Gafan - Are you doing E4D??
Have you had AF yet since your chemical? I started AF on April 1 - 23 days after D&C - and I'm pretty sure I didn't ovulate before it started. I swear all these hormones and miscarriages (and in your case - all the FET stuff) really seems to screw things up.
Yea I did a little quick research on it - sounds like it's very new and not something most doctors would know or care about. At my ultrasound yesterday my RE basically said she's run all the tests she can and so if this last one (DH's chromosomes) comes back normal then it's just "bad luck". Doesn't make me feel great about trying again if I'm just going to have "bad luck" over and over! You and I may be in the somewhat of the same boat then - just trying each month, getting pregnant, and having to wait for awhile to see if we actually got a good egg or not!!! LOL, even my OBGYN (at my 7 week ultrasound in February where I found out I had most likely miscarried) got frustrated and said "we just need one to stick, dammit!!" Made me laugh in what was obviously a bad situation!! :)
One thing I saw when I did quick research on it is that baby aspirin and progesterone after O are recommended as possible treatments. Are you doing those? I have progesterone vaginal capsules still (doc prescribed them when I had my first m/c). I'm really thinking of doing both from here on out - I just don't want to do nothing. My OB also wants me to do baby aspirin (but the RE is against it - gotta love conflicting advice!).
Gafan it's impossible to say if that spike is o related or not as we have no previous chart for comparison to know where your temp range is pre and post o. I would think it unlikely you've oed though. Is the 6pm test the top pic? Looks like your line is getting stronger if it is so hopefully your surge is coming in!

After 3 losses had DD 2018 [emoji178]
I haven't had AF since the bleeding that was my chemical -- but I also am super regular and usually ovulate normally after a loss. It's a symptom of the hyperfertility supposedly! I even had my periods back with exclusive breastfeeding 5 weeks after DD was born and was pregnant at 3 months PP! Which is why this happening now of all times is stressing me out!
I totally forgot to reply to your other point earlier -- you totally have a chance for a girl! Granted I did an EXTREME LE lifestyle to get one apparently, but I am such a quintessential boy mom all around that I always try to tell people if I can get a girl, they can! The great irony is that I wanted a boy so bad but didn't know about swaying :( If I had just eaten I probably would have had my boy
I've done both but still had losses. In my case, aspirin doesn't matter since it's not a clotting issue and my lining is "beautiful" as I've ben told lol. I've heard progesterone makes the uterus "choosier" for us hyperfertiles, but I've still gotten BFPs doing that (even with my transfer of abnormal embryos!). Though I have noticed I lose them quicker with progesterone (versus most of my non progesterone losses, where I make it to 6-8 weeks before losing).
I'm telling you -- it's not just the egg! The sperm is 50% of the equation :P And whereas the egg can actually correct and fix things to am extent, a bad sperm is a bad sperm as I've learned :(
TP - Yea I ovulated normally with my first two losses and started AF 24-25 days after the bleeding started which is the exact length of my normal cycles. And yup - I was BF-ing DS2 (not exclusively b/c I have a crappy milk supply) and AF came either 4 weeks or 6 weeks after he was born. I forget exactly when, but it was quick. My cycles are sooooo clockwork - even all the swaying, dieting, losing weight didn't throw them off at all! Nuts. It all sounds like hyperfertility. I really don't know much about DH's sperm though - he did have a SA in October in which all was "normal" (high sperm count actually) but is that telling us enough about his sperm health?
Well - maybe if AF comes soon then things will go back to normal on the next cycle!! I know what you're still facing with DH's sperm but I'm hoping you're able to try again soon and that you can get some good answers on DH!! The waiting around just sucks :(
Mamabird - yea I think I'm just going to try both. I'll tell my OBGYN I'm going to do it - maybe not the RE though since she doesn't seem to approve :)
It’s quite uncommon and not much research on it here in the uk I did google then quickly stopped because I did see some scary things relating to pregnancy but I’ll keep postitive!!
Yes was the nt and Edwards test :) was freaking out because I’m travelling abroad and thought I wouldn’t get my letter in time, luckily I did!
Have you heard back with your results yet abc? Or was it hubbys you were waiting for? Sorry if I missed the post! X
I'm in panic. I'm sick with some respiratory virus these few days with pretty bad cough, and today the soreness of breasts has gone, and I feel different. Could this be normal?
Sunstars hope all is ok! Symptoms coming and going is completely normal though stressful [emoji173] hope you are feeling better really soon xo

I'm hoping AF doesn't come at all and I ovulate and get pregnant! :( :( :( The idea of facing a fruitless period after the last few months feels agonizing.
And yup, sounds like hyperfertility to me! I have some links if you're interested! That is one of the other big signs of it -- super regularity, even after full term births and losses. I've even been thinking about how I was an extremely low weight with my anorexia as a kid and still had a regular period; back in the day, losing your period was a necessary element to get diagnosed, but I got diagnosed because I had every other symptom (I think my BMI got as low as 15 something? I know my lowest weight was roughly 90lbs at 5'6") and they thought my periods still hanging around were because of my hypothryoidism. Now I look back and think, "Omg, it was the hyperfertility!" I thank myself all the time for being as paranoid about protection as I was in high school :worry:
As for DH's sperm health, I can't remember if we talked about it? I think I talked about it with someone else on here. DNA sperm fragmentation/oxidative stress damage can't be detected in a normal SA, and is what's responsible for the male part of loss. A man can have a totally normal semen analysis but still have issues with that! It's a specific test that can be ordered through a doctor (Reprosource is one of the companies that does it). In our case, my DH DID have a red flag SA, but no REs cared enough to pursue it and I had to be the one to push for more testing after our first IVF cycle revealed sperm issues.
CD19. Still cramping, still breaking out (have been for the last few days), less CM. :( The cramps seriously feel like menstrual cramps.
The latest I've ever ovulated was CD21, but that was back when I was breastfeeding a bunch a day and was within like 8 months postpartum. :(
Are these menstrual like cramps still possibly gearing up for O? Has anyone ever had these?
Just a quick update from my miscarriage a few weeks ago. I got our baby's chromosomes came back. It was in fact XO, which is Turner syndrome which is a common cause of miscarriage. My OB has sent for chromones four times and three have been positive for Turners. So it may be more common than originally thought. It is very nice knowing it truly wasnt my fault. You can tell it to yourself, but i finally can believe it now. Second plus is my sway worked technically. Negative is that im starting hcg level blood draws because im 16 days post d&c and still testing positive on hpt.

