iluv : I spotted with a couple of my pregnancies and everything was fine....my midwife said sometimes your body is trying to figure out how much blood to make in the beginning and can make too much causing spotting or just hormones in general. With DS2 and DD3 I spotted bright red blood for 2 days and when I went for a scan I was losing a twin....both times. That was crazy, I don't have any living twins nor do they run in my family, but my doc said NEVER to go on clomid. I will keep you in my prayers.
Daisy : We have a small farm. We grow corn, beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, cantalope, watermelon, peppers, turnips, pumpkins, lettuce, herbs, sunflowers, and so much more. Most of what we grow is for our family and we do sell to the local markets and to our milk customers. We milk Nubian dairy goats and Jersey dairy cows. Oh, we also have meat and egg chickens, turkeys, ducks, rabbits (for manure), and pigs. Each child also has their own breed of chickens for show or just for fun....they love it, but they have to care for them.We can not pay our bills with just the farm money (unless we let the goverment rule us), so my husband also has a full time job.....Police Dept investigator. As farm as drought, Last year we had almost no rain and lost almost all the crops. This year we lost half the corn to a tornado, but the rain has come more frequent.
And yes we LOVE having the farm and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. It makes it hard to go on vacation, but laying under the stars with the one I love makes it all worth it. We lived in a community for 4 years and this is where we belong.
Okay pregnancy signs....not sure if this counts, but I have been so thirsty. I am still drinking the extact same amount and kind of liquid....it is just not doing it. My temp jumped from 97 to 97.2

Iluv, I hope your appt goes well and your hcg level looks good. Really try not to worry until you need to....like all said, LOTS of women have normal spotting and all is fine. Give your DH a hug from all of us for being a sweet pea and helping you out.

WP, good for you for not letting the gov't rule your farm, I love it! And that is crazy that they think you lost a twin twice in a row! Perhaps that happens more often than we know. But yes, no Clomid for you! Seems like you don't need it anyway!

Thanks everyone for the sweet wishes, I hope you all are right and this is a good month for not just myself. DH and I are excited, we had fun last night, and you all will get a kick out of this: he told me this morning he is going to eat a ton of healthy stuff this week because this is the week his "boys are performing on stage." LOL.....such a dork. (That's a work reference for him, for those who don't know I have the priviledge to have a giant man-child artist for a husband....he's a ballet dancer.)

Lola, I secretly think twin boys would be fun but then the thought of carrying them 9 months frightens me! You never know!!
I am just hanging out waiting for AF to come and go so we can ttc our boy. Its been so wierd, AF has come on the 6th day of the last three months! I wish O day was as predictable as AF!! When you OPK test, does anyone only see very light test lines? I am glad I got the digital OPK but the test line on the strip only has a small strip of it thats as dark as the control line, but it still shows :) Wierd!

Hopeful, that is exactly how I feel about twins....my friends that have had them went early, of course, and had to eat a pantload and gain a bunch of weight (ugh) and one was on bedrest for a month.....I know it would be a high risk pregnancy, which does not excite me, but hey, if I get two, then I will just have to make it my mission during that time to be a super health nut!
Hmmm, about your opks....they are only truly positive when the test line is easily darker than the control, although some ladies get one that looks identical to the control line. The day before mine turns truly positive, I get one like you describe where the test line is like a fade, with a dark strip and the rest is lighter. I definitely get fade-ins for a few days. I've done enough of them now to know my fade-in pattern to a T, and I only use internet cheapie opks from earlypregnancytest.com. (Although I only use FRER hpts.) Hopefully that digi will help you nail it down. I hope that answers your question!

Wow, WP, that is interesting re: the twins both times. Twins do run in my fam. Last night I dreamt that I was getting my dating scan (I have my appt tomorrow) and they saw twins, and I was BAWLING because I didn't know how to tell DH. It was a rotten dream. I hope it doesn't come true.
I didn't realize you'd already attempted to get pg WP! So are you in the 2WW now? How many DPO? I don't know how I missed it!
hope.ful my digi would turn + and not look like a +OPK, where the test was darker than control. That happened to me on the cycle we got pg. My cycles changed a couple of times during the course of the diet though ... I used to get very obvious +OPKs and then had a couple cycles where I either missed my surge (which I just don't think happened) or never got a full +. Trust those digi's though! You might not be able to have the advantage of seeing a fade in pattern which definitely helps in terms of planning the abstinence, etc, but you can certainly trust that if it smiles at you you've got it!

About my Ex, I looked super hot that night too I had on this black corset and Jeans and platform wedges. Bright red lips! When I walked in after some of my friends he had his back to me and was chatting with them. I walked over to him and didn't even recognize "Adam" from the back He turned and the look on his face was enough. He hugged me and he was shaking. Keith (DH) walked over and they chatted for a second. We all know each other as we all went to same HS. Dh is a little older...and hotter! ha! He asked what I have been doing and I just rapped it off, Happily for him, I said well, "Keith and i have been married for over 4 years, we have a beautiful little girl, We own a house in Campbell, we own a company with my 2 brothers (the despise him that were there that night LOL), Keith works in the union, I'm still a makeup artist/esthetician, I said life is really good. I can't complain. I said what are you Doing these days? He said "um just working here and you know living life" For the entire night he found any reason to talk to me...all my girl friends we like he still loves you its so obvious. Whatever..him loving me or not is not my concern. I have a fantastic life and a great husband...being able to give him a big fuck you made my life! I think any girl knows when any ex and especially your HS sweet heart Fucks you over hard core, later in life being able to have the situation I did was truly epic. My husband knew how good it made me feel. He was so proud of me that night. And before we left the house, he goes "do you need to wear that top, you boobs look too good. I don't want everyone staring at you!" I said Yes babe its your birthday, I have to look extra special! So later he tells me "thank god you wore this, cause you look so hot! Adam must be kicking himself for giving you up"
So naturally He was rewarded greatly.

I feel great today, thanks for asking Tink! Which is odd bc I was sure yesterday I was going to loose my lunch. I'm finding I just have to be very, very careful about eating regularly AND be very careful about what I choose to eat. So far, so good... if this is as bad as it gets I'm thanking my lucky stars for sure!
Now if we could just get a break from this heat! Good heavens it hasn't been below 100 since June :mad:
Off to the gym; since I'm actually feeling like a normal person today I'm going to take advantage of it :bigsmile:
