Nobody likes high glucose and so your body takes steps to keep your glucose levels from becoming too high. Glucose is present in your cervical mucus and this is the environment the beans live in during the 2WW, when they implant in the uterus.
Of any aspect of swaying, this has the most evidence supporting it. Beyond the theory, researchers know for a fact that XX and XY suck up different amounts of glucose from their surrounding environment and they can even tell the difference between XX and XY based solely on the amount of glucose they suck up (all the rest of the swaying theories are totally hypothetical - no one has witnessed minerals, pH, etc making any difference at all). XX sucks up more than XY does, so XY may NEED extra glucose than XX does and XX might even suck up too much glucose.