I got too excited too soon. Apparently it was just a chemical pregnancy. Positive pregnancy tests lasted about one week. Then intense cramping and blood. Back to square one...

False alarm for me. Woke up gushing CM and got a blazing positive OPK just now lol.
@HGmama: I'm so sorry for your losses. I definitely know how you're feeling. Knowing the babies never had a chance sort of helps, though it all still hurts. Have you guys had a karyotype done at all? We spoke with a geneticist after having two Trisomy 8 boys and they said they do start to raise their eyebrows a bit when you start getting the same chromsomal abnormality over and over. Our karyotypes were normal though.
@nonerz: Don't think you got excited too soon! Most people end up with happy stories from BFPs. It's totally normal and reasonable to be excited. It sucks to be the other side of that statistic :( I am so sorry for your loss.
Girlsway - Yea I'd try not to stress about it a lot... Things are going SO good so far so just keep thinking positive thoughts!!! Can't wait for your gender scan!!! We're just waiting for DH's chromosome results at this point - should be back by the end of the week.
Sunstars I hope you feel better soon!!
Pbn - LOL I'm active and I feel like I'm also annoying!!! I feel like I take over this board too much with all of my own issues!!! Thank you all for being patient with me :) :) :)
HGMama - I'm SO glad you got an answer and can be very reassured now that nothing was your fault! Hope that helps a bit in your healing process. Hope the HCG goes down soon - it's frustrating, I know!
I'm so sorry Nonerz :( I know the feeling as well and it's awful!
TP - YAY for +OPK!!!! Woo hoo!!! Good luck in your attempt(s)! Are you doing multiple attempts?
We did two in a row this morning :holysheep: I even joked to DH who asked, "Are you like super ovulating because you're so wet?", I said, "Well if there's a god or sentient universe, I will be since I read a study that said fragmentation was lowered substantially within an hour of release." And sure enough, positive OPK a few hours after that lol!
I've tended to O 24-48 hours after the surge in the past. I'm debating whether to BD tonight and then the next two mornings or to just BD the next two mornings. :nails:
Eeeek so exciting! Your timing is great, multiple attempts, lots of CM! Will be praying my head off the next few days that a healthy egg meets a healthy sperm!!!!!!!
LOL, "super ovulating"? Men crack me up with their understanding of the female reproductive system!!! Totally sounds like something my DH would say!
And I'm going to PM you soon with more questions about hyperfertility - So just a heads up :)
Sorry to hear so Nonerz:sadflwr:
Good luck Throwaway:luck:
Hgmama I'm so glad you were able to get an answer and hope your hcg is just going down slowly rather than it being retained tissue [emoji120]
Nonerz I'm so sorry and big hugs xo It gutting to get that bfp then have it taken away [emoji22] Hope your able to conceive ypur sticky bean really soon [emoji173]
Abc you're amazing [emoji173] Again, I'm so happy to see you back!!!
TP wow!!! It sounds like you'll have plenty of attempts in!!! Like Abc I'll be hoping like mad to see your sticky bfp!!

emshe - Crosshairs!!! Interesting - it does put O day as the day you got the +OPK. Do you think that's right or do you think it may have been the day after? Either way - your in the TWW and your temps look great so far!!!!! :fx:
It did this last month too, i feel it can’t be. I have symptoms the day after opk so I think that’s more likely...

Hi ladies. So I took my last test today with afternoon pee and it is still pretty light at 17dpo. Shouldn’t I see some sort of progression? Or am I overthinking things? I don’t know if I want to go do betas just because I don’t want the added anxiety. But my FRER was pretty light this afternoon.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hannah I'm so sorry and I hope I'm wrong but I'd be quite worried if it hasn't darkened significantly by 17dpo [emoji17] I'd honestly suggest getting betas as it will give you a straight answer and rule out ectopic as well (not that I think there's any reason AT ALL it would be ectopic, just a precaution which can be ruled out at the same time)
Betas are really the only reliable way to find out if the pregnancy is viable I'm afraid and even though I'd recommend bracing yourself for bad news there very well may be nothing wrong and your lack of test progression is from other reasons...
Big hugs xo it's terrible being in limbo [emoji173]

Thanks Pbn. I find it reassuring to know that variation is normal. I haven't had a chance to learn about temping yet. Last two pregnancies happened quickly in the sway so this is the first cycle of data. the top one was 6pm yesterday. Attached below are 1230pm and 6pm today, CD17. The 12:30 I didn't drink more than a sip the three hours before. The 6 p.m. had a bit more and maybe diluted. Not positive OPK. Last cycle I had a clear positive at cd19 so I think I will wait at least another day for the attempt.
