Emmy !!! Yaaay!!! Congrats honey!! We're due 2 days apart -- that's excitement plus! ;)
3boys - how cool that you'll know in a few days! Can't wait to hear! :)
Ha, I just said to my hubby last night, "Now we can start talking names!"
I like really girly names (probably because I'm so used to picking boy names ;) ). I also, for some reason, am gravitating towards names that end in "a" or "ana" but I don't know why, I guess I just really like them. So, I've been thinking about: Eliana, Gianna (DS1 was going to be Gianna if he was a girl), Ava, Amelia, Julianna, Annalise (or perhaps spelled Annelise, or Annaliese), Liliana (or Lilliana), Claire, and Sophia. It's SO hard for me though, because I'm such a girly girl and I love so many girl names...but, I only get one shot at it because we're done having kids after these two...so I need to pick my absolute favorite girl name, and make it really count, kwim? I have a feeling I'm going to be wavering on this name for awhile. ;)
For boy names, DH and I both really love Logan. DS2 was almost Logan. That's probably our favorite boy name right now. But I also like: Noah, Owen, Elijah, Joshua, Joel, Nicholas, Jeremiah, and Zachary.
This is fun! What are the names you are all thinking about?
I have no idea what it actually is, its something i had with both ds2 and ds3. I fell down the stairs years ago (pre kids) and did some pretty nasty damage to my back. It was fine for years then being pregnant really irritated it. It started just before birth with ds2, about 18 weeks with ds3 but never really want away after that pregnancy. When its bad i can't move my legs in certain ways and i have a walk that could rival that bloke out of the usual suspects (my husband loves that film, but the bit a end where kevin spacey walks out of the police station really really limping, then stops and staightens up part way down the road - just like, looks really silly) Nothing too bad though its mostly just inconvenient as opposed to painful but looks like it maybe starting early this time.
I thought girls were more accurate around 20 weeks? isn't 12 weeks super early to tell? guess i need to read up on this nub thing lol
Yes I heard this too, I actually had a scan booked for yesterday, but we had to cancel because DH couldn't get away from work. But in the end I am partially happy about it because apparently the difference in accuracy in an early early scan and an 18-20 week scan is substantial! So I am waiting the month, feels like forever though :(
