promising for an implantation dip instead. You'll know in a few days regardless [emoji3]
I find it highly unlikely you oed the day before a pos opk. I honestly think you're 7dpo or even 6dpo but I don't suppose it matters anyway if you get that bfp [emoji12]

Also girl dreaming I have a slight dip on my temp around 10dpo and didn’t get a bfp till 12dpo so it could have been implantation for me :)
Thanks for your reply! My temp dropped a little bit this am but not much and I have some more brown spotting & slight backache (however I do suffer with my back) so I am not sure I am going to get my BFP this month.
I haven't tested yet as I only had internet cheapies left so I am going to the shop on way home to get a 'Frer' type one and will test tomorrow am I think.
2nd beta came back... was 111 on 14 dpo and 252 on 16 dpo. So it did double in 48 hours and doc said looks good so far. First appt is Feb 27!

Thanks Mommy. It still seems so LOW but I guess the fact that it doubled is fine. You had lower numbers in the beginning too, right? I asked the doc about it still being low and he said it's early and it doubled, so it's fine. I just see everyone else's crazy high numbers and think mine should be higher too I guess :)

Don’t compare yours to others, I actually took a hiatus until I got all my results, because I was freaking myself out comparing to others. She’s perfect, and your baby is perfect too! [emoji8]

You can't compare to others though. It's a doubling game. You can start with anything from 0 to 5 hcg in your system (all of which are entirely normal) and so a person who starts with 0 will have less than a person who starts off at 5 but the pregnancy is still developing properly.Quote:

Looking at the numbers one would say wow the pregnancy at 16 is much lower that the 160 but both pregnancies are doing exactly what they are supposed to be doing! Doubling is what counts! Imagine this - a woman could start off at 5 and NOT have doubling, her pregnancy may not even be working out, but would still be higher than a pregnancy developing normally that started off at 0 or 1 or 2 hcg! Don't compare numbers!

I've had two miscarriages in the past 6 months where I had low beta numbers, so you can understand why I'm more paranoid about the numbers - especially with them still not being real high now.Quote:

Hello, this is my first time posting and I am currently 3DPO and in the 2WW.
I have been charting my BBT but it seems to be all over the place and very low (35.95 the day before ovulation and then between 36.05 and 36.19 after ovulation). Is is generally between 36.00 and 36.05.
My question is, for those mums that are still getting up to other children in the middle of the night and the time that I wake is all over the place as well, can you trust your BBT temps?
I am taking them before I get out of bed and after 4 hours of solid sleep, but they seem lower than what they did when I was testing for DS2. Some days I am testing about 6 hours sleep, others after 4, and I get out of bed anywhere between 5.30 and 7 each day.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...e921e597d2.jpg
I just wasn’t sure if perhaps the OPK appears to have given a false positive result, or if I can’t rely on my BBT based on the other factors mentioned above. There is a slight pattern, but definitely not as clear as other people! I will add that this is my first month trying to conceive and I didn’t temp for this whole cycle.

Hello all. I had an attempt yesterday but with a fade in unclear wondfo OPK. I am going to keep tracking and may have another attempt. This is my first attempt this sway, and it feels like a long shot. How many days post ovulation did you keep checking? TTC girl.

Anicole going by your temps I would lean towards cd21 being o day. Oing up to 48 hours after pos opk is very common and completely normal. Taking your bbt after 4-6 hours is perfectly fine especially if doing so consistently. I wouldn't doubt your temps as restless/little sleep would falsely elevate your temp, not lower it. Open mouth breathing can cause falsely lower temps if temping orally. If your temping vaginally then I would consider them quite accurate. Some people simply dont experience a clear cut change in temps, but its more about a sustained clear shift than how high the shift is. Low temps can also indicate low progesterone but I wouldn't jump to ths conclusion this clise to o.
