Ugh, my asthma has flared up really bad due to the weed and mold spore count where I live! Harvest hasn't even begun yet, which is another big flare up for me due to mold and air quality. I hope I can get relief soon! I keep coughing up mucus and having sinus pressure. Until harvest is over I'm using my nasal rinse, steroid inhaler, Zyrtec, and my nasal spray! I may have to add singulair soon so I don't have to keep relying on my steroid inhaler. At least these meds are safe in pregnancy and my steroid inhaler and spray don't even get into my blood ******!!
I just want to breathe, is that too much to ask?

XX, I hope you're feeling better! I'm also having a hard time breathing right now. I've discovered that my asthma is highly allergy-triggered, so I take benedryl and it helps me a lot. I haven't had a full attack in years, though, and refuse to be on a daily steroid which makes my doctor frustrated. Unfortunately pregnancy can make asthma better or worse, and changes even between babies :/
Pebbles- I'm excited you got such promising news! I hope the itching has resolved and doesn't lead to something else.
I have my anatomy scan on Monday, when I'll be 20+1. I'm excited to see the baby but still nervous about her health. And there's still that slight worry that the blood test wasn't correct. So I haven't really committed to it being a girl, and although I'm looking at nursery ideas, I haven't jumped on any yet. I'm hoping that the mental block will disappear after visual confirmation of a healthy baby girl. On a positive note- I can feel the baby quite often now :)
Thanks ladies! I'm doing better. I'm still not back to 100%, but I'm getting there. I too, Temerity take my allergy medicine regularly, Zyrtec and my nasal spray, but it didn't stop my asthma from flaring up. The steroid I'm on, Budesonide, doesn't get into my blood ****** via inhaler or nose spray. It is the only one recommended in pregnancy and nursing because it doesn't get to the baby.
I'm probably going to have to go onto Singulair until I get past harvest. Right now, weeds and mold are high in the town I live in and harvest is just a few weeks away. I'm always bad this time of the year but usually weeds, mold, and harvest aren't all going at the same time :/.
I can't wait to get more updates from those having their scans! I love seeing cute babies!

Hey Sunbunny, thanks for asking. Sorry, we've been super busy!
We are having another healthy boy! :) Let the shopping begin!
Fivebabies that's so amazing and to know he is healthy is the most important!!
Sorry to hear, xx and Temerity, having issues with asthma and allergies. Everyone else ok?
My chronic back issue is so bad. And a masseuse and chiropractor can't do anything for me.
Just under a week till our nxt scan. Not wanting to find out in the room so I will be asking them to write it in an envelope and I will be finding out in my own time.
I am not feeling sick anymore (yey) but on the down side I have been in chronic pain with toothache for 2 weeks.dentist said it was an infected wisdom tooth so I have just finished a course of penecillin but still getting bad toothache on and off.when I lie down the pain wakes me up in the night.which is whay I'm doing right now. It's 2.40am here and it's woken me up so had to take some painkillers. Got a review on wed so will see what she has to say then.

Oh geez Eleena that sounds awful! I hope you are able to get some relief soon. And please keep us updated on your scan <3
Pebbles, I'm sorry to hear that you are unable to successfully treat your back pain. Would a physical therapist be any better do you think?
Five- congrats on your healthy baby boy! He was surely meant to be a part of your family.
XX I hope the meds are working... I'm still laid low with this cold that's aggravating my asthma, but I'm hoping to be over it soon!
I had a minor disappointment today- my anatomy scan was rescheduled to Thursday due to a staff emergency. My oldest was so excited to see his sister today, but luckily we were able to scramble and set everything up so that he and DH can still be there for the scan. I'm finding that the catch-22 of finding out the sex early is that it leaves nothing to distract you from worrying over physical health issues at the anatomy scan. I'm just praying that all is growing well for my little babe.
I'm so excited! Had my scan today, and my baby boy is 100% healthy and perfect. My placenta previa is gone!!! I'm so excited to start working out again. I was doing 5 days a week before this little guy.
Just wanted to update :)
